Villa Arancio has been built at the beginning of 1900 and for the renovation has been used the original materials. In this way, B&B Villa Arancio has had new life.

Starting in 2026, I will no longer offer a breakfast buffet.

A coffee machine and kettle will be available for guests to prepare tea and coffee milk at any time of day, as well as some packaged products, Yogurt, bread, butter and jam made by me for a light breakfast to be enjoyed in the bedroom or in the garden (those who book the bedroom with the upstairs terrace can enjoy it on that terrace).

As each room has a refrigerator, anyone can buy fresh products at the supermarket.

Hallo Angela Vielen Dank für die Bewertung. Ich antworte selten öffentlich, aber in diesem Fall tue ich es für zukünftige Gäste. Bei der Buchung einer Unterkunft muss man Prioritäten setzen. In Ghiffa gibt es beispielsweise zwei weitere B&Bs mit Frühstücksbuffet, die aber deutlich teurer sind (20 bis 50 Euro pro Nacht). Mein B&B bietet dieses Jahr ein einfaches Frühstück, dafür kann man sich aber den ganzen Tag über kostenlos Kaffee mit Milch oder Tee zubereiten. Jedes Zimmer hat außerdem einen Kühlschrank, und wer Aufschnitt oder Käse essen möchte, kann diese im Supermarkt für ein paar Euro kaufen. Aktuell sind es in Ghiffa 35 Grad Celsius. In der Villa Arancio sind alle Zimmer klimatisiert, während die anderen beiden B&Bs trotz ihrer deutlich höheren Preise keine Klimaanlage haben, was im Sommer für Gäste sehr unangenehm ist. Jeder kann also seine Prioritäten selbst festlegen. Die Bewertung von 5 von 10 Punkten für das Frühstück hat mich überrascht, da dies die niedrigste Bewertung ist, die ich je erhalten habe. Zusätzlich zu den von Ihnen angegebenen Frühstückszutaten Brot, Butter, selbstgemachte Marmelade, Joghurt, Kaffee, Tee, Milch, gab es auch einen Korb mit abgepackten Süßigkeiten, darunter Brioche mit Vanillesoße oder Marmelade, Pflaumenkuchen, Zwieback, Schokoladenkuchen, Kekse usw. , da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis berücksichtigt werden sollte. Very nice host, great location with a wonderful view. Clean room, sufficient for 2 people. Coffee and tea are adequately available, but breakfast is a bit sparse and prepackaged. However, it is sufficient to start the day without being hungry.

We stayed four nights at B&B Villa Arancio. We were very satisfied. Every morning there was a variety of bread, rolls and tarts, as well as puff pastries, naturally freshly baked by Roberto. There were always ham and cheese, fruit, etc. Breakfast was served in Roberto's charming kitchen. The room was very clean and well kept.

Very nice property with a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. The owner carefully prepared the breakfast, rich and abundant, and especially with homemade cakes, jams and other items. The best bed and breakfast we have stayed at and I honestly don't think any other will beat it. Superb in every way: we loved staying in the beautiful villa with its original features, maintained and decorated to the highest standard; the luxury of the air-conditioned room with its stunning lake view; the exceptional breakfasts, delicious home made breads, croissants and pastries better than from top establishments. Roberto is a very nice host. The breakfast is delicious and cakes and rolls are freshly baked every day. View of the lake and a nice balcony for the room with a separate bathroom (which was not a problem). Everything was clean and tidy, there was nothing to complain about.

We found the location of the house very nice, even though you cannot park directly at the house. The short walk was even very relaxing. Everything is clean and well-kept and nicely furnished. We really enjoyed the hospitality, the good tips, and last but not least the hearty breakfast and the host's baking skills, as well as the view of the lake. We will definitely come back!

The place is enchanting and the manager is very courteous and helpful. The only problem is the access road and the lack of an elevator inside, aspects that make the structure a bit difficult for elderly people. Otherwise, it was an excellent stay.

We stayed 3 nights at bedroom number 2 in B&B Villa Arancio at the beginning of spring. It is located in the center of Ghiffa, so there are several choices of eateries within walking distance. The house is surrounded by old streets leading to the main road, which is great for strolling. Otherwise, the lakeside pathway opposite the main street is also a good choice. Both the bedroom and the exclusive-use bathroom are spacious and clean with a breathtaking view from the bedroom balcony. Breakfast was excellent with homemade bread, pastries, cakes, and even jam! The host is very kind and friendly; he even made diabetic-friendly pastries due to my special need. Thank you, Roberto!

