For pilgrims on the Via Francigena, this is an ideal location in Pavia, on a street with several cafés and restaurants. Angela is a warm, friendly, and welcoming host who lives at the accommodation, which is very convenient. She replied promptly to any communication and tried her best to accommodate any request. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including kindly lending us bikes which we took on the train to the Oltrepò Pavese for a lovely ride. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, as well as some snacks. A washing machine is available if you wish to launder your clothes. A large basket of fruit is provided for breakfasts and snacks, as well as yoghurt and fruit juice in the small fridge. To top off breakfast, a visit to a local café for an additional coffee and a fresh cornetto is included. There is an outside seating area for relaxing. Just cross the nearby Ponte Coperto over the Ticino River and you are in the historic centre and main shopping area of Pavia. The train station is about a ten-minute walk. There are bus stops in the street which can take you to the station. Residence Il Mille is a great place to stay with a lovely host.

We stayed one night while walking on the Via Francigena. Mrs. Angela is very kind and attentive. The room is spacious, with a TV and a refrigerator. We had tea, coffee, herbal teas, fruit, biscuits, snacks and other items available, as well as a voucher for the next day's breakfast. A few minutes on foot from the center of Pavia and in the B&B area there are also bars and small restaurants. We couldn't ask for more! I hope to have the chance to return!

Very close to the historic center, equipped with every comfort, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The minibar stocked with yogurt, fruit juices and water was much appreciated. The basket of fresh fruit and many snacks available was pleasant, as well as a selection of coffee, tea and herbal teas. For breakfast they offer a voucher to use at one of the three nearby places and we were very satisfied. The owner of the B&B is kind and courteous; she pampered us from arrival to departure. My only comment is that the room and the bathroom could use a bit of refreshing. Recommended.

A really pleasant stay! Ms. Angela was extremely welcoming and caring, always available and attentive to every need. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to feel at home. The beautiful outdoor garden is also ideal for having breakfast in peace and enjoying a moment of relaxation. Highly recommended!

Great location, quiet area, 5 minutes from the covered bridge and 10 minutes from the historic center. There is a private parking lot inside the structure. Mrs. Angela welcomes you, a very kind and caring person. If I have the opportunity to pass through Pavia again, I will definitely return to this structure. I thank you for the hospitality.
