The Bed & Breakfast Il Torchio is located in the peaceful outskirts of Urbino, surrounded by lush green landscapes, offering guests an oasis of peace and serenity. This charming B&B features a spacious and well-maintained garden, where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding nature, as well as a convenient private parking to ensure easy access.

The property consists of two cozy apartments: Pineta and Ripa, ideal for two and four guests respectively. Both apartments are fully furnished and equipped with a functional and modern kitchen, complete with all the necessary appliances to prepare your favorite meals. Additionally, each apartment has exclusive private facilities to ensure maximum comfort during your stay.

The B&B Il Torchio is located just two kilometers from the historic center of Urbino, a city renowned as one of the main centers of the Italian Renaissance. Since 1998, Urbino has been included in the prestigious list of UNESCO World Heritage sites, testifying to its extraordinary historical and artistic significance.

The idea of opening a B&B in my portion of what used to be the family home arose from the desire to offer an ideal refuge to all those who, while wanting to discover the beauty of the Montefeltro territory, do not intend to give up moments of relaxation and tranquility, surrounded by the green hills of Urbino and just a stone's throw away from the historic city center. The name I chose for the B&B (IL TORCHIO) intends to keep alive the memory of my father Alfio's excellent craftsmanship skills, accompanied and supported in this journey by my mother Nilde, known to all as Gina, who spread the Paolini intaglio presses, designed by him in the late 1950s and produced until 1996, all over the world. I dedicate this project to them, for which I have relied on the excellent technical contribution of my eldest daughter, Barbara - an architect, as well as the support and valuable suggestions of my other children, Cecilia and Nicolò. A special thanks to Antonio, my life partner, who helped me make this dream come true.

B&B Torchio is a really pleasant place, equipped with all the comforts needed to spend peaceful days surrounded by greenery, and just a 5-minute drive from the wonderful city of Urbino. It is in an excellent location for visiting Urbino and the surrounding area, and there is also a private and secure parking for those who, like us, travel by motorcycle. Spacious room with a kitchenette, breakfast both sweet and savory, and excellent assistance from the property.

The apartment is equipped with a complete kitchen, including a dishwasher and all the necessary items (even oil and salt). The cleanliness is impeccable, the breakfast is very abundant, also paying attention to any intolerances. The lady is very kind and helpful, even for tourist information. Absolutely recommended.

Our experience at B&B Il Torchio di Urbino was positive. Nothing to complain about. The small apartment was fully equipped. Breakfast was based on what we wanted. I also recommend it because the historical center of Urbino can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

Well-kept bed and breakfast in an optimal location to visit Urbino. Studio apartment equipped with all the amenities, in a quiet and green area. Mrs. Paola, kind and discreet, prepared excellent pastries for breakfast every morning.