Roberto is really a great and friendly host and offers probably the best breakfast, with for example different homemade rolls, bread and cakes every day. The wonderful B&B is located a stone throw away from Lago Maggiore with a wonderful view of the lake. Our high-quality e-bikes were safely stored in the cordoned-off garden. The garden offers a wonderful place to relax. We will definitely come back to Roberto's Villa Arancio and recommend it for other travellers.

We had a great week at Villa Arancio with three of us (including a three-year-old child). The clean room with air conditioning and direct access to the garden was perfect for our needs. The well-kept garden is a great place to relax or enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the lake. For a swim, you just have to go down the stair-like road and cross the street (2 minutes). The breakfast is exceptional for a Bed and Breakfast, thanks to Roberto and his skills as a pastry chef. Furthermore, Roberto is just a very nice, accommodating but in no way intrusive host. We will gladly come back when we visit Lake Maggiore.

Excellent facility near Verbania, convenient for a tour of the lake in the northern part. Our room had a splendid lake view with a terrace, sun loungers, and a table with chairs. Unfortunately, the room only has one door and no additional window, and the large mirror next to the bed bothered us a bit. So only 9 out of 10 points. But those were really just minor things. B&B Villa Arancio met all our needs and expectations, my husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa with a nice outdoor space. We stayed in the top floor room and we loved our terrace with a rapturous view of the lake. The host Roberto was most friendly and accommodating. An experienced chef, he produced delicious fresh bread and brioches every day as part of the breakfast which we very much enjoyed. The villa is just a few steps (and stairs) away from the lake, with nice swimming spots, and close to the natural reserve. We would definitely like to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful B&B with a lovely garden (garden furniture available) not far from the lake. Nice view. We had a spacious and comfortable room; the bathroom was rather small, but everything was present and worked perfectly. Roberto provided an unbeatable breakfast every morning with freshly baked bread (different every day!) and cakes. Fresh orange juice, cold cuts and cheese, yogurt and also delicious coffee: everything was there. Roberto also gave us tips for excursions in the area and reserved a table for us at the nearby restaurant. Highly recommended!

The three of us spent 6 days in this accommodation and the beautiful surroundings. B&B Villa Arancio has been beautifully renovated and we enjoyed a brilliant view from the room and the garden overlooking the lake. The room was spacious, so setting up the children's travel cot was no problem. In the garden, there was always a shaded spot even in the height of summer, along with various garden furniture to suit all tastes. There is no direct parking at the hotel, but that was not an issue for us. The B&B is very clean, the breakfast was one of the best we've had on our travels. The host always provided us with a high chair for the children and a kettle. The fridge in the room is very practical. The host speaks very good German and is very fond of children. Thank you for the lovely time at Villa Arancio.

Wow, what an experience! We miss Roberto's wonderful breakfasts already! Every day the breakfast is super fresh and different, and therefore a beautiful surprise at the beginning of a new day. The house and the nice garden, right next to a very beautiful little church (don't worry, at night no noise), are very well kept and the view of the lake is spectacular. C'è anche un parcheggio sulla strada Nazionale vicino alla Piazza di Santa Croce (ancora piu' vicino al B&B Villa Arancio) senza disco orario , mentre se si desidera quello col disco orario si deve mettere solo se si parcheggia dalle 11.00 alle 12.00 e dalle 14.30 alle 15.30 (orario in cui generalmente gli ospiti sono via per escursioni) e in nessun'altra ora del giorno, inoltre Ghiffa è forse uno dei pochi paesi in cui non ci sono parcheggi a pagamento e ci sono sempre parcheggi liberi anche in piena estate non essendo un paese di turismo di massa essendoci poche strutture ricettive.

We stayed at Roberto's property for 5 nights, doing some serious bike riding. The breakfast was amazing and delicious, with tasty home-made breads, croissants and cakes as well as some regional cheese, prosciutto, fruits and much more. We even could grab some oranges from the tree in the garden. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything you need to regenerate well for the next ride. We do definitely recommend the Villa Arancio for a stay at Lago Maggiore.

