Description

Pleasant standalone building, adjacent to the church square and the small playground, in front of the Bramaterra museum, in the charming village of Casa del Bosco (Sostegno), located on the hills of Gattinara, cultivated with Bramaterra and Nebbiolo, framed on the horizon by the Alps mountain range, it is the ideal place to relax with walks and off-road bike trails and enjoy the good local wine (Bramaterra, Gattinara, Lessona, Ghemme).

The B&B is equipped for bike washing and has a key-locked garage to store them.

The large terrace is fully available to guests.

It has been since I was 18 years old and went to Ireland, to Dublin, with my friend Lara, as an au pair, and came into contact with and fell in love with the reality of B&Bs that I dream of opening one.

We were girls who took care of children and the house during the week, and on weekends, we traveled around Ireland, staying in hostels and B&Bs. Girls and boys from different countries, communicating with their own accents, in English that gradually improved and helped them get to know each other. People who joined in with the Irish choirs in the pubs in the evenings, exchanging ideas and opinions, understanding that deep down, we were all the same in the world, it was our ideas that made us different and so special, each in our own way had a world to share there, that night, to make known and appreciated by others.

Now I am happy because my B&B is finally a reality that allows me to meet magnificent people from Sicily (right, Spampinato family?), Liguria (right, Adriana and Stefano?), Emilia (friends Ferretti), Tuscany (mythical Elvira Pajetta, who makes tea artfully), the USA, France, the Netherlands (what a fantastic retired couple traveling the world who made a stop at my place, right here in Casa del Bosco), Germany, Denmark (magnificent Ruphert family), Spain, and who knows how many other places in this immense tiny world. Each person brings me a piece of their history and dreams, and what is most important to me is to leave them with a beautiful memory of the B&B, the place, but above all, of the hospitality, of feeling at home in another house, another world, another dream.

We stayed at B&B Ca' dal Busc for a weekend, unfortunately rainy, but the welcome was very sunny. The provision of the spaces is well taken care of in every detail and it feels like home. Claudia and her family are very helpful, prompt, and generous. The setting is a very quiet and peaceful place, surrounded by nature and conveniently located with respect to the various destinations in the area. Since the weather was not very favorable, we will definitely come back!

The structure is pleasantly furnished in a retro style with furniture restored by the managers themselves. The beds are comfortable and the quality of sleep is perfect thanks to the silence of the adjacent forest. The managers are very friendly, discreet, helpful, and present when needed. The B&B Ca' dal Busc is located in a strategic area to visit places of interest, such as: Biella, Candelo with the characteristic medieval Ricetto, Oropa, the Sesia valley, Lake Orta, Lake Maggiore.

As soon as you enter the house, you are immediately enveloped by enchanting scents and an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Everything is very well organized, from the arrangement of the towels to the breakfast table. The managers are very kind and helpful. This B&B is a small pearl nestled in the greenery of Piedmont.

It is not enough to read, you really have to try. The place is enchanting, the house is a dream (in the sense that only in my dreams have I seen houses like this), the breakfast table is always exquisitely well-stocked, as if a magic wand magically set it with every delicacy for the following morning. But the icing on the cake (it is really the case to say so) are the managers. Such affable and wonderful people that they could only have come out of a fairy tale. It is an experience absolutely to be done.
