Description

The B&B La Lavanda del Borgo, managed by Cristina and family, is a typical local building, where the natural white of the stone predominates.

The structure has two rooms with independent entrances. One is larger with a double bed and the other has two single beds, both with an exclusive bathroom.

The B&B is located at the foot of Mount Conero, on the outskirts of Borgo San Lorenzo (Sirolo), on the road that leads to the ancient springs that supplied the Roman aqueduct (Capo D'Acqua) and then climbs up the slopes of the Monte Colombo hill.

This place, with its ancient flavors, offers various amenities and is immersed in the rich vegetation of the Conero Regional Park.

The Borgo is an ancient rural settlement in Sirolo, 1 km (5-10 minutes on foot) from the medieval center of the town and its beautiful beaches. Originally, Borgo San Lorenzo was built by the families of the stone quarry workers who worked at the Conero quarries. The houses are actually made of this stone material, which gives them a unique appearance. In recent years, the original settlement has undergone significant urban development, also acquiring a supermarket, a bazaar, a rotisserie, and a restaurant-wine bar. As for transportation, there is a bus stop for Ancona (FF. SS), Numana, Porto Recanati, and a shuttle to the beaches of Sirolo, Urbani, and San Michele.

Guests are welcomed by the owners with courtesy and familiarity, and breakfast is served with local and genuine products, offering several choices. Upon request, the B&B can provide customized services to meet specific customer needs. Everything is enjoyed outdoors surrounded by lavender bushes.

The lavender plant (lavandula) is indeed very present in the extensive plant heritage of the garden, whose natural characteristics allow its constant and simple development. As many know, this shrub with a thousand properties, known since ancient times, produces flowers that retain their aroma even after being dried, ideal for scenting and protecting linen, and of which a gift is made.

At La Lavanda del Borgo, relaxation is guaranteed. In addition to the spacious garden, perfect for peaceful walks, the B&B offers the use of a splendid swimming pool from where you can admire a wonderful panorama of the Marche countryside.

For those who wish, Cristina, Luce and the fabulous Milù, are pleased to accommodate your furry friends (dogs).

We ended up here absolutely by chance. My phone broke, I did not book any place to sleep for the night. Oh no! We do it the old-fashioned way, asking someone. We enter a consortium. They give us the number of a B&B but it is full. This B&B, among others, gives us the number of "La Lavanda Del Borgo". We call, they have a place. Overjoyed, they let us check in right away, much earlier than the time. Thank you thank you thank you Cri (the person who manages the B&B) ❤️. By the way, we discovered that the B&Bs in Sirolo help each other out 👏. It starts a fantastic 3-day stay, beautiful apartment, we like the style, it is cool (outside it is very hot) thanks to the natural air of Conero (there are both mosquito nets and air conditioning if needed). The pool is really nice, our kids spent endless hours there. The breakfast is plentiful and we loved the sweets from mom, the fantastic Mrs. Luciana. Dad Lucio is a man from another time, it's wonderful to talk to him. Luce is Cri's daughter, fantastic. In short, we felt like family. Cri gave us very useful advice, she was a great help for many things. One example: we left a beach bag on a minibus returning from the beach that we never thought we would find again. Cri makes a couple of calls and shortly after, they hand us our bag. Thanks also to the "beach establishment of Silvio" for the efficiency. Cri always cheerful, always available, very attached to her family. Beautiful place and Conero and the Marche all to discover. 3 days that will remain in our hearts ❤️. Thank you for everything, also for the ⛺️ 😉. We will see each other again. La Lavanda Del Borgo highly recommended. Cri Giò Michi and Franci.

Excellent bed and breakfast in Sirolo, in a quiet area surrounded by greenery. Spacious and very comfortable room, tastefully furnished, equipped with a convenient wardrobe, refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, and brand new bathroom with spacious shower. The structure has a beautiful swimming pool and garden where you can relax after a morning at the beach. The breakfast, served on the veranda by the very kind owner Cristina, is truly excellent, homemade cakes, muffins, and croissants to start the day off right. Stay beyond expectations!

