Located a stone's throw from the centre, Villa Scalabrini is the ideal location for families and couples who want to find the comforts of their own home, for a romantic holiday in a quiet and private environment, particularly for silence lovers and nature calm. Our property is just a 4-minute walk from the train station, with connections to Lake Como and Milan every 30 minutes, as well as a bus stop in front of the villa. At guests' disposal we offer a beautiful garden with solarium full of flowers and ornamental plants, where you can relax and refresh yourself during the summer days. A large, free public car park is available along the entire street, without the possibility of reservation. We have a total of 4 rooms, including a king on the ground floor with private bathroom and direct access to the garden, two double bedrooms with shared bathroom, a studio apartment with private bathroom and kitchen. Free Wi-Fi in common areas and rooms. Sheets and towels are provided by the property. Book with us now, best price guarantee!

We are Aurelio and Daniela, been hosting for 9 years. We have welcomed guests from all over the world, and we really enjoy sharing happy and relaxing moments with our guests, especially during the spring/summer time. We also live in the villa, in an annex, so we are always available for advice and information on the city and the lake, while leaving total freedom to guests during their stay.

Villa Scalabrini is located in Como Camerlata, a peaceful neighborhood just a short walk from the lake. The center of Como is 2 km away and can be easily reached by public transport in just a few minutes. The Camerlata train station is 300 meters from the villa, and there is a bus stop right in front of the building. Nearby, you'll find a large supermarket with a multiplex cinema and the famous Baradello Castle, which offers a panoramic view of the city and the lake. There is free parking available around the property.

Uncomfortable and noisy sofa bed. The temperature was a bit cold and the radiators did not work consistently. The noise from the corridor can be heard in the room.

The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. Crockery, oven, fridge, microwave and kitchen paper and cloths. The bed is very comfortable. It is far from the center of Como but there is a bus that takes you there in 15 minutes. The street has free parking. The staff were friendly by phone, providing us with an entry code to collect the keys.

The hosts are really very nice and accommodating. The apartment is sufficiently large and clean. There are plenty of free parking spaces on the street. For our short stay in Como it was fine.

Villa Scalabrini was perfect for my needs. I wanted a low price and a convenient location for trains to Monza during Grand Prix week, and that's exactly what I got. I was met by the host, who told me where to find supermarkets and restaurants and was lovely. If you're going to Monza, you could do a lot worse than stay here.

We loved our stay and would highly recommend staying at Villa Scalabrini if you’re staying in Como. It’s a beautiful property. Also, having the train station and a bus stop right beside the property made it so easy to get around.

Cleaning was non-existent, as was the owner (never seen), despite reporting the problem: sticky button panels, handles and doors; ashtray with cigarette butts left on the small balcony; sofa bed with brown stains and full of dust. I advise you not to stay during hot periods (no A/C). We spent a sleepless night and by 5 a.m. we were already out. Fortunately it was only one night.

Ci preme solo evidenziare che nei servizi della struttura non è presente l'aria condizionata, pertanto è ragionevole non potersi aspettare tale servizio, in considerazione anche del prezzo pagato e il periodo del soggiorno (114€ per 4 adulti...). I voti purtroppo sembrano riflettere, piuttosto, il malcontento dovuto al caldo eccezionale del mese di agosto, sebbene sia presente un ventilatore in camera. Speriamo che possa trovare una struttura più adatta alle sue esigenze per il suo prossimo soggiorno, invitandola a prestare attenzione alle dotazioni e ai servizi offerti, al fine di evitare un soggiorno non piacevole. We loved the place because of the ambience, very clean and charming villa. Staff was so good and welcoming. Comfortable room, very close to the Lake. Huge private kitchen available in our room and beautiful garden with lots of blooming flowers. Thank you so much for hosting us.

One of those big houses from somewhere in the first half of the 20th century, very well-kept and well-loved. Great guest kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable bed, very nice housekeeper, sweet garden, convenient location near Como Camerlata station, large supermarket nearby.

My hosts were so lovely and made me feel welcome in the space. I was in the first floor suite, which is clean, spacious, and has direct access to the lovely garden. It's also a pretty short walk to the town center, less than an hour (or 15 minutes on the train). I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
