The bed and breakfast is located in a quiet area, near the SS33 Sempione road, from where you can quickly reach the A8 and A26 highways. Malpensa Airport is 17 kilometers away. In addition, the EXPO 2015 site and the Rho fair are easily accessible.
Milan, a city rich in art and business, is only 55 kilometers away. Sesto is also an important railway junction: once you leave your car at the bed and breakfast, you can reach the train station on foot in no time, taking a leisurely walk along the banks of the Ticino River. By train, it is easy to reach the aforementioned fairs and the city of Milan.
From Sesto, you can take many other excursions to art places and UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the Sacromonte di Varese. Or, by going up Lake Maggiore, you can visit Arona with its imposing statue of San Carlo Borromeo and the renowned Borromeo Islands. There are also lesser-known but equally charming places, such as the Hermitage of Santa Caterina overlooking the lake and the Rocca d'Angera with its doll museum.
Furthermore, there are walking and cycling trails, bike paths around the lakes, opportunities for horseback riding, and the chance to immerse yourself in the Ticino Park or the river with canoes.

The B&B "La Colomba" is a clean and comfortable facility, the recently renovated rooms and bathroom are spacious and bright. The manager Emilio is a very helpful and friendly person. I highly recommend this property.

Tranquility, Cleanliness and Courtesy are the words that describe this B&B. It is located in a very quiet area near the center of Sesto Calende. The rooms have been recently renovated while maintaining some ancient elements. Top cleanliness: we walked in white socks throughout the stay! Mr. Emilio, the manager, is an exquisite and very courteous person, so much so that we stopped to chat until late at night. Abundant breakfast. Absolutely recommended!
