Description

In a peaceful setting in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy, just minutes from the world-famous resort of Bellagio, is the Nest on the lake Bed and Breakfast.

The building being an ancient fisherman's house dating back to the early 1800's, this Bed and Breakfast consists in an apartment and three rooms all of which directly overlook the Lake of Como, and which is directly in front of the delightful Isola Comacina that is owned by the Academy of Fine Arts of the Brera of Milan, as well as the more famous Punta del Balbianello the property of the FAI, not to mention other fine period villas including the splendid Villa Cassinella
City tax of €1, 5 day per person is NOT included in the price of the room
a 3% bank commission will be applied to credit card payments
Private Car park €15 a day upon request.

Dog welcome with an extra of €40 for stay

Great place and accommodating hosts. The room was pretty basic but sufficient. The view from the balcony couldn’t be better. It was also great to have direct access to the water and breakfast in the property. It would have been nice to have a full length mirror in the room. There’s a cute garden to relax and read a book. There are a couple of beach chairs and canoes to borrow. There is a great restaurant nearby at Hotel Aurora. There’s bus stop and ferry service nearby, but they can be late.

Amazing place to stay if you are visiting Lake Como and want a more quiet and relaxing area outside of the touristy areas. Constantino was amazing from the start, always responding to questions before our arrival quickly and in detail, greeting us when we arrived and giving great recommendations on places to eat and visit. The location on the lake is ideal for amazing uninterrupted views and it's very quiet throughout the mornings and nights. The AC was also incredible and very refreshing after exploring in the heat. Would definitely recommend staying at the Nest and would love to come back for another visit!

We stayed there for 5 nights in October. Our room was adorable with an absolutely stunning view. The breakfast room is an eye-catcher and the breakfast includes more than a regular continental breakfast. The owners are very nice and make you feel welcome. Here you will find peace and relaxation, but are still close enough to explore the area. It's only a 5 min. walk to the next bus stop and a 15 min. drive to Bellagio, 1h to Como. And only a 10 min. walk to the next ferry. You definitely don't need your car here. In Lezzeno you'll find some restaurants. We only visited the 2 closest and loved it. To our host Costantino we have to say: Grazie mille per tutto. Ci vediamo.

We stayed at The Nest on the Lake for three nights in September. It is a charming B&B with lots of Italian charm. Our room was beautiful with a large comfortable bed and with a balcony overlooking the Lake. The owner Costantino and his family were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. All our needs were catered for in a very friendly and helpful manner. The boat which takes you to all locations on Lake Como is a few hundred metres away and easily walkable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting Lake Como.

Incredible Bed and Breakfast, amazing views, super spacious and comfortable room with a direct view of the lake from the terrace. Abundant breakfast while enjoying the wonderful lake views. Possibility to enjoy kayaking and swimming in the lake. The owners are super friendly and approachable. Without a doubt the best Bed and Breakfast to enjoy this wonderful Lake Como.

We stayed this weekend in this structure by the lake in the town of Lezzeno. A few kilometers from Bellagio, it offers a charming view and tranquility on Lake Como. The managers are very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is family-friendly but at the same time very discreet.

This will be our second stay at Nest on the Lake. It is so beautiful there and the bed and breakfast is right on the lake. I mean right there. The lake is 2 or 3 steps away. The rooms were very clean and the owners very helpful and accommodating. They speak several languages and will give suggestions where to visit if asked. The price is very comparable to other places and the breakfast was more than adequate to start the day. We loved the laid back atmosphere in Lezzeno, so we are going back later this year. Last time we went in October and the weather was very good (still in low to middle 20's).
