Description
"L'Isolo" is a small green island on the right bank of the Mincio river, along the cycle path E6 Peschiera-Mantova in the homonymous Natural Park.
The sparkling lights of the fireflies at the end of Spring, the sound of the woodpecker, the kingfisher, the heron who reaches our small lake at the sunrise, the passage of cormorants, give to our location colors, events, and natural landscapes, which are different in every season.
Borghetto, Castellaro, Mantua, Lake Garda, the Morainic hills, Verona with its Capitorale library, many UNESCO sites as Peschiera del Garda and ather more, Venice with its carnival, Villafranca di Verona with its Museo Nicolis, they are easy to reach destinations.
Many initiatives: the running, the walking and marathons, the fishing competitions along the Mincio banks (the next will be in 2020), they are organized in the surroundings.
The rooms are comfortable, they have been furnished combining antique family and new design’s pieces of furniture.
We have readapted some of grandparents' work tools, in order to give them some new destination.
Wifi, air conditioning and floor heating.
Whenever the weather would permit it, we will give you the breakfast outside, so you can relax watching all those pretty natural corners of our large garden.
Parking is located inside the fence.
An open-space and an apartment are also available, both with kitchen.
The site was an old water mill built during the XI century. An ancient millstone and other objects are the witnesses of all these past centuries.
The famous painter Angelo Inganni during 1834 painted L’Isolo, the Mincio river and the Monzambano hill during a battle of the Risorgimento period, it is exhibited at the Military Museum in Vienna-A (Heeresgeschichtliches Museum).

What can I say about my breakfast? Well, I don't know. "Try it to believe it" is too presumptuous and brings too many surprises. And if it doesn't give its best, it's serious trouble!
The only thing I can say is: I give it my all, with good, simple, genuine ingredients. But the most important thing is that cooking is my passion. I can't promise perfection, but friends always enjoy eating at my place.

If you want to stay in a relaxing place far from the chaos, this place is perfect. The structure is only a few minutes' drive from the lake and is located at the foot of the small village of Monzambano, a place where it seems like you've gone back in time. The accommodation was comfortable and equipped with all the comforts, the structure is well-kept and has a comfortable pool in a well-kept park. What about the breakfast buffet, impeccable. Mrs. Cinzia gives many useful tips on the stay, also recommending destinations and places to dine. Politeness is a priority here. Thank you again. Goodbye!

Structure excellently managed by Mrs. Cinzia who will welcome you with uncommon availability and attention. Spacious and pleasant rooms both for internal and especially external use (ours overlooked the delightful pond inside the well-kept garden, with sun loungers and a table with chairs available). The breakfasts are excellent and abundant, with particular attention to offering local delicacies. It will certainly be a pleasure to return. Thank you and see you next time!

Siamo appena rientrati da un bellissimo we in occasione del B&Bday. Siamo stati benissimo e Cinzia è una persona molto disponibile che sa fare sentire gli ospiti a proprio agio. La struttura è molto bella, nuova e soprattutto pulita. Colazione ottima. Marmellate ottime. Grazie ancora a Cinzia e a rivederci presto.

L'Isolo è veramente un bed and breakfast perfetto! Il posto bellissimo in un parco sul fiume Mincio, la struttura ristrutturata nuovissima e tanto curata, sia a livello ecologico e risparmio energetico che a livello di design. una colazione a buffet fantastica e siccome altri ospiti si sono spaventati dalle brutte previsioni del tempo fatta solo per noi con una grandissima scelta tra dolce e salato, tanti prodotti in casa dalla signora Cinzia, la proprietaria, una persona squisita. Tutto perfetto e sicuramente un posto dove tornare.

Recensire questa struttura è un piacere. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e speriamo di ritornarci al più presto. Valore aggiunto a questa struttura sono: La gentilezza e disponibilità di chi gestisce la struttura, ti accoglie nel B&B come un amico che viene accolto in casa. Le stanze sono pulitissime e anche le bottigliette di acqua per gli ospiti sono quella coccola che ti fa sorridere. Ottimo bagno spazioso e una buona doccia. Il silenzio e il giardino del B&B. Avete voglia di nascondervi dalla città? Venite qui, sarete così nascosti che neanche lo stress vi troverà. La colazione, ottima e abbondante, una coccola casalinga come le colazioni della pubblicità. Non ultima ma per noi indispensabile, l'uso delle biciclette. Fuori dal cancello, la pista ciclabile e via a seguire il corso del fiume con calma e senza fretta, perché lo sport a volte può essere prendersi il tempo giusto.

