Born in Milan and adopted by Australia, I have returned to Milan to open the gate of my Cottage with a garden to the visitors of Expo 2015.

As a professional multilingual tour guide, with over thirty years of experience in the international tourism industry, I have always understood and valued the needs of those who were far from home, whether on a business trip or for leisure.

From Irish castles to American motels, from New Zealand B&Bs to Patagonian estancias, I have personally experienced hotels of every star and structure, gaining a diverse experience in the art of hospitality.

Place to return to and recommend. Pleasant and very helpful host. Small independent house with a few rooms, very clean. Breakfast was abundant and well prepared despite the absence of fresh products, but we really did not miss them. The metro stop is a few minutes' walk away and is very convenient for reaching the center. Ten minutes away is the Isola district, full of bars and restaurants. A precious touch: on request and if available, a parking space in the courtyard. What can I say: top! Thanks Stefania and see you soon.

Go there with your eyes closed! We spent four exceptional days in Milan thanks to Stefania, who is incredibly kind. She gave us great advice for our visits in and around Milan. As for the house, it's very cozy, cute and charming. You have everything you need. Nothing is missing. The B&B is excellently located: buses and the metro very close, a small supermarket nearby, in short, everything is there. We will return to Milan, that's for sure. A lovely encounter with Stefania!

Perfect stay at K34, made even more special by the B&B owner: Stefania is amazing, thanks to her authenticity and warm welcome. The room is cozy, clean and well cared for. Very convenient to have a parking space inside the property. The location is strategic: a 15-minute walk from the Alcatraz nightclub and only about 100 meters from the Zara metro stop. Generous breakfast, mainly sweet but savory available on request. Highly recommended; heartfelt thanks to Stefania, her kindness and helpfulness truly make the difference!

The host is fantastic. A lovely person. They make an amazing cappuccino. The room is spacious. The air conditioning makes it as comfortable as you want it to be. It is very quiet, so you can sleep like a baby. We'll definitely be back.

K34 is a wonderful bed and breakfast in the heart of Milan. It is exactly as described, immaculate and comfortable. It is a short walk (about 10-15 minutes) from the train station which makes it very convenient. It is also walkable to everything - (local Metro is also an option) - all of the major tourist attractions and a wonderful neighborhood filled with great restaurant options (recommended by our hostess). Stefania is the ultimate host - she was kind, generous, responsive and extremely helpful, even going out of her way to purchase lots of gluten free foods for me to enjoy with breakfast and as snacks throughout our stay. We enjoyed her company tremendously. Stefania seemed to enjoy sharing local history and culture with us which we could not get enough of. We came to Milan to stay in a B&B, we left having made a new friend. Thank you for our favorite memories of our trip, Stefania.

I chose this K34 because it is very close to Alcatraz, where we had an event, and the choice was perfect. The facility is very well maintained, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, spotless and on a quiet street. The metro nearby made commuting easy. Cristina is a delightful and accommodating host, she pampered us with a dedicated breakfast given our gluten intolerance, which is not something everyone does. If I return to Milan, it will definitely be my choice and I will recommend it to my friends.

K34 Milano is a small bed and breakfast, with, (I believe), 3 available rooms. Host Stephania is wonderful, warmly welcoming guests and providing useful information about Milan attractions and dining. I should add, a fresh, hearty, and generous breakfast. The facility is nicely decorated, but as some rooms are on the smaller side, it is likely not ideal for a large and tall group of people.

This was a great place to stay for my trip to Italy. Stefania adds the personal touch to hospitality in taking good care of guests. This is also a great location, near the metro and a bus can take you to Milano Centrale, yet not a busy neighborhood. I did many trips around Italy using the trains from Centrale so it was very convenient and comfortable for me.

Stefania provides an exceptional B&B experience in central Milan. Very accessible with good metro access to the city centre and within walking distance to good restaurants and the aperitivo scene. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and private. Stefania kindly greeted us with an afternoon coffee (much appreciated after a busy drive in from Brescia) and went on to provide excellent advice on the local areas to walk and visit. Without her counsel, we might not have found our excellent restaurant selection that evening. Her breakfast is fresh and ample, served with cheerful banter and conversation. It's a shame that we could only stay the one night! Recommended.

K34 Milano is an absolutely fabulous place to stay when visiting Milan! Stefania is the BEST host - very pleasant, welcoming, friendly, and so kind. I stayed here in May 2023 for a week and immediately felt I was staying at my home away from home. The Lilla room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean - every single day. The en-suite bathroom looked new and had everything I needed. Stefania answered many questions about Milan and Italy. She is the “hostess with the mostest!” And she spreads out the most bountiful and delicious Italian continental breakfast! I could not believe all the choices and it tasted absolutely delicious. I kept exclaiming, “This tastes SO good!” \nThe location is easy walking distance to a grocery store, the very clean and efficient subway, a wonderful pizza shop across the street, and a lively and fun restaurant district. \n\nThis B&B is a gem! The price is quite reasonable for the fabulous accommodations and location. I appreciated the air conditioning, the safe neighborhood, the cozy mattress, and the wonderful location. In addition, the gated garden in the yard outside is a gardener’s delight! I was able to see and do so much in Milan because of the location, the rate, and the fabulous host. I consider Stefania a dear friend. I will definitely be back and stay longer next time!

Stefania is a great host, she welcomed us with cold drinks and was lovely, chatty, and friendly. She recommended places to eat and let us leave our bags while we went sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious too with something for every taste. The location is good - just a couple of minutes' walk from a metro station, and it was easy to find. We had the room with the mezzanine level which was perfect for 2 adults and a teenager.

