In a small village of '700 our bed and breakfast overlooking the magical beauty of Lake Maggiore. We rent only one room, it is a deliberate choice because the uniqueness of this place is to be enjoyed at the mere sound of nature. Our desire is to
share this pleasure pacifying with each of you, season after season. Simply.

Our breakfast are tailored on you. When you arrive we will ask you which one is your favourite one, then you could have typical brioche and cappuccino or eggs and bacon, bread and ham and cheese. But if you are vegatarian or vegan we use a particolar attention.

Area hills

Laveno is situated on a hill with a view of Lake Maggiore. It has two train stations, Nord and Stato, which connect to Milan and Switzerland, a ferry to Intra, and a cable car to Sasso del Ferro, where you can go hang gliding and paragliding.

The town offers all the necessary services, such as supermarkets, fashion and furniture stores, banks, bike rentals, and electric car rentals.

Our B&B only has one double room with a balcony, and the option to add a sofa bed for children. It has its own separate entrance.

There is a garden and various areas for reading and relaxation.

Several restaurants have special agreements with us.

Ideal for extended stays due to the wide range of activities available.

Very nice hosts! Great shuttle service to/from the train station, because with a backpack the way is not long, but a bit tiring. (Without luggage, it's a nice walk). The view is enchanting, if not reduced to a few meters by low-hanging clouds and fog... but that's the risk in the Lake District! The room is large, but a bit noisy... Overall definitely recommended!

Nadia is a welcoming and helpful host; the room is decorated with refined and elegant taste and the breakfast is simple, rich, and very good (we hope that someone continues the tradition of rye bread!); the location of the B&B is a bit far from the center of Laveno but the tranquility of the place and the panoramic view of Lake Maggiore, which is nothing short of spectacular, are worth the winding road.

At the Bed and Breakfast 'La Camera e il Lago' one reconnects with the four elements: water, air, earth, and fire. Water: what water! There is a stunning view of Lake Maggiore, I often stood for long periods looking out of the windows. Then, at sunset, magic. Air: certainly not lacking on the hill of Frazione Monteggia, one can breathe. Earth: so much greenery, the desire to walk barefoot and taste products from the garden. Fire: the sun and its games are reflected on the water's surface, and the reflections can also be enjoyed from the Bed and Breakfast with that view! Regenerating. The stay at the Bed and Breakfast 'La Camera e il Lago' was exactly what I needed.

Wonderful place, ideally located, very nice owner, large balcony, spectacular view. The only drawback is car parking as streets are narrow and nearby parking areas are sparse but the place is great and the owner is top! We spend a wonderful time there. Thank you very much, Nadia!

La Camera e il Lago offers an excellent welcome (the host, Nadia, speaks very good French and is very sociable) - magnificent view of the lake - the access to the house/city on foot is to be reserved for people with good physical condition (the descent and ascent on the "pedestrian path" can be challenging).

We had a very good time at La Camera e il Lago, Mrs. Nadia, the owner, is very kind. The building is very old and there is a truly beautiful lake view. The room is very nice and comfortable.

Overall nice. The toilet/shower was a bit dated, but the bedroom was a great size and beautifully presented. We had a nice size and good quality breakfast. Nadia was a lovely host. No credit card facility was a downfall as paying for the deposit from abroad would have cost us banking charges. Fortunately my sister bac the deposit from Italy.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. The view is quite breathtaking and from all angles around the delightful balcony (complete with hammock). The room itself is spacious and decorated in a gorgeous rustic style. Nadia was the perfect host providing cake and prosecco to celebrate our wedding anniversary. She explained all the good things to do on a short stay and made us feel very welcome. The walk into town was good exercise, very pretty and not too long. Thank you so much. We had a very nice time in Lavena Mombello. This Bed and Breakfast is very unique and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing is that the Wi-Fi was not available during our stay. We can recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

The view from the room and the balcony is breathtaking! Nadia is very caring and offers a personalized breakfast. Very well positioned on the 'wild side of Lake Maggiore' with a view of the snowy peaks. The only downside is the lack of parking, you park along the road about fifty meters below the B&B. We even had a scratch on the car 5 minutes before leaving, while the Italian car parked next to it remained intact. Despite this downside, we highly recommend this B&B.

We were hosted at this property for a weekend, the view it offers is truly breathtaking, the room is clean and comfortable. The owner was very kind and helpful, a bit more signage to get there and a bit more parking are missing but it's on a hill so it can't be done differently.

We stayed for a short period but we had a great time. The room is located in an elevated position, reachable after a not very easy short walk, but once inside you can enjoy an exceptional view. A wonderful surprise this La Camera e il Lago! Photos are often better than reality and here it is not the case. Breathtaking view, tranquility, beauty. I enjoyed my break on the hammock on the balcony facing the lake with my head in the stars. The room is tastefully decorated, very beautiful. The bedding is very good. The owner Nadia is adorable. Sympathy, kindness, delicacy, discretion, availability and simplicity resemble her. And Nadia's black bread from breakfast is the best I've eaten during my stay in Italy. If time could have stretched, we would have stayed a little longer in this unique little place. A real delight.

The owner of the B&B is exquisite, incredibly kind and helpful. The B&B is located on the hills behind Laveno; from the windows of the room (very cute) you can enjoy a fantastic view of the lake.