Ho soggiornato all'Isolo con mio marito e le nostre tre bambine. Siamo stati ospiti della signora Cinzia per una sola notte, ma l'esperienza è stata davvero perfetta, tanto che stiamo già pensando a quando potremo ritornare. Abbiamo avuto a disposizione due ampie camere comunicanti e un bagno: gli ambienti, pulitissimi, sono arredati con gusto e attenzione ai dettagli. Anche gli spazi esterni meritano di essere ricordati per la loro bellezza, frutto dell'unione tra il lavoro accurato dell'uomo e i doni della natura. Ottima pure la colazione.

Questo è un lavoro continuo che ad ogni stagione cambia, ci aiuta l'ambiente e la Natura, è molto faticoso, ma il ritorno sono le molte soddisfazioni che riceviamo. Insieme ad amici, siamo stati ospiti del B&B L'Isolo per due notti (27 e 28 febbraio 2015), occupando tutte e quattro le stanze al piano terra. L'iniziale impressione di benessere e di tranquillità provata all'arrivo alla vista del posto si è successivamente arricchita della attenta e premurosa ospitalità della signora Cinzia, la persona che gestisce la struttura.
Le gustose colazioni (con dolci per lo più preparati dalla signora Cinzia con ingredienti genuini), le belle e ariose stanze, l'impeccabile pulizia degli ambienti e, non da ultimo, i letti veramente comodi, concorrono ad assicurare una piacevole e rilassata permanenza.
Particolarmente utili anche le indicazioni forniteci riguardo la possibilità di gustare nei dintorni piatti tipici del posto a prezzi ragionevoli: le trattorie indicateci, ove poi abbiamo effettivamente cenato, hanno pienamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative.
In definitiva possiamo certamente affermare che il B&B L'Isolo di Monzambano, anche per le attenzioni riservateci dalla signora Cinzia, è il posto ideale per un piacevole soggiorno nella zona.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa splendida struttura per una notte con i nostri due bambini di 3 e 7 anni. L'accoglienza è stata eccellente, la proprietaria ci ha offerto la colazione e ci ha mostrato le stanze: per noi aveva riservato quasi un appartamento, due camere matrimoniali comunicanti, con bagno. Le stanze sono arredate con estremo gusto e la pulizia è impeccabile. L'isolo è immerso in un giardino recintato attrezzato anche per mangiare all'aperto, corredato di piscina e laghetto. Il luogo è ideale anche per i bambini che possono muoversi liberamente e a cui vengono riservate particolari attenzioni anche per la colazione. Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole trascorrere giornate in tranquillità e a due passi da diverse mete turistiche.

The B&B is beautiful situated in an old water mil between the river Mincio an a channel at the edge of a natural reserve.
This area in the south of the Lake Garda was not taken into account much in the past by us but is really worth a visit.
You find nice smooth hills with wineyards and pretty nice small villages, connected by small roads, suitable to be visitd by bike.
The host was very friendly and commited to give us a pleasent time. The rooms are tastefully decorated and are equipped with some antique furniture. The breakfast is handmade to an extend, that you will rarely find again: lots of cakes, bisquits, marmelades, fruit.
So overall really worth a visit.

Bellissima struttura, curata nei particolari, ne ho girate 3/4 nella zona ma devo dire che L'Isolo è quella in cui mi sono trovato meglio.
Un grazie particolare a Cinzia che da subito ci ha fatto sentire a casa e coccolati con le sue prelibatezze, la colazione è un vero trionfo culinario, con dolci e salati, per tutti i gusti.
Ideale per i bambini con possibilità di lunghe passeggiate sulle sponde del fiume Mincio a stretto contatto con la natura.
Ci torneremo!

È un luogo incantevole immerso nella natura sulle rive del fiume Mincio.
Provi una sensazione bellissima; il tempo prende il ritmo della vacanza rilassante e rigenerante. Cinzia ti accoglie con genuina familiarità e simpatia. La casa è nuova spaziosa, molto curata, e vi assicuro pulitissima in ogni angolo. La camera da accesso direttamente sul prato o sul giardino dove puoi scegliere tra ampi spazi di ombra e sole per lasciarti andare volentieri al dolce far nulla in piena libertà. Il paesaggio tutt'intorno è solo natura, le lunghe passeggiate, i giri in bici su percorsi pianeggianti sulle rive del fiume, vorresti che il tempo si fermasse..
non vedo l'ora di avere qualche giorno di vacanza per tornarci.
