Description

Located 9 km from the Frasassi Caves, considered among "the most beautiful in the world," the B&B is situated in the charming medieval village of Castelletta di Fabriano, which is the capital of the Natural Park Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi.

The interior spaces consist of two rooms with panoramic views of the forest nestled in the gentle curves of the surrounding mountains, and another room with a view of the historic alley. There is also a cozy kitchenette where guests can enjoy breakfast with homemade jams and pastries, as well as sample local products.

Outside, there are two balconies where guests can relax and enjoy the tranquility while immersing themselves in the lush greenery of the dense trees below and those towering over the nearby mountains.

Entertainment options include listening to one's own emotions in the silence and slow passage of time, accompanied by the rhythms dictated by nature, and savoring traditional foods from our region.

Attractions and activities include visits to the Frasassi Caves, the city of Fabriano known for its paper and filigree, and the charming hilltop villages, abbeys, castles, and archaeological areas in the area. I was particularly fascinated by the story, so much so that the next day, I went there with my young daughter, and I assure you it was love at first sight.

The Casina del Vicolo di Sotto is a little gem set in nature and the tranquility of Castelletta, a very pretty mountain hamlet that is very easy to reach and has everything you need to spend moments of relaxation and conviviality (there is a bar with a small grocery shop and an osteria). Sonia's little house is simply delightful! A jewel set in an old village at about 600 m above sea level, surrounded by woods and silence. Inside: warmth and romance. Everything has been restored with love and good taste. We appreciated the care with which the stone house was renovated, preserving period details and the choice of natural materials: wood, stone, natural plaster. The house is in a strategic location for visiting the surrounding hills of the Marche and the many ancient villages, which are splendid. We also rented two electric bikes from a place in Fabriano that delivered them to the B&B and later came to pick them up: a wonderful experience to be closer to the nature of the Marche. The breakfasts, prepared with care every morning by Sonia, are wonderful: homemade cakes, fruit from the trees in the garden, simple and natural products. A beautiful week of vacation that we can only recommend to anyone who loves this kind of holiday: no luxury but a love of nature, art, silence, contemplation, and the rediscovery of slowness. Thank you, Sonia!

Castelletta is a small stone village, as if time had stopped. It offers serenity, tranquility, and silence to regenerate from the daily routine. Sonia hosted us in her renovated B&B with stone and wooden beams, carefully detailed. It has three rooms with a shared bathroom and a smaller room with a private bathroom. The breakfast is excellent, from homemade jams to mint cake. We stayed with family to visit the Frasassi caves and the Valadier temple, which are located 10 km away. We had a great time, thanks to Sonia's kindness, hospitality, and great advice. We will definitely return. Recommended.

We spent two enchanting days. The house is clean and well furnished, immersed in nature with a truly spectacular view. Unprofessional. I booked a room with a private bathroom but they gave me a room with a shared bathroom, so after the first night, I gave up on the stay. The 'La Casina del Vicolo di Sotto' is nice to see but full of architectural barriers, from the narrow staircase to the small bathroom floored with pebbles at risk of slipping, the double bed is for gnomes, the mattress from the '70s, and finding parking is practically impossible. You can't do tourism just with good jams.

The structure is in excellent condition, a completely renovated rustic both on the outside and inside. The location is super panoramic, from our room 'crescent moon' the view is spectacular, well-kept and clean, with exposed beams and characteristic stone walls of the area. The owner Sonia is a sunny person and very helpful to guests' needs. Quiet, peaceful place for those who want to relax and do some excursions or visit the numerous art cities in the area.

We stayed here for one night and upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by both the little village and the very characteristic B&B La Casina del Vicolo di Sotto. The rooms are very nice and cozy, and the cleanliness is excellent. Additionally, we were served a truly good and abundant breakfast! That morning, Mrs. Sonia made a mint cake that needless to say, we finished! I highly recommend the B&B both for Sonia's kindness and for the charming and lovely place. Excellent value for money.

From the window you breathe the majestic forest, silence surrounds you and your eyes fill with beauty. The rooms are spotless and meticulously cared for in every detail. Delightful Bed and Breakfast. The landlady, very kind, welcomed us in this corner of paradise with kindness and generosity, we couldn't ask for more! A stone cottage located in this village perched among the woods made us spend two days in complete relaxation and tranquility. Our room overlooking the woods was fantastic, enjoying a unique panorama in peace and coolness, ideal for regenerating and resting. The breakfast is excellent, to say the least. Sonia prepared royal breakfasts for us, jams made by her, homemade cake, amaretti cream, zero-kilometer plums, all delicious. Even our child appreciated it very much! We will return sooner or later!

This Bed and Breakfast is very nice, a building constructed in stone very unique in a very small and pretty village, where you can breathe an air of peace and tranquility. It is spartan but very well-kept and clean. Mrs. Sonia makes guests feel at home and personally prepares something for breakfast (she also offers homemade jams absolutely worth trying). It is 12 km away (via mountain roads) from the Frasassi Caves, so very convenient.
