"L'Isolo" is a small green island on the right bank of the Mincio river, along the cycle path E6 Peschiera-Mantova in the homonymous Natural Park.
The sparkling lights of the fireflies at the end of Spring, the sound of the woodpecker, the kingfisher, the heron who reaches our small lake at the sunrise, the passage of cormorants, give to our location colors, events, and natural landscapes, which are different in every season.
Borghetto, Castellaro, Mantua, Lake Garda, the Morainic hills, Verona with its Capitorale library, many UNESCO sites as Peschiera del Garda and ather more, Venice with its carnival, Villafranca di Verona with its Museo Nicolis, they are easy to reach destinations.
Many initiatives: the running, the walking and marathons, the fishing competitions along the Mincio banks (the next will be in 2020), they are organized in the surroundings.
The rooms are comfortable, they have been furnished combining antique family and new design’s pieces of furniture.
We have readapted some of grandparents' work tools, in order to give them some new destination.
Wifi, air conditioning and floor heating.
Whenever the weather would permit it, we will give you the breakfast outside, so you can relax watching all those pretty natural corners of our large garden.
Parking is located inside the fence.
An open-space and an apartment are also available, both with kitchen.
The site was an old water mill built during the XI century. An ancient millstone and other objects are the witnesses of all these past centuries.
The famous painter Angelo Inganni during 1834 painted L’Isolo, the Mincio river and the Monzambano hill during a battle of the Risorgimento period, it is exhibited at the Military Museum in Vienna-A (Heeresgeschichtliches Museum).

The 'Bamboo' room at Isolo was very large and perfect for accommodating a family with two children. The owner is very professional and welcomed us warmly. The view from the room and the pool was superb. Extras: a supermarket next door, a beautiful heated pool and a charging station in the parking lot with competitive rates.

If you want to stay in a relaxing place far from the chaos, this place is perfect. The structure is only a few minutes' drive from the lake and is located at the foot of the small village of Monzambano, a place where it seems like you've gone back in time. The accommodation was comfortable and equipped with all the comforts, the structure is well-kept and has a comfortable pool in a well-kept park. What about the breakfast buffet, impeccable. Structure excellently managed by Mrs. Cinzia who will welcome you with uncommon availability and attention. Spacious and pleasant rooms both for internal and especially external use (ours overlooked the delightful pond inside the well-kept garden, with sun loungers and a table with chairs available). The breakfasts are excellent and abundant, with particular attention to offering local delicacies. It will certainly be a pleasure to return. Thank you and see you next time!

The beautiful place in a park on the Mincio river, the newly renovated structure is very well taken care of, both in terms of ecological and energy-saving aspects and in terms of design. A fantastic buffet breakfast and since other guests were scared by the bad weather forecast, it was made only for us with a huge selection of sweet and savory items, many homemade products by Mrs. Cinzia, the owner, a delightful person. Everything was perfect and definitely a place to return to.

Reviewing this property is a pleasure. We had a great time and hope to return soon. The added value to this property is: The kindness and availability of those who manage the property, they welcome you to the B&B as a friend welcomed into a home. The rooms are very clean and even the water bottles for guests are that little treat that makes you smile. Excellent spacious bathroom and a good shower. The peace and quiet of the B&B garden. Do you feel like hiding from the city? Come here, you will be so hidden that not even stress will find you. The breakfast, excellent and abundant, a homely treat like the breakfasts in commercials. Last but not least, essential for us, the use of bicycles. Outside the gate, the cycle path and off you go following the course of the river calmly and without haste, because sometimes sport can be taking the right time.\n\nTo go back. Thanks to the B&B for this weekend.

I stayed at L'Isolo with my husband and our three daughters. We were guests of Mrs. Cinzia for just one night, but the experience was truly perfect, so much so that we are already thinking about when we can come back. We had two large connecting rooms and a bathroom at our disposal: the environments, very clean, are furnished with taste and attention to detail. Even the outdoor spaces deserve to be remembered for their beauty, a result of the careful work of man and the gifts of nature. The breakfast was also excellent.

Together with friends, we were guests at the B&B L'Isolo for two nights (27th and 28th February 2015), occupying all four rooms on the ground floor. The initial feeling of well-being and tranquility experienced upon arrival at the place was subsequently enriched by the attentive and caring hospitality of Mrs. Cinzia, the person managing the structure.
The tasty breakfasts (mostly prepared by Mrs. Cinzia with genuine ingredients), the beautiful and airy rooms, the impeccable cleanliness of the surroundings, and, not least, the truly comfortable beds, all contribute to ensuring a pleasant and relaxed stay.
Also particularly useful were the indications provided to us regarding the possibility of enjoying typical dishes of the area at reasonable prices nearby: the recommended trattorias, where we then actually dined, fully met our expectations.
In conclusion, we can certainly affirm that the B&B L'Isolo in Monzambano, also thanks to the attentions received from Mrs. Cinzia, is the ideal place for a pleasant stay in the area.

We stayed in this beautiful structure for one night with our two children aged 3 and 7. The welcome was excellent, the owner offered us breakfast and showed us the rooms: for us she had reserved almost an apartment, two communicating double rooms with a bathroom. The rooms are furnished with extreme taste and the cleanliness is impeccable. L'Isolo is surrounded by a fenced garden equipped for outdoor dining, complete with a swimming pool and a pond. The place is also ideal for children who can move freely and to whom special attention is given even for breakfast. Absolutely recommended for those who want to spend days in tranquility and a stone's throw from several tourist destinations.

The B&B is beautifully situated in an old water mill between the Mincio River and a channel at the edge of a natural reserve. This area in the south of Lake Garda was not taken into account much in the past by us but is really worth a visit. You find nice smooth hills with vineyards and pretty nice small villages, connected by small roads, suitable to be visited by bike. The host was very friendly and committed to giving us a pleasant time. The rooms are tastefully decorated and are equipped with some antique furniture. The breakfast is handmade to an extent that you will rarely find again: lots of cakes, biscuits, marmalades, and fruit.

Beautiful structure, taken care of in detail. I have visited three or four in the area, but I must say that L'Isolo is the one where I felt the best. A special thanks to Cinzia, who immediately made us feel at home and pampered us with her delicacies. The breakfast is a true culinary triumph, with sweet and savory options for all tastes. It is a lovely place surrounded by nature on the banks of the Mincio River. You experience a beautiful feeling; time takes the rhythm of a relaxing and regenerating vacation. Cinzia welcomes you with genuine familiarity and kindness. The house is new, spacious, very well-kept, and I assure you it is spotless in every corner. The room has direct access to the lawn or the garden where you can choose between large shaded and sunny areas to freely indulge in sweet doing nothing. The landscape all around is just nature, the long walks, the bike rides on flat paths along the riverbanks, you wish time would stop. I can’t wait to have a few days of vacation to go back.
