Our holiday home is located in in a lovely mountain landscape, in a quiet, panoramic setting nearby Periferia. "Baita Panoramica" is unique, distinctive style.
Surroundings
Our guests will be able to explore the porperty's surroundings thanks to our helpful hosts.
Close by our guests will find several monuments and famous places sports and fitness centres for working out on holiday, ski slopes and carousels for all winter sports.
Location
Our property is the perfect place all families on the move will feel right at home here, for a romantic getaway that makes you feel like a couple again, if you love the peace and quiet of nature, far from the bustle of the city.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella "Baita In Borgo Alpino". Tutto perfetto, casa pulitissima e cucina attrezzata, ottima base di partenza per passeggiate ed escursioni in valle. La proprietaria e' gentilissima e disponibile, non andatevene senza aver provato i sui formaggi di capra, sarebbe un delitto.

We had an amazing stay in Ala di Stura. Everything about Cinzia's place is magical, and she and her family were fantastic hosts. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and entirely handcrafted, with breathtaking views of the mountains and river from every balcony. I highly recommend taking the short walk up to the farm and tasting their fresh goat cheeses. I can't wait to come visit again.

Our stay at Baita in Ala di Stura was superb! The accommodations were welcoming and warm, as well as perfectly clean. During the day, we opened the windows to hear the soothing sound of the rushing water in the valley below, but by evening we were happy to relax next to the cozy stove. The sleeping accommodations were ideal for our group of 5, and everyone slept well in the mountain air. My favorite part of our visit was the visit to Formaggeria Ca Du Roc where Cinzia allowed us to watch the evening milking of their goats, and sample an array of delicious cheeses made by Cinzia and Renata, owners of the farm and creamery. We took a lovely walk to the Creamery and back admiring the breath-taking landscape. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I am dreaming of our next visit to Baita Panoramica where we will again appreciate the first class hospitality, delicious food, and awe-inspiring vistas.

The modest approach to this B&B (a few steps down from the road) belies the charming, cozy rooms, and the incredible panoramic views from every level. The property has been lovingly restored, and appointed with modern conveniences—a lovely bathroom and shower, a good heater, comfortable beds, and a well-stocked kitchen. What completely won us over, though, were the sweeping views of the mountains above, and the soothing sound of the rushing river below. In the morning, we walked down to cold, clear river, and can’t wait to go there again to hike and fish and stay much longer! Cinzia showed us first-class hospitality, and if you stay here, you must also visit the lively goats and lovely cheeses made by Cinzia and her friend Renata just up the road at Formaggeria Cà du Roc.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella Baita Borgo Alpino. I monti, gli abeti, la neve, i rintocchi e campane, la vetrata vista Fiume e Valle, l'alberello di natale, le lucine, le candele e gli addobbi natalizi hanno reso il ns natale magico. Il giorno della partenza è nevicato e noi siamo tornati un pò bambini. Baita Borgo Alpino è un luogo per ritrovare se stessi e per rilassarsi in coppia. Cinzia e Paolo sono host disponibili e gentili, sempre attenti alle richieste degli ospiti. La baita è calda e accogliente e molto spaziosa. È dotata di due stufe a pellet. La nostra cagnolina ha apprezzato molto il cortile esterno e i sentieri naturalistici vicini. Bob, il cane della famiglia, è dolcissimo. Volendo in fase di prenotazione si può scegliere l'opzione colazione (a pagamento). Ottimo lo strudel di mele di Cinzia. Lascerei acceso il termosifone del bagno per un maggiore tepore, soprattutto notturno e per chi soffre il freddo, e la possibilità di avere l'acqua calda in maniera continuativa in cucina. Alla prossima!

Ottima accoglienza e disponibilità da parte di Cinzia e Paolo. Casa pulita, comoda e a misura di famiglia, cane compreso! Oltre a ciò producono dei formaggi di capra meravigliosi. Consigliatissima! Bella baita con tutto il necessario, la signora Cinzia è super disponibile e molto gentile. La stufa scalda benissimo tutta la casa. Siamo stati con cani, nonni e bambine. Essendoci le scale interne non è l'ideale per chi ha difficoltà nel muoversi, per cani che hanno timore delle scale e per bimbi troppo piccoli. Nulla di negativo per noi.

Siamo stati in vacanza a Martassina, frazione di Ala di Stura, punto di partenza per tanti sentieri, un luogo adatto per vivere la montagna vera. Abbiamo soggiornato in una baita ristrutturata con tanto amore, in legno, molto curata nei piccoli particolari, e con una vista mozzafiato sulle montagne e sul fiume Stura. La baita rispecchia i suoi proprietari, Cinzia e Paolo: due persone vere, fantastiche, sempre disponibili. Un grazie a loro, alle loro capre e alle montagne della Val d'Ala. I.

La baita è molto bella, ristrutturata, accogliente, pulita, un ambiente molto caldo. Raggiungere gli impianti di Ala o Balme è facile (meno di 10 minuti in macchina) così come altri tipi di servizi (vicino a casa c'è un bar e una macelleria/alimentari molto comodi). L'accoglienza di Paolo e Cinzia è stata veramente top, disponibilissimi sia in fase si prenotazione che durante il soggiorno (con tanto di latte appena munto per la colazione offerto!). Gli impianti di Ala, dove abbiamo trovato altrettanta splendida accoglienza, sono l'ideale per famiglie con bambine per chi deve imparare a stare sugli sci. Consigliatissimo!

Bellissima baita su tre piani con vista mozzafiato; calda, accogliente e costruita con materiali perlopiù del luogo. Ampio terrazzo esterno dove poter prendere il sole o ammirare la volta celeste. Wij verbleven hier voor een aantal dagen en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. Het huisje is echt supernetjes en er is werkelijk alles aanwezig. Het uitzicht over de valei en rivier is sprookjesachtig. We are a 50 year-old couple married with a son, nature, mauntain hiking and skiing lovers. We like the idea of hosting and meeting new people to make known the beauties and the goodness of our territory. We manage with another family a farm where we breed 80 goats (about) and produce goat's cheeses and delights. We have renovated our house and the chalet that we put here available almost exclusively with our hands and with great passion and attention, fo this we ask our guests to take great care of it.

Area suburbs

he hamlet of Martassina is 2 km from the municipality of Ala di Stura, where in addition to various restaurants and shops, there is the possibility of using e-bike rental, a wellness center (by reservation), a fishing reserve, a path between the sundials and, in winter, skating and a small, quiet winter sports resort.

Upstream, in the nearby municipality of Balme, a fishing reserve, typical restaurants, pizzerias, an adventure park, a vertical labyrinth, a mountain museum and access to the Pian della Mussa, a high mountain area of great naturalistic interest, which in winter (from Balme the road to the Piano closes on November 1st) becomes an ideal place for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and skialp, completely immersed in nature.

Starting from Ala di Stura, Martassina and Balme, easy walks along the river are possible, excursions to alpine lakes lasting 2/3 hours depending on the destination, and a little more demanding excursions to shelters and bivouacs over 2000 meters of altitude.
