In the heart of Lower Bergamo, inside a splendid Art Nouveau villa, stands The Kraken Inn, a place designed for those seeking more than just a stay. The train station is 1.7 km from the property, the Donizetti Theatre is 1 km away, the Accademia Carrara and Gamec are 700 metres away, and Bergamo Alta is 2.7 km away. The airport (Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport) is 6 km from the property, and there is a paid airport shuttle organised by the property to reach it.

The hotel does NOT have a reception desk, so please advise TIME OF ARRIVAL to avoid unnecessary waiting. The Kraken Inn is a small underwater retreat designed for those who want a relaxing break amidst deep silences and waves of tranquillity. To maintain this serene atmosphere, we only welcome adult guests. Little sailors will stay in port..at least this time!
The Kraken Inn is located in a private, access-controlled neighbourhood, right in the middle of some of the city's oldest and most important historic villages, full of shops, restaurants, cafes and places to enjoy an aperitif or spend a pleasant evening, while retaining the advantages of a separate, quiet setting. Thanks to its strategic location and the possibility of leaving your car at the hotel, you can walk to any place of interest in the two parts of the city: Bergamo Alta and Bergamo Bassa. A few steps away are the city's most important public parks, most of which have been created from the private gardens of the area's historic residences.
