This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner Avio pleasantly greeted me and took my suitcase to a very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was waiting for me with lovely pastries and coffee. And it was highly affordable. The beautiful clean town of Carovilli is very friendly and picturesque as well. I recommend it highly.

The bed & breakfast is very clean and well-kept. The view from our room overlooked the entire valley with swallows flying in front of the window. Mr. Avio was very hospitable. I recommend parking outside the center and taking the steps.

The accommodation is very nicely arranged where you are welcomed by the host. Unfortunately, it was not clear on the booking page that in September you cannot eat there in the evening because it is closed, as are all the other restaurants in the village and several in the surrounding area. You are therefore dependent on a vehicle if you want to go out for dinner. The size of the double rooms is also very optimistically stated at 20 square meters; you can hardly move in there. The family room, on the other hand, is more spacious. Breakfast is not available at the accommodation but in a café/bar across the street... and here the selection is anything but satisfactory because aside from croissants there is nothing on offer... apart from drinks.

Nel B&B è possibile cenare dietro prenotazione obbligatoria per legge, perché si tratta, come specificato, di Home restaurant, Nei piccoli paesi trovare locali chiusi fuori stagione è più che normale e, comunque, ne erano aperti 4 da recarcisi con mezzi, cosa si aspettava di trovare la metropolitana? Le stanze sono da m. 14 a 20 m. (modo di descrizione previsto B&B. IT). Lei ha prenotato le due camere singole, quando è arrivata ha accampato problemi al ginocchio e le è stata data la camera family, 35 mq. (1 letto matrimoniale e 2 letti singoli, due bagni) e se non fosse stata libera? E comunque, nessuno le ha chiesto alcun supplemento, chissà se in Germania questo sarebbe stato possibile! Sulla colazione, le ricordo che, come da abitudine, io chiedo sempre se vi fossero particolari esigenze o richieste e, avuta risposta che la colazione all'italiana per voi andava bene, vi è stato consigliato il bar. Perciò, si rassereni e consulti attentamente le descrizioni riportate sul sito prima di prenotare e poi rifletta prima di fare recensioni non corrispondenti al vero. Buone cose.

La Dimora del Sergente has everything you would need for a stay in Carovilli. It is close to parking and a short walk to the piazza. Breakfast was served every morning at a time that was very convenient for our group. The room we stayed in was very spacious for our family of four. We enjoyed being guests at the property and would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a typical experience in Carovilli to stay here.

We stayed here during our pilgrimage to Monte Sant'Angelo. Avio prepared a very good meal for us, was very kind and friendly. Everything was in perfect order.

Regarding the cleanliness, everything was impeccable. Avio was very kind to us and helped us in everything he could. The breakfast was plentiful with local products. At La Dimora del Sergente, we feel at home. Carovilli is a wonderful village. We hope to return one day.

Very unique rooms, tastefully decorated and full of pieces of Samnite history, Mr. Avio, the owner, immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel at home. Sublime breakfast and if you agree with Avio, you can enjoy a fantastic dinner full of local flavors. If you find yourself in Molise, you must take advantage of this delightful place.