Strategic position away from the chaos but in 10 minutes on foot you are in the center, nice relaxing pool and shuttle practically right outside the door on call for San Michele. Cristina rating 11. B&B La Lavanda del Borgo was a very pleasant surprise, the location is very convenient for the sea and excursions to Conero. The structure is well taken care of by Cristina, the real strength of this B&B, a person always cheerful and very helpful for assistance and advice to guests. From Cri you feel at home. B&B La Lavanda del Borgo with comfortable, spacious, and clean rooms. Fairly strategic location, about a km from the center. Top breakfast although not very varied, exquisite homemade cakes. Enchanting pool, great for ending the day after the beach. I would recommend to everyone. Cri and little Luce do everything by themselves! Brave and friendly.

I spent 10 wonderful days with my husband in August 2020. The structure was to our liking, the room assigned to us was bright and comfortable, thanks also to the spacious veranda where we could spend pleasant moments of relaxation during the day and evening. The pool is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery and with a view of the hills and Monte Conero. The owner Cristina is very kind and attentive to our needs, especially those related to my food intolerance. In the morning for breakfast, we had a wide selection of homemade cakes. A truly relaxing holiday.

My mom and I almost felt at home, pampered for three days by Cristina and her family! The B&B La Lavanda del Borgo is an oasis of greenery and peace located in a hilly and panoramic area, outside the historic center easily reachable by taking a walk of about twenty minutes or by car. It is worth noting the proximity of a market where you can stock up. Everything is managed in detail: very clean and constantly sanitized accommodation along with common areas, abundant and artisanal breakfast, well-kept garden and pool. Cristina is always available to clarify any doubts and have a chat, making the stay even more pleasant!

Beautiful property in a very green and well-kept environment. Quiet area but a stone's throw from the center. My partner and I stayed a week in August. Not only were we thrilled with Sirolo, the Conero, the Marche region, and the splendid B&B La Lavanda del Borgo, but especially with the welcome given to us by the family of owners, and in particular by Cristina and the family atmosphere she creates. Never intrusive, she is always ready to go the extra mile for guests, creating affection and friendship. We already miss it! Breakfast, view, room, and top-notch pool, but the real added value is getting to know and interact with other guests and locals. For us, it was a dream holiday.

The family-run property is in a great location, quiet yet very convenient to reach coastal locations. Excellent cleanliness. The welcome from Cristina, the owner, and her whole family was wonderful. We really felt at home. Breakfast with various cakes prepared by Cristina's mom (lovely lady) excellent cappuccino. Recommended for families with children for the large garden and the swimming pool.

Christina is a very friendly and attentive host. The breakfast was tailored to our wishes. The room was very clean and spacious, although it did not have a balcony or terrace. We didn't need it, as we spent time at the beach or in the area. Christina organized transportation and sunbeds for us, which was very convenient. Cristina welcomed us to her recently renovated property. Our room was spacious and clean with independent access. Guests have access to a fridge and clotheslines, which are very useful in a seaside area. The breakfast is varied. The property is well-maintained and the owners are very helpful and welcoming.

We stayed at this property during Easter, unfortunately even if the weather was not kind, it was still a pleasant discovery.\n\nI imagine that this property in the summer period is a gem, quiet area 15 minutes walk from the center of Sirolo.\n\nWith my family 2+2 children, we were in the room on the first floor of the main house, really cozy, top cleanliness and above all, something that is not insignificant, the kindness of the managers.\n\nIn the morning, breakfasts are served in a delightful outdoor veranda in the beautiful garden and are rich in homemade cakes, jams, and biscuits, and also cold cuts. There is also the possibility to use the veranda tables in the evening to have dinner with takeaway food, Cristina is very helpful in providing cutlery and necessary items.\n\nFree Wifi and mini fridge available, even though there was no TV in the room, but we were assured that they will be provided by the summer season. We hope there will be another opportunity to return.

