Description
B&B AL SASSO is situated in Toceno, the most panoramic point of the Vigezzo valley and as the popular old song quotes " Toceno, charming town of the valley is called the balcony..". We are in the Lepontine Alps at the entrance to the delightful Val grand National Park, a unique valley in the heart of the Verbano Cusio Ossola province.
From the B&B AL SASSO, two of the most well known and visited villages of the valley can be reached, Arvogno and Blizz. They are the starting point of many interesting walks and tours.
The house recently built, consists of a double bedroom with a balcony and a second double bedroom with an additional third bed and two bathrooms.
Available for our guests use are a spacious terrace and garden, equipped with games and sunbeds. A reading corner, TV, stereo and kitchen exclusively for your use, washing room, pram,high chair and a bicycle.
Tourist information leaflets also present.
Every year there are many festivals organised in the Vigezzo valley, also called " Valley of the Painters" due to the number of famous painters born there such as Carlo Fornara and G.B. Ciolina. In particular the " International Chimney Sweep Gathering", not to be missed in September, together with the Christmas markets which bring together hobbysts of every type. A few Kilometers from our B&B you can find the magnificent " Sanctuary of Re " a place for many pilgrims devoted to the " Madonna del Sangue" ( Our Lady of the Blood). We look forward to seeing you and don't forget to make a nice journey on the characteristic little white and blue train which runs along the entire Italian-Swiss line from Domodossola to Locarno. The B&B AL SASSO welcomes you and offers a rich breakfast and a taste of local delicacies.

The Vigezzo Valley is situated in the Lepontine Alps and is reknowned as "the Painters Valley" - as much for the historical preponderance of portrait and landscape painters as for its inherent beauty. There are seven villages in the valley: Druogno, Santa Maria Maggiore, Malesco, Toceno, Craveggia, Villette and Re. They all have hamlets attached, in which the atmosphere of the past rural life still persists. A holiday in Vigezzo means pleasure, relaxation and the discovery of a still unspoiled alpine world. There is so much to choose from among walks and trips, discovering meadows, woods and mountain pastures. If you pass through the Loana Valley from Malesco you will enter the Val Grande National Park, which is the largest area of wilderness in Italy.

Tutto perfetto. Quello che cercavo per la fuga romantica di una notte. Camera mansardata accogliente e molto bella. Bella la location sulla strada per Arvogno che era la nostra meta per le camminate. Cercavamo un posto tranquillo e rilassante e così è stato. Colazione super dolce e salata e padroni di casa gentili e disponibili.

Bella vista su parte della Val Vigezzo posto strategico per gite nei vari luoghi d'interesse della Valli Ossola.
La padrona di casa di una gentilezza e disponibilità squisita, insomma ci torneremo sicuramente.

Mia moglie e io siamo stati colpiti dalla raffinatezza dell'arredamento, dalla pulizia e dalla gentilezza.
Unica difficoltà: parcheggio della macchina non facile.

Siamo stati in questo B&B per una notte in una quadrupla che la signora ha perfettamente allestito per 2 coppie.
La camera è molto ampia e confortevole, pulitissima.
La ricchissima colazione viene servita davanti al fuoco del camino.
Complimenti alla signora per la cura dei dettagli della sua struttura, per la disponibilità che ci ha dimostrato. Assolutamente consigliato.
Toceno è stata una piacevole scoperta.
(in caso di neve chiedere informazioni per accedere alla struttura considerata la ripida salita).

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo deciso di passare due giorni in questo B&B. Bellissima accoglienza e persone gentilissime e disponibili. Colazione ottima e camera bellissima, ampia con un bel terrazzo e molto pulita. Se dovessi tornare indietro non avrei dubbi a scegliere di nuovo questo B&B.

Soggiorno reso piacevolissimo dalle attenzioni riservateci dalla signora Federica che non ci ha fatto mancare nulla.
É stata molto disponibile ad offrirci tutte le informazioni richieste e anche molto elastica con gli orari avendo noi una bimba di due anni si é immedesimata nelle nostre esigenze.
E proprio per la bimba ha pensato a tutto, persino a una scatola piena di giocattoli.
Per non parlar della colazione, abbondante e varia.
Nel complesso siamo stati bene e lo consigliamo vivamente.
