Description

Welcome to Anna B&B, a completely renovated and bright house. Finding me is easy: many customers say that all you need to do is follow the scent of my cakes. I should also mention that I am located five minutes from the Ducal Palace of Urbino and two minutes from the beloved hills of Raphael.

How can you reach me quickly? By taking the highway, exit at FANO whether you are coming from the north or the south. Then take the expressway to Urbino. My B&B is located at the entrance of the Ducal city, in Canavaccio di Urbino. The house is blue, along the road to Urbino, specifically at 79 Nazionale Street in Canavaccio di Urbino.

Our three rooms, all with a private bathroom, TV, and free internet, are brand new. The parking is private and free.

Oh, I almost forgot: all of my cakes and pies (chocolate, jam, lemon, coconut, or Californian, etc.) are made with fruit from my garden and with fresh eggs from nearby farms. Have a good trip and see you soon.

Breakfast

At Anna B&B, breakfast is the most important part of your stay. Guests will be served five, and sometimes six, cakes made by me with genuine ingredients and exclusive recipes passed down for generations.

These cakes come in flavors like chocolate, coffee, jam, coconut, almond, apple, as well as the famous crescia sfogliata from Urbino and meats from Montefeltro.

The breakfast at Anna B&B is more than enough to keep you full until evening without feeling hungry.

Anna's house is nestled in a 1200 sqm garden full of flowers and fruit trees. There are children's games, lizards, and crickets. From here, you can trace a hundred different itineraries to reach in ten minutes by car or even on foot or mountain bike towards the mountains and the sea. We are five minutes from the Ducal Palace of Urbino, two from the hills painted by Raphael, and fifteen from the beaches of Fano. All around are the old villages, and then there is the Furlo Gorge with its royal eagles, the Roman house of Sant'Angelo in Vado, the Golden Bronzes of Pergola, and the traces of the battle between the Carthaginians of Asdrubale and the Romans. And then there is the natural spectacle of the Marmitte dei Giganti of Fossombrone. We could continue, but discovering all this by yourself will be more exciting than any anticipation. We are waiting for you.

I spent 3 nights at Anna's Bed & Breakfast and it was a truly pleasant experience. The property is welcoming, well cared for and set in a quiet area that allows you to relax completely. We had a great time. The house is "dated" and undergoing renovation. The cleanliness is impeccable. The breakfast is varied and abundant. The garden is large and well-kept, although we used it little. The house is adjacent to a busy road, but two of the three rooms have windows facing the garden and not the road.

We can only thank and compliment Mrs. Anna for her kindness and hospitality. Excellent host, it's like being with family. Helpful and discreet, she is a nice lady. The breakfast is super abundant with different cakes and 'crescia marchigiana' (all delicious) made by Anna. The location is good, about 12 minutes by car from Urbino. We wanted to visit Urbino calmly and so we booked at Anna B&B. The accommodation is nice and very clean; Mrs. Anna is delightful, very kind and caring; the breakfast is spectacular: Anna's cakes are super delicious, she also prepared a crescia on the spot that we enjoyed with excellent local ham. What can I say, if you are passing by those parts, make a stop at Mrs. Arduini's b&b. Highly recommended.

The reserved room was a bit small for 3 people, but the very generous breakfast definitely balanced the slight discomfort. The structure is easily reachable and recognizable. Immersed in greenery and in a beautiful, relaxing, and well-kept garden; next to it there is also a small but essential shopping center with a supermarket and a pharmacy. The room is cozy and clean, as well as the bathroom, clean and spacious, with various shelves to place bags and various products. The landlady is caring and attentive even to the needs of children. Breakfast is plentiful, varied, and delicious, with 7 different types of cakes and sweets lovingly prepared by Mrs. Anna, affable and elegant in manner. The only downside was the TV that offered very few visible channels, but perhaps it was a problem related to the bad weather.

We stayed at Anna B&B for two nights. The structure is easily recognizable from the street due to its unmistakable color. The B&B is surrounded by a large garden full of flowers and with ample parking. The room was simply furnished but comfortable. The bathroom has a convenient shower. Guests have access to a large equipped kitchen. Excellent cleanliness. As already reviewed by other guests, the highlight of Anna B&B is the sweets served at breakfast: we were able to choose and enjoy seven types of cakes, all excellent! Anna welcomed us with sympathy and made us feel at home.

Gentile Paolo, grazie per esser stati miei ospiti e per aver apprezzato le bontà del mattino. Mi scuso ancora per il wifi sparito per due giorni ma non per colpa mia. Segnalato a Tim, questa ha trovato e risolto un guasto di rete con i propri tempi. Infine, le camere e il condizionatore. Ogni B&B originale è la casa di una famiglia che viene aperta per ospitare altre famiglie e persone a costi nettamente inferiori ad alberghi o altro. Il B&B ha un'ampiezza di 140 mq ed è circondato da un grande giardino pieno di piante che offrono ombra alla casa garantendo qualche grado in meno per via naturale. Non ho mai scritto che dispongo di condizionatori d'aria ma di ventilatori per le notti più calde. È sempre possibile migliorarsi ma un B&b è bello anche perché è casa, atmosfere, parole, risate, profumo di caffè e cose buone. E qui Paolo, tutto questo lo troverà sempre. Anna.

For those who want to visit Urbino and do not want to stay in the city center for economic reasons, this is the ideal place: 10-15 minutes by car from the city, a few hundred meters away local places to have dinner. Excellent Anna B&B, close to Urbino (10 minutes) and to the other locations in the Metauro valley. 15 minutes from the Furlo gorge. Mrs. Anna is very kind and excellent at preparing breakfast cakes: there were all kinds and for every taste. It was a pleasure to get up to taste them. For dinner on site, two restaurants/pizzerias are a 2 and 5-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

I confirm the previous reviews about the friendliness and goodness of Mrs. Anna's cakes. It's a well-maintained and very clean 60s house. The location is a bit noisy because it is on the main road to Urbino and, despite the new type windows, in summer if you keep them open you can hear the traffic. Recommended for the equidistance between Gola del Furlo, Fossombrone, Urbino.

The cakes and crescia cooked by Anna are spectacular and also the kindness of the owner makes you feel at home. On the nights of the 24th and 25th of April, we went with some friends to visit Urbino and booked at the B&B Anna. We had a great time; the lady is very kind and her breakfast is fantastic! I stayed with my partner at the property on the occasion of the B&B day. Mrs. Anna who runs 'Anna B&B' is truly hospitable and friendly. Her breakfasts are exceptional. All the cakes she made were delicious. There were only 2 of us and we had more than 6 available! Additionally, there were yogurt, fruit juices, fruit, cappuccino, and coffee. On the last day, she prepared the crescia (typical dish from Marche) for us to enjoy on our way back. The room was very warm and welcoming, with branded bath products instead of the usual sachets. What can I say, everything was magnificent. If we pass through that area again, it would be impossible not to return to 'Anna B&B'.