The Borgo is very beautiful, renovated with great attention to detail even in the furnishings, the large garden is very well kept. The pool area is beautiful but the sunbeds are unstable, therefore dangerous. We saw 2 people fall due to the sudden closure of the sunbed and a guest confirmed that it happens often. For the first night, we were assigned a room on the ground floor in the renovated building: small but nice, essential furnishings, no TV, modern bathroom with a very large shower box. For the following 4 nights, we were transferred to a large and comfortable room with a spacious private bathroom, TV, and fridge, part of the owners' house, so the access was not independent. Both rooms had a view of the street and consequently were a bit noisy. The owners were very kind and hospitable. In our case, perhaps due to lack of time, no one accompanied us to the room on the second floor of the main house. We managed on our own, but it was a somewhat embarrassing situation. Upon our arrival, we were given a map of the area, but we did not receive information on the existing shuttles to reach the beach, which is not easy for those who have never been to Sirolo. We expected some advice on how to manage the movements better. The linen in the 4 days of stay in the second room was not changed. Breakfast includes cakes and biscuits, homemade jams, all very good, but in our opinion, a savory buffet should be added along with a kettle for preparing tea and herbal teas. Finally, I believe that the breakfast time should be brought forward by at least half an hour (8 am instead of the scheduled 8.30) to be able to reach the beaches early in the morning.

Gentile cliente, innanzi tutto grazie per la recensione ed i complimenti che ci ha fatto. Per quanto riguarda le critiche: 1) I lettini non sono instabili. Lei è caduto perché dopo la pioggia, quando sono stati riaperti, uno o due lettini, non sono stati riaperti nel modo corretto. 2) Per quanto riguarda la biancheria lei ha effettuato un cambio stanza dopo la prima notte e quindi le è stata cambiata 3) Le informazioni sulle navette le diamo a tutti i clienti che ce le chiedono ed inoltre nella zona colazioni sono presenti in bella vista gli orari degli autobus del comune per le spiagge 4) Per quanto riguarda il fatto che non l'abbiamo accompagnata durante il cambio stanza ci deve scusare è stata una nostra mancanza 5) Per quanto riguarda la colazione facciamo tesoro dei suoi consigli.

I spent three days in Sirolo with my daughter; very welcoming B&B, strategically located to reach the local beaches. Convenient shuttle service that, upon request from the very kind Cristina, picks you up and takes you to the beach. Convenient parking on site. The pool area is relaxing and very beautiful, immersed in the well-kept garden. If I were to return to Sirolo, I would choose this B&B again, also for the excellent homemade breakfasts by mom. I am writing this review because I made the reservation, but my son Riccardo and Sara stayed there, so I am reporting what they told me. They were at the B&B Nonna Benilde, with independent entrance and private equipped outdoor corner, a brand new and very clean two-story apartment, very nice, with air conditioning, free WI-FI, parking, and a beautiful pool in the park available to guests. B&B La Lavanda del Borgo is located in a very quiet area but close to all the beaches. Very kind and helpful owners, especially Cristina who was very caring. I think B&B La Lavanda del Borgo is a unique place where you feel pampered and at home. It is a corner of peace with a very well-kept garden and a beautiful pool, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. Cristina and her family are truly very kind, helpful, caring people and always have a smile for all the guests! The breakfast served in a beautiful setting is curated in every detail and Mrs. Luciana prepares delicious and fresh pastries every day (if you suffer from allergies or food intolerances, you will also find something delicious prepared with care especially for you). Passing through the white gate of B&B La Lavanda del Borgo, one finds oneself in a splendid secret garden where beauty reigns supreme: in the shade of a fifty-year-old fig tree, among lavender bushes and carpets of green grass, you are welcomed by the spontaneity and genuineness of Cristina's family, who with discretion and joy will make your vacation days truly unique. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully furnished and always clean. You wake up in the morning, step out onto the veranda and are enveloped by the enchantment of a wonderful place. You enjoy breakfast under a romantic white wooden pergola, pampered by the exquisite sweets that mom Luciana prepares for the guests every day - and I was lucky enough to peek into her recipe notebook. The pool is an incredible added value. The property is located a few steps from the center of the ancient village and its location ensures convenience, but also tranquility. Cristina always ensures that her guests are well and can provide excellent advice on how to enjoy the holiday in Sirolo and its surroundings. You would never want to leave B&B La Lavanda del Borgo and when you get into the car with your packed bags, you are already thinking about the next visit.