The room with balcony was very spacious, with a large balcony offering a beautiful view of the lake. Although the bathroom was across the hallway, it was not a problem. The breakfast was simply fantastic: you were awakened by the scent of freshly baked bread. There were always two types of bread, two freshly baked cakes, homemade jams, and much more. Just for that reason alone, the accommodation would be worth it.

Truly beautiful. Roberto is super professional. Welcoming, precise and attentive to customer needs. I confirm the generosity of the breakfast with a choice of savory and sweet (the sweet and bread are prepared by himself). The cold cuts and cheese are niche products from the adjacent valleys. Roberto is also attentive to suggesting excursion proposals from the more challenging ones to visiting the islands of the lake. The structure can only be reached on foot, but the car can be parked along the main road less than 1 minute away on foot. I highly recommend it to all those who love peace and courtesy.

The first..Roberto, the owner of B&B Villa Arancio, is dedicated with passion to his B&B and his guests. The property is very very clean and furnished and decorated with attention to detail. Our room was big enough, the bed / mattress very comfortable. The bathroom was extremely large and equipped with everything. If it's important for someone, the wifi doesn't work well. If it's important for someone, there is no TV in the room. This didn't bother us. Maybe if it rains and you don't want to go out?! The last stretch from the parking to the B&B is about 50 meters, some stairs. Therefore, the luggage should not be too large / cumbersome and heavy. Recommendation! A charming house, tastefully decorated and a warm host. Roberto greeted us warmly, showed us everything, we felt comfortable. Roberto is happy to give tips on restaurants, pizzerias in the area. Then for breakfast: Wow again! Roberto is a baker and pastry chef! Freshly baked bread, rolls and delicious cakes or sweets every day, various cheeses, ham, salami, tomatoes, eggs (scrambled eggs or other), homemade jam, honey, juices. In the morning you open the door of the room and the scent of a bakery wafts in. Did I forget something? Maybe?! It was just fantastic. Uncomplicated and familiar. We were lovingly taken care of. Communication worked very well because Roberto speaks German very well. We will come back!

Beautiful structure with three rooms in the second row from the lakeside of Ghiffa, the location is still an advantage as the first row of houses on the lakeside road filters out vehicle noise, parking possibilities along the road or in dedicated spaces a little further ahead. Excellent welcome from the friendly and caring Roberto, beautiful room assigned to us with ample space both in the bedroom and in the bathroom; excellent room tidying and cleaning, comfortable bed (even though the structure is a bit noisy, which is however of little consequence) and the pillows, large wardrobe and very efficient and useful refrigerator; not missing the television, replaced by an excellent WIFI. Excellent breakfast, varied especially in the sweet part with a great Roberto who delights his guests with breads, sweet brioches personally made, also good local cheeses. With the good weather, possibility of breakfast outdoors on the veranda and green space equipped with sunbeds to sunbathe and relax.

We were greeted with great courtesy by Mr. Roberto. Beautiful and new structure. Our room very spacious and well furnished with a stunning lake view. Very large bathroom with a window. Good breakfast. Also possibility to park without difficulty in the adjacent public spaces to the B&B. Definitely recommendable.

Roberto Bergamaschi is the born host and for all his guests, he is the ideal contact person. He knows the nearby and the farther surroundings of the Villa Arancio very well and gives great tips and assistance. He fulfills with his skills as a pastry chef all the wishes for a breakfast that one can only imagine. The rooms, kitchen, garden, and the entire area are perfectly maintained and absolutely clean. We are very happy to have stayed with him.

In the very well-kept and charming villa of host Roberto. We can only join the comments as well. Very large rooms, everything very well-kept and clean, beautiful furnishings with attention to small details and every morning a radiant smile from the host with a wonderful breakfast featuring freshly baked delicacies. We felt completely at ease in his oasis. The small tips for excursions, where to park best, etc. were also very helpful. All our expectations were met, indeed exceeded.

We always felt very comfortable with Roberto, like at home. Since we were traveling with our baby, it was important for us that the hotel was clean and quiet, and we found all of this there. Roberto baked delicious cakes for breakfast every day and often gave us tips on where and how to go on excursions. Roberto, we often remember you and would love to return to your villa in Ghiffa.

B&B Villa Arancio is a wonderful place. Roberto manages to make his guests feel comfortable from the first to the last minute. The breakfast with homemade cake is fantastic and is served on the terrace overlooking the lake. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. The day can wonderfully end in the shaded garden, allowing you to unwind. Highly recommended in every respect!
