The Sunset View Lake Maggiore Holiday Home is located in the heart of Campagnano, a charming mountain village at an altitude of 600 meters on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore, just a few kilometers from the Swiss border and the well-known towns of Locarno, Lugano, and Bellinzona. It is the perfect choice for those seeking tranquility, privacy, and a genuine connection with nature, while still having easy access to the lake and major tourist attractions, as well as the option to organize day trips to Milan or Switzerland.

The house, fully renovated in August 2024, is part of a historic building from the 1600s overlooking the picturesque square of the village, known as “Il Pozzo.” Three generations have passed through these walls since the 1960s, and according to local tradition, it is here that Giuseppe Solera, the librettist for Giuseppe Verdi, is said to have composed the famous “Va’ Pensiero,” adding an extra layer of charm and history to an already atmospheric stay.

One of the standout features of the accommodation is the spacious private panoramic terrace of 42 square meters, offering a stunning view of the lake and ever-changing sunsets to enjoy comfortably outdoors. The privacy screens ensure maximum seclusion, making this space ideal for leisurely breakfasts, moments of relaxation, or sunset dinners, all immersed in the tranquility of the village and its lush surroundings.

The holiday home occupies the first floor of a two-story building and can be accessed by car up to the entrance for easy loading and unloading. The interiors are tastefully furnished and designed for comfort and functionality: a bright living room of about 15 square meters with direct access to the terrace, a practical and easy-to-open double sofa bed (133 × 192 cm), and a dining table for four. The compact yet fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle, along with salt, sugar, and coffee for immediate needs.

The sleeping area features a bedroom of approximately 16 square meters with a double bed and a single bed, perfect for couples, families, or small groups. The bathroom, about 5 square meters, is equipped with a shower. For those who enjoy spending time indoors, complimentary Wi-Fi, a selection of books with a book crossing service, and some children's games are available in the living room.

Guests also have access to a locked storage space, useful for bicycles, strollers, and luggage, located at the entrance of the building on the ground floor, with the option for storage even in case of late check-out. Regarding parking, there is free public parking next to the house, with a dedicated spot for disabled individuals, as well as additional parking a short distance away along the main road. Approximately 300 meters away, in the upper part of the village, there is also a children's playground, with more parking available nearby.

Pets are allowed, respecting the home's environment. The property is rented out entirely and exclusively, ensuring total privacy and freedom throughout your stay.

For check-in, it is mandatory to send the documents of all guests within 24 hours of arrival; if necessary, identification can also be done via video call, in compliance with TULPS regulations. Remote assistance is always available for recommendations on restaurants, activities, and experiences to enjoy in the area.

Lastly, please note that there are no commercial establishments in the village of Campagnano: it is advisable to bring necessary supplies if arriving in the evening or on public holidays. The nearest supermarket is located in Maccagno, about 5.3 kilometers away.
