The B&B Santo Stefano is situated in a small village with a population of 300 people, 7 km away from the commercial and artisanal area of Campobasso, the capital of Molise. Our residence is the perfect location for families on the go who will feel right at home here, thanks to the services reserved for children, for a dream vacation in a romantic and discreet environment and in a scenario that the writer Antonio Pascale imagines as the background of a Renaissance painting: the harmoniously represented figure in the foreground and the hilly background that also harmoniously and gently degrades.. the slow degradation of perspective, the sense of movement, albeit mild, that our gaze is forced to make, provides a visual experience that calms and soothes our senses and predisposes us to calmness.
The two-story stone-faced building is sunny and panoramic. On the ground floor, there are two rooms: one is set up as a reception and a sitting area, the other is organized for breakfast; in an intermediate area, there are the kitchen, pantry, and two bathrooms. From the breakfast room, you can access the outdoor area dedicated to the garden and play area, where you can have breakfast outside. Through a driveway, you can access the parking area reserved for guests. On the first floor, there are three rooms for guests, each with a bathroom, along with two rooms with a bathroom reserved for the needs of the B&B owners' family.

The organization and management of the B&B are taken care of by a retired couple, Angela and Peppe. After finishing their period of work in public administrations, they wanted to find better living conditions in a rural village near the urban reality of Campobasso. They wanted to benefit from the advantages offered by a more organized environment. In this context, Angela and Peppe had the opportunity to develop their passion for cultivating and utilizing medicinal plants and producing liqueurs from the fruits of the Molise land. The idea of the B&B originated from their desire to continue their search for an open system of relationships, rich in the experience they gained throughout their lives by participating in various institutional and social initiatives, including international cooperation with African countries.

Place immersed in the Molise countryside, along the tratturo road. A bit far from the center, but precisely for this reason very quiet, a quality essential for us. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they even gave us a small bottle of homemade liqueur. The breakfast varied and with freshly picked seasonal fruit. Definitely recommendable.

Owners Angela and Giuseppe were very kind and welcoming. We stopped by during a long journey and had a good time. Some fruits from their own production were also offered at breakfast. Nice view.

The B&B Santo Stefano is located centrally with respect to the various tourist destinations of Molise. The structure is very welcoming and pleasant. The room was comfortable, and the owners even provided a cot for our 7-year-old son. The owners are the cherry on top. Very kind and helpful, they make you feel at home.

The B&B Santo Stefano is stunning, immersed in nature but at the same time close to the town center. Angela and Giuseppe welcomed us in the best way possible and were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are beautiful and well cared for in every detail, with a breathtaking surrounding landscape. Not to overlook the proximity to the capital city. We will definitely come back!

We arrived at B&B Santo Stefano as pilgrims of the pilgrimage "with wings on our feet" and were warmly and generously welcomed by Angelina and Beppe. The house has been lovingly restored and is tastefully decorated. In the room, there were fresh roses from the large garden. Despite our limited knowledge of Italian, we understood each other well and chatted over a glass of liqueur (basil with mint!). Thank you for the excellent hospitality.

Rural house from the early last century in the countryside of Campobasso, managed by two fantastic people, Angela and Peppe, who immediately made us feel at ease. We were 6 and occupied the three available rooms, spacious with very comfortable beds, large bathroom with shower, maximum cleanliness, excellent breakfast (I gave 8 because there were only cookies from the bakery as a typical product to taste out of curiosity about local foods, but it's in the rules), wonderful panorama complete the description of the structure. But it's the human contact and willingness to dialogue that make the difference compared to hotel structures, that's why I prefer this type of hospitality, because it allows me to get to know people and open up new horizons about their lives and obviously enrich mine, thank you Angela and Peppe! In Santo Stefano, a hamlet of Campobasso, there is an ancient stone dwelling overlooking the gentle Molise hills. If you seek red sunsets, enjoy falling asleep lulled by the crickets' song, picking fruits from the trees in the morning, eating them in a beautiful garden with a view, exchanging pleasant chats in front of a glass of bitter liqueur expertly distilled by the B&B owner, this is the right place! There are not enough words to describe Peppe and Angela, the owners: the kind of people who seem like you've known them for a lifetime but you only meet today for the first time. Generosity, familiarity, attention to the guest and details (the table set with mint flowers for my birthday, figs and apples picked from the tree and presented on the table with a perfect choreography) many attentions, carefully detailed but with natural spontaneity. Peppe, with his shy gaze, hiding acute cleverness, modesty, and the greatness of someone who has never stopped in life. Angela: penetrating eyes, sarcastic, intelligent observer, sincere companion, and welcoming mother. Thank you for these days, today we return home richer because the friendship and attention you have given us remains in our hearts. See you soon.
