Le Fontanelle is a brand-new building inaugurated in the spring of 2012.

It's situated near the small town of Poggio, over Portonovo bay.

The building offers a wonderful view, overlooking the splendid Mezzavalle beach.

Some rooms also have a wonderful balcony with panoramics views.

From the balcony seafront, you can enjoy breakfast and admire Mount Conero.

The apartments have been furnished by a local architect with the help of artisans
Furniture is custom-tailored and there is parquet in every room.

I am Anna Maria, the owner of Le Fontanelle Guesthouse.

I have a passion for flowers, especially lavender, which I cultivate as a hobby. In the rooms, you will find lavender soaps made with my own essential oil.

I absolutely love this job. Hosting people from all over the world excites me, and I especially enjoy preparing delicious breakfasts for them.

Le Fontanelle is a small and friendly B&B, where you are not just a customer but truly treated like a guest. The location in Poggio is quiet. The adjacent village street is rarely busy and therefore not disturbing (we had the absolutely quiet room on the garden side). Staying at Le Fontanelle, you don't need to worry about hygiene. It is probably the most well-kept B&B I have experienced in many years. Professionals are at work here! The breakfast is rich, sweet and savory, with homemade jams and cakes, fruit, etc. Everything is served at the table (for those who want to be fully served, it's fantastic; personally, we prefer a bit more buffet self-service). Poggio itself is quiet and away from tourist hustle and bustle, yet central with proximity to the most beautiful Conero beaches. A car is necessary. We always felt comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you!

I stayed at this property 2 years ago and still have a wonderful memory! The owner was very kind, the rooms new and cozy all with a lavender theme. There is also the possibility to buy soaps or lavender air fresheners. I hope to return very soon!
