Sleeping in a historic building, on the ruins of an ancient secret passage that once connected the Govone Castle to the Royal Chapel of the Savoy Family. Opening the door of your room and finding yourself in the park of one of Italy's former Savoy residences. Enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace at aperitif time, watching the sun set over the hills of Roero.
The B&B Agorà is located on the remains of an ancient secret gallery that, during the Savoy period, connected the Savoy Castle to the Royal Chapel of Queen Maria Cristina and King Carlo Felice. A place rich in history and elegance welcomes guests in its two rooms, which derive their names from this fascinating historical fact.
Maria Cristina room with bathroom, the favorite of couples looking for relaxation and romance. Located on the first floor and on the left side of the B&B Agorà, the room offers its guests a relaxing view of the Castle park and the historic building that once housed the Savoy Orangerie.

Carlo Felice is the Agorà Suite and consists of a double bedroom, a very spacious bathroom, and a beautiful living room with a table, chairs, leather sofa bed, and a relaxation area with a multilingual library. From the room's window, you can breathe the park and admire the former Savoy Orangerie; from the private balcony of the relaxation room, overlooking the main square of the town, you can see the walls of the Castle.

Govone is a small Piedmontese town of about two thousand inhabitants located in the geographical region of Roero, on the border with the Asti Monferrato and the hills of the Langhe.
The historic center of Govone develops all around the Castle, a medieval stronghold rebuilt in the eighteenth century, the temporary home of the young Jean Jacques Rousseau in 1730 and a majestic Savoy residence from 1792 to 1870. The Castle of Govone is, together with some of the twenty-three Savoy residences of Piedmont, Unesco World Artistic Heritage since 1997. The building can be visited every Sunday from March to October, while the gardens and park are always open and freely accessible.
Thanks to a deep-rooted wine culture and extraordinary natural landscapes shaped by man according to the cultivation of vines, since June 2014 the wine-growing areas of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato have been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some of the finest Italian wines are produced from the grapes that come from this protected site, such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Asti Spumante and Barbera d'Asti.

Lovely place and highly recommendable, ideal for exploring Alba, Asti, and the nearby villages of Langhe / Piedmont. Modern and new rooms, tastefully decorated with ample storage space. Unfortunately, it does not have air conditioning, which is absolutely necessary in summer. The breakfast picture on the web does not correspond to the actual breakfast, which is self-service in the room.

Buongiorno Andreas la ringrazio per la sua recensione, volevo precisate che per quanto riguarda l'aria condizionata ha ragione purtoppo è il primo anno che nella nostra zona si raggiungono temperature così elevate, di solito in questo periodo le temperature sono più basse. Per quanto riguarda la colazione si era precisato nella conferma della prenotazione che veniva servita in camera con prodotti confezionati con macchina del caffè e bollitore dell'acqua per il t? e tisane e per rendere il vostro soggiorno più piacevole vi sono state servite delle torte alla nocciola, torte al cioccolato e dei tortini hai mirtilli. Grazie ancora per essere stati nostri clienti.

Our host Vittorino was fantastic! From arrival to departure we were treated as family. The suite was renovated and clean, the shower was amazing! All of the furniture was comfortable and in new condition. We loved the location, great for food and wine. I highly recommend Agorà B&B. We will be back.

We had an excellent stay in Govone, a charming village. The host took the time to give us details about the area while offering us a welcome drink. The breakfast is varied with local products and homemade pastries. The room is very clean, nicely decorated, and has a lovely bathroom. We can only recommend this place if you are looking for a little corner for a few days of "bella vita". Thanks to our host for this stay.

Mr. Vittorino, the manager of Agorà B&B, welcomed us with a welcome prosecco and explained very pleasantly everything that can be done and visited in two days in the Langhe. The structure is located in the center of Govone, right under the castle. The suite is very pleasant in its decor and colors, clean with every comfort. I highly recommend staying in this corner of the Langhe, in 15/30 minutes by car you can immerse yourself among vineyards and hazelnut trees and breathe the essence of this magical place.

There is no better hospitality and attention. We had wonderful days at B&B Agorà and in Piedmont. Vittorio is a wonderful host who took a lot of time immediately after our arrival to explain everything to us in Govone and in the surroundings. His tips on pleasure (wine and food) are excellent and very helpful. His sightseeing in the surroundings is also great and makes the start of the holiday very easy. The breakfast served by Vittorio is fantastic and a great start to the day. There was a very rich buffet with cold cuts, cheeses, jams, fruit, homemade cakes, and freshly brewed espresso or cappuccino. Really great and so loving. The guesthouse is well located. There is an enoteca just around the corner. Great for a quick drink or snack. Everyone is also super friendly. In addition, there are three great restaurants (from pizza to almost gourmet cuisine) nearby without the need for a car. All in all, a great package, but above all we would like to thank Virrorio once again for the wonderful hospitality. This is truly unique. Thank you for the great time.

Brand new and very clean structure, located in the center of the Christmas markets. Manager really kind with a special attention to children. We were offered a welcome aperitif with a little treat for our daughter. Everything perfect.
