Description

Located in the green rolling hills just 6 km from the sea and less than 1 km from the delightful hilltop village of Massignano, "Il Melograno B&B" is a typical old Marche farmhouse which has been recently restored. Surrounded by olive groves, sunflower fields and vineyards, you will be able to unwind and discover the many natural and historical hidden gems of this area in the southern part of the Marche called il Piceno. "Il Melograno" is also an ideal destination for an active holiday as it is close to the beach and to the mountains with plenty of opportunities for lovely walks. We also have mountain-bikes for our guests.

All rooms have a separate main entrance and en-suite bathroom with hairdrier, free wifi, air conditioning and independent heating for the cooler months.

To get the day off to a good start we offer a delicious breakfast with various types of home baked bread (with wholemeal and spelt flours, sunflower seeds, yoghurt), delicious cakes (including a flourless chocolate cake, brownies, muffins), jams and marmalades as well as the wonderful peaches and apricots grown locally, figs and cherries picked in our garden, yoghurt, cereals and fruit juices.

As Annelise is a qualified teacher of Italian with many years' experience in London there is the possibility of Italian language courses ranging from total beginners to advanced.

Our breakfast is carefully prepared in every detail. Annelise comes from Trentino-Alto Adige and has lived in London for many years. Therefore, the breakfast at Melograno, which can be enjoyed in the garden shaded by fig and cherry trees in the summer, is the result of a fusion of traditions that is expressed in delights such as homemade bread with wholemeal flour, yogurt, cereals, and sunflower, sesame, pumpkin seeds. You can also taste exquisite sweets such as brownies and muffins, and soft cakes with original and surprising flavors and aromas. Our specialty is the jams made with peaches and apricots from Piceno and with berries from Alto Adige. In season, you can also taste the cherries and figs from our garden.

We stopped to break our trip, we were lucky not to have found other available accommodations. A lovely place, the couple is friendly and nice, they welcomed us and pampered us like old friends. The breakfast was a surprise, we ate homemade bread and cakes, and the jams were great, also made by the lady with fruits and oranges from the garden. We will come back.

We stayed at this property for the weekend, highly recommended. The property is surrounded by greenery, a few minutes' drive from the beaches, in an oasis of tranquility and peace away from the chaos. Very clean and comfortable room, spectacular hydromassage shower. Special mention to Annelise and Tom, excellent entertainers, who added an extra touch to the stay. Exceptional and plentiful breakfast with homemade products (Tom's bread and Annelise's exquisite sweets and jams), as well as yogurt, cereals, and juices. We will definitely come back, highly recommended. Quality/price ratio 10+.

The bed and breakfast is located on a hill, surrounded by plants, olive trees, orchards, and flowers. It exudes peace, silence, and tranquility. Annelise and Tomaso are two excellent hosts who welcome their guests, give advice, and make you feel at home. The room is tidy, well-furnished, and, above all, equipped with a great mattress. It was cleaned every day and supplied with fresh linens. The highlight is the breakfast, varied and entirely homemade by Annelise with her jams, special sweets, and bread baked by Tomaso. What else to add? Everything perfect. I highly recommend it and hope to have other opportunities to come back.

We stopped for one night during our journey along the Adriatic and we were very pleased with the hospitality of the owners, the cleanliness, and the quality breakfast. Quiet place immersed in the silence of the Piceno countryside; you sleep very well. Also excellent advice given on the restaurant.

My husband and I stayed at 'Il Melograno B&B' for two days. It is located in a wonderful position, surrounded by a charming garden and enveloped in the silence and chirping of cicadas. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean, equipped with everything you need. The homemade breakfast is exquisite and plentiful. Additionally, the owners are two delightful people. We will definitely do everything to go back.

Annalise and Tomaso are two friendly, welcoming, and discreet people. Even though I stayed only one night, they made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast, with homemade products (bread, jams, cakes), is truly rich and tasty. Served in the beautiful garden, in the shade of the trees, it becomes magnificent! The room is very comfortable and pretty.

We only spent one night at the property, but it was enough to understand that Annelise and Tommaso are two special people. Attention to detail, their kindness, their availability make the difference. The property is located on a hill, with a beautiful garden that resembles the French or English countryside. The house is renovated with very cute rooms, equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, hairdryer, linen, and water always in the room. Breakfasts are spectacular, their pastries and bread are exceptional! I would say highly recommended, and certainly if I return to the Marche region, it will be my stop! The Melograno B&B was a very pleasant surprise, it is surrounded by greenery and offers the opportunity to make many excursions in the surroundings. We stayed three nights at this delightful farmhouse on the hills of Marche, not far from the sea, and we had a great time, pampered by the welcoming hospitality of the owners, attentive to every detail and our requests. Legendary breakfasts prepared by Annelise, tasty and plentiful, and valuable directions from Tom on the itineraries to follow to discover the surroundings, truly an experience to be repeated soon!

We stayed for a few days in July and we felt good right from our arrival. We were welcomed by Annalise and Tom, the owners, who made us feel immediately at ease. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. A special mention deserves the breakfast, every morning a different sweet prepared by Annalise, her exquisite jams (excellent bitter orange) enjoyed with the excellent bread prepared by Tom. If you need information to visit the places, turn to Tom with tranquility, he is helpful and very prepared.

Il Melograno B&B is a very well-kept property, extremely clean and its location is great for reaching both the sea and the inland villages. But above all, it is a quiet place, perfect for relaxation, and the courtesy and discreet attentiveness of the owners are priceless.