We stayed only a few days in this B&B but they were enough to have a full immersion of relaxation. The property is super well-kept and welcoming, it feels like home. Needless to say, the breakfast prepared every day by Luciana is really excellent. The pool is also perfect maybe for days with uncertain weather. Cristina is always available and ready to give advice. Nothing is missing.

A thank you to Cristina and her family for this wonderful weekend spent, B&B La Lavanda del Borgo is a new and very comfortable structure, close to the sea and the center of Sirolo but at the same time surrounded by greenery. My husband and I stayed at this beautiful and well-kept B&B managed by Cristina and Family with professionalism and great passion. 'Super' breakfast with homemade cakes (finger-licking good). Thorough cleaning, kindness, and courtesy of the Managers with the sympathy of Luce and, in addition, a pool in the park for evening relaxation. It was like being with family!

The B&B La Lavanda del Borgo is truly splendid, the rooms are spacious, spotless, tastefully furnished, and with great attention to detail. The pool is set in a beautiful garden cared for with passion and offers a spectacular view of the hills. Excellent breakfast, the homemade pastries made every day by Mrs. Luciana are special. The center of Sirolo can be easily reached on foot (10/15 min) and both shuttles and buses to the different beaches in the area stop just a few meters from the B&B. In addition to all this, the added value was the hospitality and absolute availability of the whole family, especially Cristina. We will definitely come back and recommend this splendid structure to everyone.

Delightful both the place and the owners. To begin with, the location is truly splendid, a well-kept garden with the pool in the green and in the calm, fantastic! It is close to the center but immersed in silence and tranquility, and with internal parking available. The rooms are modern and very clean, truly impeccable. Last but not least, the owners are truly the epitome of kindness... the whole family always available for any request, question, advice, they are the real added value to a place that would already be perfect like this!

The B&B La Lavanda del Borgo is stunning. The estate is immersed in greenery and carefully detailed. It's all perfect. The privacy is absolute and the atmosphere is wonderful. The cleanliness of the indoor and outdoor spaces is absolute. The breakfast is of great quality and very abundant. Cristina makes you feel at home in a second and almost makes you lose the desire to go to the sea. The desire to return remains strong.

A perfect place to spend a holiday in peace and serenity immersed in nature and the simplicity of Sirolo. The B&B La Lavanda del Borgo is located in a perfect area, far from any noise or disturbance: the rooms are simple yet refined; the pool is the perfect setting for this B&B, with a breathtaking view. We chose this B&B after finding it on the internet, and we can say that we couldn't have made a better choice. The welcome and hospitality of Cristina and her family made us feel at home. New rooms, well-furnished and carefully detailed (lavender sachets for guests, for example), quiet place immersed in relaxing and silent greenery, where there is also a nice pool. The breakfasts are fantastic, enhanced by the pastries of Mrs. Luciana who pays attention to the tastes and needs of her guests. Finally, a note of joy: the little Luce who smiles at everyone. We highly recommend this establishment to all those who want to visit the Conero, and we will certainly return! Thanks to Cristina, Paolo, and their family. A hug.

Spent beautiful days by the sea in Sirolo as guests at the family-run B&B 'La Lavanda del Borgo'. The managers are truly kind and welcoming people. The structure is really beautiful with a splendid pool and garden, rich breakfast with exquisite products. In the characteristic village of San Lorenzo from which you can reach the center of Sirolo with a short walk. Thanks to the kindness of Mrs. Cristina and her beautiful family.

The structure is enchanting, well-kept, and very clean! It is an oasis of peace just a few steps from the center, but well served and above all reserved, with a fabulous garden and a very suggestive pool! The welcome is simply perfect! Cristina and her magical family welcome you with the warmth of home, so much cordiality, sympathy, and availability, without ever being intrusive! Very charming B&B with a splendid garden in a strategic position. Exquisite management, it feels like being at home welcomed by a very loving family. Beautiful pool and huge garden. Excellent breakfast on the terrace surrounded by lavender in front of the garden. Magical place. Rating 10 and praise. Price even too low for all that it offers! Congratulations to Cristina and her magical family and thanks also for the lavender sachets gifted to each guest.
