Description

A private road lined with oak, broom and other shrubs leads to the entrance gate of Ca’Fabbro, a 19th-century farmhouse restructured in the 1970s and renovated still more recently. The spacious courtyard, with a great old mulberry tree, still has a country look: it recalls the cultivation of silkworms early in the 20th century throughout the ‘Marche’ region. Today the courtyard also serves as a parking area.

The house is situated on a hillside with varying perspectives: the Apennines rise in the south, a line of hills to the north-east slope gently towards the Adriatic. The house itself is surrounded by greenery, replete with places to relax or sit quietly in the shade, along with a lovely swimming pool filled with active oxygen water.

From Ca’Fabbro one can stroll in the woods or on country paths, or take the road a short distance to Pieve di Cagna, an outlying village of the Urbino district.

Urbino itself is less than fifteen minutes away by car, on roads winding through farmland. The ‘ideal city’ of the Renaissance is full of art, history and monuments. The shops propose an interesting blend of alternative and traditional items, including local craftsmanship.

About twenty minutes away by car, along a scenic skyline road, you can also visit the ‘twin’ town of Urbania. The summer palace of the duke of Urbino, the Montefeltro family, lies at its center.

We had a very pleasant stay at Ca Fabbro: the apartment is very spacious, well furnished and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed. The outdoor area is very nice: large swimming pool and spectacular view. Nestled in nature and silence, but conveniently located to visit Urbania, Urbino and the Furlo Gorge.

We had an amazing holiday in Ca' Fabbro. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The pool and garden were fantastic for us to relax with the children. Thanks to Maria and her husband, who were so friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed an unforgettable vacation there.

Very nice place. We stayed here for ten lovely days. Good breakfast, a very very nice host, very good accommodation, nice views, big swimming pool and possibility to sit in shade. It's in the mountains so you need to have a car to get around. You can visit lots of places from this property.

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast in a magnificent location on the hills of Urbino, the city is 10 minutes away and easily reachable. There is a beautiful equipped pool available to guests with a shaded garden and sun loungers. The room is very beautiful, the bed is definitely comfortable even for a tall person like me, spacious with a very well-kept bathroom; all furnished with taste. The breakfast is top-notch with fresh fruit and a different sweet every day. Maria Pia, the owner, is very kind, courteous and always available: when they say that one is doing the job they were born for. A very pleasant presence is also that of a pianist who sometimes, during the day, brightens your stay by playing live music.

I definitely recommend it. The landscape is magnificent, there is a small pool available to guests with a garden and sun loungers. The room is very beautiful with a modern bathroom, all furnished with taste and clean. There is also a small equipped kitchenette available. I recommend the breakfast, all excellent and abundant. Also excellent for a stop to visit Urbino, which is just over 10 minutes away.

Arriving at Ca' Fabbro you are immediately immersed in the ancient beauty of the Montefeltro landscape (beware of TomTom's directions that do not record the exact numbering of Pieve di Cagna) and welcomed by the cordial hospitality of the discreet hosts but always attentive to every detail that can make your stay with them more pleasant. Impeccably cared for rooms, lavender-scented linens, breakfasts fit for a king (a different excellent cake every day), a wonderful panoramic pool available to guests (never too crowded being a B&B), a strategic location not far from Urbino and other places of historical and artistic interest.. What more could you ask for? Even the house dog and cats are friendly with guests here and help leave a beautiful memory. Alessandro and Elena Piccolo.

Located in a wonderful place, although a bit complicated to reach, the bed and breakfast Ca' Fabbro makes up for it thanks to the beauty of the nature in which it is located, the splendid structure of which it is made, and the wonderful courtesy and kindness with which you are welcomed and treated by Pia and Gabriele. Very nice B&B: located on a hill and surrounded by greenery. It is a 10-minute drive from Urbino. The owners Pia and Gabriele are warm people in welcoming guests, but also reserved. With them, one immediately feels at ease. Beautiful, clean, and functional rooms. The pool is spotless and always bathed in sunlight. The breakfast, varied and complete, offers several jams produced by them that are truly very good. We had a really great time.
