Description

Relax and nature in Marche region
In the unspoilt landscape of the valley of San Clemente lies Fontegeloni, a small hamlet full of charm and timeless, where to spend a different holiday, completely surrounded by nature.

The family-run organic farm produces Verdicchio doc grapes, as well as extra virgin olive oil, jams, juices and canned fruit, essential oils of aromatic plants that scent the air and the environments of the farm.

The stone dwellings of the early ' 900 offers 1 farm house with 3 bedrooms with warm tones, inspired by the colours of nature, as well as the 4 apartments, painted in shades of lavander and brooms.

The floors are made of handmade terracotta, the exposed oak wood beams, the antique furniture in local art style. Every small window that opens between the stone walls overlooks the beautiful views of the valleys and the surrounding mountains.

Among the grape pergolas and aromatic flowerbeds is the spacious outdoor swimming pool, refreshing break on hot summer days.

My family has run the Fontegeloni farm since 1970. My father planted the first vineyards and olive groves. Since 1999 I have been running it with great passion with my husband. We are both architects and we have renovated the beautiful stone farmhouses in green building, using traditional materials. We love to welcome our customers as if they were friends or family, dedicating our utmost attention even to the small details or wishes of our guests. Fontegeloni is located at the entrance to the San Clemente Valley, between the villages of Serra San Quirico and Cupramontana. A secret valley, rich in history and beauty, that goes from Vallesina to Mount San Vicino. It extends along the course of the Esinante stream, a tributary of the Esino river, welcoming historical places such as the nearby Abbey of Sant’Elena and the Hermitage of "Frati Bianchi". Starting from our farmhouse there are many excursions, on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, available within a few kilometers to discover the cultural, food and wine, naturalistic treasures of the area.

Fattoria Fontegeloni is a truly unique place! A wonderful place in the middle of nature, with a pool and the possibility to use an outdoor oven. Silvana and Loris are fantastic hosts! Super helpful! Upon arrival, we found freshly harvested fruits and vegetables from the garden, delicious baked goods made by Silvana, and body products always made by Silvana with great care and love for nature. Our vacation at Fattoria Fontegeloni was a unique experience that we will definitely repeat.

This place is paradise. We now dream happy dreams about Le Marche and Fontegeloni after our recent visit with our two kids ages 8 and 15 years. This was an incredibly beautiful property with views of the hills, very comfortable and relaxing with very kind and helpful hosts. They provided a welcome basket filled with fruits from the farm, the bread was warm out of the oven and a delicious cherry tart! Also fresh milk and yogurt from a nearby farm, juices and wine from the farm. You can tell there is lots of attention to details here that just really makes it special. Silvana and Loris were always able to suggest the best restaurants and help us with booking reservations, easy to communicate with. The buildings are perfect, we loved the layout/design of the house with kitchen and bedrooms. The pool is fantastic and much enjoyed by my kids. Everywhere you look is beautiful and magical. We definitely hope to return to stay longer and explore more of the region. I highly recommend you visit this place.

Fattoria Fontegeloni is a structure immersed in the Marche countryside, but close to tourist attractions and more. Around, only nature, peace, silence, and the place has a special and regenerating energy. Also thanks to the warm and welcoming owners. Everything is very clean and tidy, designed with love, harmony, and attention even to the smallest details. It was beautiful to be able to pick fruits and vegetables from their garden as needed. A special mention goes to the welcome kit, all strictly organic, from kitchen products to bathroom products.

Splendid stay. Well-kept structure, tastefully decorated. Exceptional welcome: homemade bread, oil and jams, honey, fresh fruit, local yogurt and milk. Very kind owners make you feel right at home. Always ready to give advice on what to do and where to go. The location is convenient, only the structure is a bit challenging to reach especially in the evening, a country road, sloping, but those who love and choose structures in the green will certainly appreciate it! Because from the top of the hill you can enjoy peace and landscape! A very pleasant holiday in a corner of the Marche region still little explored by mass tourism.

We stayed at Fattoria Fontegeloni to spend some days in total relaxation, it did not disappoint our expectations. Everything perfect, we were immersed in nature among aromatic plants, zero-kilometer vegetable garden, and vineyards with spectacular views. Silvana and Loris, what can I say, the world would be a better place if there were more people like them, very kind, helpful, and nice. On arrival, a welcome basket with bread and cake made by Silvana, a superb cook, and all organic jams. Excellent value for money.

We are just returning from Fattoria Fontegeloni after a week's stay. It is a wonderful place, surrounded by hills and immersed in a peace and tranquility of another time. We stayed in the structure in front of the pool, a tastefully renovated farmhouse with large spaces, super-equipped kitchen, lavender scent in the closets, linen sheets and soft towels. Welcomed with fresh bread and homemade cake, milk, yogurt and great products for breakfast. From all rooms an invaluable view, hills, vineyards... And what about the welcome and kindness of Silvana and Loris? Ready to give advice on the area and to share their passion for this land. Highly recommended.

Wonderful structure, managed with passion by the owners. Ideal for those looking for tranquility and contact with nature, but without sacrificing comfort (air conditioning and dishwasher). Excellent starting point to visit this splendid region. You will find waiting for you products from the garden, homemade bread, a cake, oil, jams of their production, fresh milk, in short everything you need to feel like coming back soon. Beautiful and peaceful swimming pool. And lots of beautiful lavender, which is so Provence!

Very well-kept structure in every detail, very clean and with high-quality linens. The house is equipped with every comfort, including a whirlpool tub. The pool is excellently located, and a vegetable garden offers seasonal products, the area is very quiet but very well served, including a beautiful riverside jogging path, reachable in a few minutes. The manager takes care of the welcome and pays great attention to the needs of the guests.

We have just returned and we feel so much nostalgia. It is a wonderful place with a splendid nature, the decor is detailed, beautiful, clean and welcoming, fresh and restful. Around, the colors and intense scents of thyme, lavender, mint, rosemary, helichrysum know how to welcome the soul gently, relaxing and calming. Our little Pietro was always happy and curious, completely at ease also because children are welcome. There is a wonderful room of games and books all for them, in addition to a beautiful wooden house in the green among the hills. Silvana is a magnificent owner and cook, she takes care of every detail with passion and elegance, her breakfasts are amazing. Top quality pastry. The organic food directly from the farm has a genuine and true taste. Fantastic fruit cakes, with blackberries and ricotta, brioche, pies, homemade bread, chocolate buns, jams and fruits from their land, excellent quality tea and coffee with the moka. Local, organic cheeses and cold cuts. Everything is perfect. Loris is always in action to satisfy every request, always kind, friendly and smiling. What more to ask for... maybe not to leave this place anymore. Thank you.
