Description

Velia Mare Garden is a pleasant and elegant Guest House that offers hospitality in bright rooms furnished with classic style furniture, with private facilities, hairdryer, air conditioning or heating. Some rooms have a terrace, balcony or patio overlooking a garden with roses, jasmine, olive trees, palms, and lemons that provide colors and scents. The rooms have an area of 20-25 square meters, all with en-suite bathroom.

Recently built with a facade of "Pietra Bianca del Conero" and bricks, it is located 200 meters from the marina and the promenade, a 5-minute walk from the beaches of Numana, and not far from the natural bays of Conero: "Spiaggia del Frate" (or "Sotto Santa"), "Spiaggia di Numana Alta" and "Spiaggia di Numana Bassa"; moreover, the house is a 5-minute walk from the historic center, reachable through a picturesque staircase called "La Costarella".

Numana and our Velia Mare are the ideal place for those who love a familiar and welcoming accommodation, to spend a holiday in tranquility, where you will not really miss anything. You can enjoy pleasant days spent in the characteristic Bays of Conero (Sirolo: Spiaggia di San Michele (20 minutes on foot) - Spiaggia Urbani Sirolo (15 min. on foot) - Baia di Portonovo 8 km by car/bus).

Trekking along the wonderful trails of the Conero Regional Park, in search of peace, serenity, and unspoiled nature.

1) Breakfast at the Coffee-Bar: typical Italian, sweet or savory (also for food intolerances) to be consumed at our trusted Coffee-Bar. Upon request, various types of cakes, croissants, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, and cold cuts are available.

2) Breakfast "at Home with us": From mid-September to May, you have the possibility to enjoy BREAKFAST at our establishment. We, the owners, will pamper you with a rich breakfast, including sweet, savory, and protein options (for athletes) as well as options for food intolerances. We offer homemade cakes and jams, yogurt, eggs from our local farmers, cured ham and local cheeses, fresh bread, milk from the Apennines, tea and herbal teas, and seasonal fruit. This breakfast should be requested at the time of booking. (The rates mentioned include accommodation only).

I was born in Numana and I love my country and the Conero, just like this beautiful job of mine, which I do with love and passion, together with my beloved Family, consisting of my husband V. and two children M. V. and G. Since 1994, I have been managing my "Velia Mare" with dedication and passion, to make your stay in Numana pleasant and wonderful. And to try to make you spend rejuvenating days in this corner of paradise, which is still natural and "green", along the coast of Marche.

Our B&B Guesthouse is located within the Conero Regional Park, in Numana, 200 meters from the marina and the sea, a 5-minute walk from the beaches of Numana, Frate Beach, Upper and Lower Numana Beach, and La Spiaggiola. A few minutes' walk or bus ride away are the characteristic natural bays of Conero: "San Michele," Urbani Beach, "Beach of the 2 Sisters," and "Portonovo Bay."

Within a few minutes' walk, you can reach the historic center through a picturesque staircase. Here you can admire the charm of the typical fishing village that Numana once was, strolling through typical streets and enchanting views along the Conero coast.

Nearby, within 8/12 km, you can visit Loreto with its Basilica, Recanati with Leopardi's house, Ancona, and Portonovo Bay with its enchanting beaches nestled in the green of Monte Conero.

We stayed in this guesthouse for only one night. In the afternoon they gave us the keys to the room, but it was still being prepared, so we didn't unload our luggage and went away. At 2 am, upon our return, the door was open and there were no pillows in the room! In the morning we called the owner, explaining our mix-up, and her response was that the guests in the room next to us had probably come in to take our pillows! The owner neither refunded us a minimum part of the expenses incurred, paid in advance, nor offered an extra voucher for breakfast. Terrible, we will not come back! What a pity, the place is beautiful!

We stayed at Velia Mare, the room was narrow and very small, with only a bed and a bathroom. Outside there was a space with a small table and two chairs, adjacent to the main street of Numana, very noisy even during the night. On the bathroom side, it bordered the supermarket, which started making noise very early in the morning. Breakfast was not included and there was nothing in the room to make it, not even a kettle for tea. Parking was not available, but insisting with the manager I managed to park the motorcycle in the passing driveway. For what we paid per night (110 euros), in my modest opinion it wasn't worth it.

Gentile Sig. Parisi, ci dispiace che non abbia trovato la camera e la posizione della struttura di suo gradimento. Però ci teniamo a sottolineare che le nostre camere non sono come Lei le descrive. Sono camere curate, luminose, alcune con balcone e patio. Il bollitore se ce lo avesse chiesto è disponibile. Il parcheggio è disponibile con ns. permesso lungo le vie adiacenti al ns. Affittacamere. Il giardino non è destinato alle moto, ma ad uso e piacere dei nostri Ospiti. Poi non voglio discutere del suo comportamento, poco rispettoso nei nostri confronti. Le auguro una buona giornata. Wonderful stay at Velia Mare Garden. Upon arrival, the lady welcomed us making us feel at home. Very well-kept structure, with elegant furniture. Excellent cleanliness of the room and bathroom, and in the room a pleasant lavender scent. The room features a LED TV and fridge, much appreciated. The balcony of the room overlooks a very well-kept garden, where there are roses and other plants that give pleasant scents and an outdoor space to relax! The pedestrian center of the village is a 2-minute walk away, while the beach is 200 meters away. I thank the lady for her availability to give us advice on places to visit in Numana and her extreme kindness. Highly recommended structure.

I stayed at the Elite Velia Mare in front of the port. Room with balcony overlooking the port. Very convenient location, cross the street and you are at the sea. Take a few steps and you are in the historic center of Numana. Highly recommended.
