Description

The B&B L'Usignolo is a historic residence dating back to the first half of the 19th century. Located on the hills of Ascoli Piceno, it offers a splendid view of the sea. In 2010, it was carefully and attentively renovated, like a country house where one's children grew up. The B&B is completely separate from the rest of the house.

"L'Usignolo" is a charming and refined building, an ancient structure where echoes of the past blend with modern comforts. During the summer, our guests will also be greeted by the delicate song of the nightingale.

Our guests will be able to appreciate the charm of a city rich in history, still little known. Furthermore, they will be able to explore the numerous villages easily accessible from our property and quickly find themselves both in the mountains (Sibillini Mountains, Laga Mountains) and by the sea (San Benedetto del Tronto, Grottammare). They will not miss the opportunity to taste the local culinary delights, such as stuffed olives, cremini, and Anisetta Meletti.

Only high scores for L'Usignolo! Staying here is like being at home, you are pampered from the day of arrival to the day of departure, Marianna is an exceptional host who delights you with her "breakfast" to which the score of 10 is not enough. The friendliness and cordiality make L'Usignolo a unique B&B. Highly recommended 🤗.

Staying at L'Usignolo was a great choice. A very beautiful location, with plenty of outdoor space, all located on a hill a stone's throw from Ascoli. Cozy and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and a friendly and nice owner. You feel good at L'Usignolo.

I really liked the structure for how it was furnished in shabby chic style, which fits well with a countryside yet charming environment. The room, although small, was very well taken care of, with a good bed, mosquito nets, and a clean bathroom with a window. We slept very well. I won't say anything about breakfast because it's worth the trip, spectacular.

We stayed 8 nights at L'Usignolo and it was really very pleasant. The structure is really beautiful and cared for with love and attention by Marianna, a truly exceptional host. The house is in a splendid position, very close to the center of Ascoli (a two-minute drive from the very convenient city parking) and at the same time in the countryside, surrounded by greenery, woods, and cheered by the singing of cicadas and nightingales. The breakfasts are fantastic, a real "treat" to start the day. The attentions, the availability, and above all the friendliness of Marianna made the stay very relaxing in a family atmosphere. It really deserves to be tried.

Stay of only one night, I would say up to expectations. Only downside: the access to the rooms at the top of a staircase, a bit challenging for someone like my wife who has some trouble with one knee.

The Bed and Breakfast "L'Usignolo" is located on a hill, a few kilometers from the Torricella parking lot which is about a hundred meters from Piazza Arringo: basically you park, take the elevator, and you're already in the square! The rooms are on the first floor as the ground floor is occupied by the owner Marianna, a very kind person who is always present on the property. She prepares breakfast (excellent and abundant) which is served under the portico, and if you happen to want an aperitif, you can always arrange it: she is very helpful in this regard. The room is clean and furnished in an original way, there is a "common" fridge available to store water or other food to keep cool; we also had a small column fan, useful given the hot days, external shutters, practical mosquito nets, and internal windows (always left open) kept the room cool as soon as the sun went down. In the garden, in addition to a small sofa with cushions, there is a grill (!) for those who want to have a barbecue instead of going down to dinner in the city. The train station and the post office are just over 5 kilometers away. It was a pleasant discovery: I will definitely return!

Recently built B&B, on the hills around Ascoli Piceno. Fresh and very quiet location, rooms made with care and attention to details. There is a garden available for guests with sun loungers and some games for children. In the nice season, breakfast is served outside with artisanal and tasty products. The owner is attentive, kind, and caring.

On the occasion of a car race on Colle San Marco in which we participated, we booked a few days in this structure, found by chance on the internet. The structure is truly enchanting, a jewel of rare beauty nestled among the green slopes of the hills. The view from the garden surrounding the farmhouse is breathtaking and the sea extends beyond the horizon. The interiors, well-kept and of great class, make the stay feel like home. The owners were helpful and courteous, making our short stay unforgettable. A sincere and deserved compliment to Mrs. Marianna, who cooked splendidly for us. We hope to return, we have no doubt! My family (2 adults and 2 children) were guests here during Easter time. The B&B is located just 5 minutes outside the city, in a quiet and beautiful location. In addition to the wonderful hill and mountain landscape, on clear days you can see all the way to the nearby sea. The entire house has been recently renovated and is now a romantic, well-maintained and stylishly furnished country house. The 2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and living room are spacious and bright, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness. The hosts are helpful, courteous, and very attentive to the well-being of the guests. Every day for breakfast, the hostess prepares freshly made typical delicacies. We will definitely be happy to visit again.

My family, consisting of two adults and two children, stayed at this property during the Easter period. The B&B is located in a place that offers total tranquility and peace. It has been recently renovated with great taste and attention to detail, cared for with love. It also offers a stunning panorama and you can even catch a glimpse of the sea among the hills. The rooms and bathroom are very clean and equipped with all comforts, spacious, well-lit and furnished. The family managing the B&B is very polite, kind, caring, and attentive to every need. The breakfast is prepared exceptionally, all products are homemade with natural and genuine ingredients. Every day there are surprises, all served on a impeccably decorated table. Definitely a place we will gladly return to and recommend to everyone.
