I sent an email to ask about room availability. I received a reply stating that the room I requested was not available for the selected date, but I was offered a double room (I repeat: double) at the price of €69. Later, I was called — presumably by someone from the property (though they manage more than one) — and I was informed that the room reserved for me was called “Country”. I even joked, asking if I needed a horse and a cowboy hat (given the name), and we had a laugh. At the end of the call, my booking was confirmed. On the evening of the 28th, I called the property and was told my room was the “Exotic” one, with two single beds. I asked for clarification, explaining that over the phone I had been told I was booked into the “Country” room, which is a double. The person on the phone was clearly unaware that their colleague, probably trying to be clever, had reassigned the “Country” room and given me the “Exotic” room instead, likely assuming that, as I was alone, a single bed would be fine. After a journey that started at 8 a.m. and ended at 10 p.m., and with an important medical appointment scheduled for the following morning, I had no desire or energy to look for an alternative. Everything I’ve stated is supported by emails from the host and photos of the room’s actual condition. In my opinion, the property is not worth the price charged for the room.

Great residence. The rooms were all clean, the environment nice and especially very close to the center of Pavia and the Hospitals. Possibility of internal parking very useful if you don't want to leave the car with luggage or other items in plain sight.

Spacious, well-furnished and clean room. The property is only 10 minutes away from the central station and not too far from the historic center. If I come back to the city, I will stay with them again.

Cozy and very clean room, nothing to complain about the facility and the staff's courtesy. The only significant flaw is the location of the room where I stayed, too close to the entrance and the reception, so I could hear external voices and conversations that made rest and privacy difficult in the room; it almost felt like having people in the same room. So, if you decide to stay overnight for €60, be careful to request the room farthest from the entrance.

We stayed one night between the 26th and 27th of December. The rooms are very clean, essential and stylish: we got the Moscow room and it's really cute, the environment in general is comfortable and clearly new. Strange detail: there is a wardrobe definitely oversized for two people, but there is no full-length mirror and a desk or some other shelf besides the bedside table where you can put keys and phone. The bathroom is spacious and there is also a hairdryer: too bad for the towels, because there is only one big towel per person, I suggest introducing some more. The breakfast is definitely the weak point: there is only a machine that makes a barely decent coffee and a fridge that is periodically filled with small bottles of water, so it is absolutely necessary to leave the building to have an acceptable breakfast. However, there is a well-known pastry shop at the opposite end of the street where the building is located, so I think that the decision not to invest in breakfast is a strategic choice. Parking is relatively easy: the street is full of white-striped parking spaces and there are several always free. It is about a twenty-minute walk from the center of Pavia and close to two pharmacies and the Policlinico. Too bad for the lack of a supermarket nearby.

We often go to Pavia, we have stayed in several Bed & Breakfasts in the area, but I must say that this one surprised us. The owner is a courteous and kind person, we immediately felt 'at home'. As soon as we entered our room, we immediately noticed the cleanliness and attention to detail. Inside the room, nothing is missing, from the fridge to the jug for hot water with tea bags or chamomile available. The bathroom is large and clean. In short, we will return and we recommend it.

My stay, although limited to one night, still allowed me to appreciate the cleanliness and the extreme attention to detail in every aspect of the room assigned to me.
