Palazzo Eleonora is a Bed & Breakfast located in the historic center of Monasterolo del Castello, a peaceful Italian municipality of just over 1,000 inhabitants in the province of Bergamo. The town is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Endine, in Val Cavallina, about 25km from Bergamo, and a 25-minute drive from "Il Caravaggio" airport in Orio al Serio.
The building dates back to the 17th century and was completely renovated and transformed into a B&B in 2015. The recovery is the result of innate sensitivity and aesthetic sense, which can be immediately perceived by the attention to detail, the perfect combination of ancient and modern, and the choice of the most suitable materials that make everything in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment.
Palazzo Eleonora is currently divided into a B&B and independent apartments. At the center of the building, there is a lovely courtyard, consisting of an open area and a porch, where guests can spend pleasant moments, resting, reading a book, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.

The only negative note is the noise from the heat pumps, which is very annoying. It may be that the noise was less noticeable from other rooms, but from ours, which was a dependency, it was really too loud.
