Description
The Stephanus Residence is a holiday home located in the center of the medieval village of Termoli, also known as "o paese vecchi", a true terrace overlooking the sea. It is a place rich in history, art and hidden treasures for centuries, the Palace was the Episcopal seat since the sixteenth century.
It is an imposing residence that housed the ancient reliquary containing the remains of the skull of San Timoteo. Thanks to its precious rooms, the Palace hosts exhibitions and events every year, and since 2018 an underground path has been inaugurated, discovered after renovation works, revealing an ancient cistern, two rooms once used as stables and granaries, and a cemetery area dating back to the Bronze Age.
It is a unique location to experience beauty, art, and faith! The chapel inside the Palace and the adjacent Cathedral also allow for a stay full of spirituality.

Excellent accommodation with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I recommend taking the guided tour in the caves below the structure and then visiting the cathedral.

It is not easy to stay in a former episcopal seat with intact furnishings and a private chapel. Excellent in everything!

The place is very unique, a museum house with a truly suggestive atmosphere. The staff is courteous and helpful. The location is unbeatable: very convenient to the port for boarding to the Tremiti Islands and right in the center. Recommendable.

Ancient and well-maintained palace, located in a very central area. The room is spacious but too bare, lacking support for clothes and bags. The lack of air conditioning, which would be absolutely necessary, was compensated with the loan of a fan. Although courteous, the managers did not show great availability (did not answer the phone, no possibility to check in earlier, no possibility to leave luggage in the room even within the check-out time).

Salve signora Emanuela, Ci piacerebbe precisare diverse inesattezze della sua recensione. Per ciò che concerne la camera le ricordiamo che Le informazioni relative alla dotazione della camera e alla tipologia di camera sono riportate nel dettaglio nella descrizione. Lei stessa ha scelto la camera più economica senza aria condizionata (info più volte comunicata) ed è stata nostra premura mettervi a disposizione un ventilatore elettrico. I nostri 3 numeri aziendali sono accesi h24 mentre il numero che ci ha lasciato in piattaforma era inesatto. Il check-in è fissato alle 14:30 (orario comunicato in diverse fasi della prenotazione) non per una presa di posizione ma per avere il tempo di sistemare e sanificare la stanza al fine di consegnarla secondo le normative vigenti. In ogni caso il check-in anticipato è possibile solo qualora la camera non venisse occupata la sera precedente e pertanto va concordata in anticipo. Poiché le camere vengono sistemate dopo il check-out è improbabile che vi siano state tolte le valigie prima. Oltre non essere una pratica che applichiamo non risulta assolutamente che vi sia stato chiesto di lasciare la Camera prima. Anzi mettiamo a disposizione delle aree della struttura per il deposito. Siamo davvero dispiaciuti per queste segnalazioni errate nonostante la nostra massima disponibilità a esaudire le vostre richieste che andavano contro il regolamento. Siamo sempre pronti a migliorare nella misura in cui le segnalazioni sono corrette e pertinenti. La ringraziamo e le auguriamo una buona giornata.