The structure is in a strategic location, even more so if you come to Milan for a concert: it is close to the metro, a few stops from the Central Station and only 900 meters from the Alcatraz, easily reachable on foot. The structure is very beautiful and welcoming. A beautiful house and the lilac room where we were, with the en-suite bathroom, and a small elegant loft, spacious, bright, beautifully furnished. Everything very comfortable, precise and very clean. Also very comfortable for three people. \nOur host was helpful and very kind, she allowed us to park the car in the courtyard, and to check-in and check-out according to our needs, giving us full autonomy. She welcomed us for breakfast with interesting chats and fresh coffee prepared by her: breakfast with good quality packaged products, toast, excellent jam (the plum one was special!), fresh fruit, coffee, cereals, yogurt, rusks and pastries. \nWe had a great time, for a romantic getaway or for work, it's a place where you would like to stay or come back. \nThe location is close to the Metro so very convenient to move around Milan. I stayed only one night at Stefania's place with my partner and I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and comfort of the house. The room is located in a very cute building just steps away from the Zara metro station, close to the train station. It is easy to reach, on foot, also the Isola area, with restaurants and bars. We slept in the loft area and the room was spacious, quiet, warm, and welcoming. Everything, including the bathroom, was spotlessly clean and well organized. Stefania joined us for breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious. If we were to return to Milan we will definitely choose it, and we will certainly recommend it!

A wonderful surprise! Spacious room on two levels with a very spacious and above all quiet attic. Very comfortable double bed, we slept very well. The bathroom of our room ("Yellow") was located externally to the room but it is private. I appreciated the functionality of the shower. The breakfast, rich and varied, I particularly appreciated the homemade chocolate cake and the various types of organic honey. And finally, a praise to the very nice owner, helpful and attentive to our needs. Not a very cheap price but definitely worth it for the perceived quality, especially when compared to Milan prices. The location, very close to a subway stop, is extremely convenient for any type of city visit. I found a spacious and comfortable room with a lovely appearance; in addition to the beds and wardrobe, there is also a sofa, a mini-fridge, and a kettle with tea and coffee available. The street where it's located is very quiet and sleep was not disturbed by any external noise for any of the 3 nights. The offered breakfast is varied and plentiful! Also, the WiFi connection is excellent. But the highlight is the hostess, often present in the house, not only for breakfast with the guests, but also friendly, helpful without being intrusive, and always smiling: a significant improvement for any type of visit you may have!

I have been living in Bologna for many years. I came to Milan to join my mother due to my father's hospitalization at San Pio. From the central station, a ten-minute pleasant walk brought me to K34 Milano. The area is the best near the station. I would rename the structure 'the spring of Milan', a lovely little garden with a gazebo where you can spend ten minutes of break in complete relaxation. The rooms are meticulously organized, and both have private bathrooms. I was impressed by the extreme cleanliness of all the spaces and the provided comforts! Mini-fridge in the room, kettle, tea and coffee kit, and everything needed for a home-like breakfast, perfect bath linen, hairdryer, disposable slippers. In short, I lacked nothing, it was a great sorrow to leave. But the heart of K34 has a face, a smile, and a rare humanity, her name is Stefania. She is not just a landlady... she is a mother! It was the best experience of all. With her simplicity, attention, and respect, she managed to make us live a splendid stay despite the reason for the trip. Unbeatable!

We went to Milan for the "Real bodies" exhibition. What we found at K34 Milano was human warmth and feeling at home. Stefania has a way of doing things that is winning: helpful, friendly, and never intrusive. As for the room, it is large, clean, has everything you need, with a very comfortable bed for a perfect sleep. During the breakfast the next morning (Italian style, abundant and varied), Stefania chatted with us as friends do on Sunday mornings over a coffee. Finding empathy these days is becoming increasingly rare: nice to find someone who takes to heart the mood you have at a certain moment and knows how to welcome it without judging. A place where sharing is still in fashion and where sharing enriches. I will not fail to recommend it, hoping to find opportunities to return.

We stayed at the beginning and end of our trip to Italy. Stefani couldn't have been more helpful with directions, sightseeing, and dinner suggestions. Her home was very cozy and clean, which is very important to me. The location was perfect for catching the metro to all major sites. When we checked in at the end of our trip, it just felt like we were coming home. Feel confident in booking this property.

Stefania is an outstanding host who looked after us well and provided really helpful information about things to do and places to see in Milan. Her property is ideally situated a short walk from the Zara metro station, from which it is possible to get easily to the heart of Milan. The property is beautifully kept, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was a true feast, and off road car parking a real bonus.

I stayed at the K34 for 2 nights with my daughters and one of their friends. We were wonderfully welcomed by Mrs. Stefania, a host attentive to details, to the care of the guest and the structure, and to any need that arose for the guest. I chose this property for its proximity to Alcatraz, where the girls went to a concert, for the color and care of the furnishings, and for the location, also comforted by the excellent reviews that I fully agree with. I truly felt at home, despite being 800 km away, also the sympathy and humanity of Stefania with whom I had wonderful conversations. As my daughters said when leaving, I found a Milanese friend who greeted me like an old friend. When I return to Milan, I will already know where to go.

The B&B is very accessible to reach by metro and move around the city. Stefania is very nice and attentive to welcome you and give tips about the city. The room is quite spacious and the bathroom newly renovated. I would definitely come back!

I highly recommend staying at the B&B K34 Milano, excellent in every respect. Firstly, excellent connections to the city center, the metro stop is a few hundred meters away. The structure is very pleasant and, at the same time, truly welcoming. Every detail is personally taken care of by the owner, ensuring extreme care in the service provided to the customer. The room is spacious, comfortable, and equipped with every type of support that may be necessary for those staying there. Good taste characterizes this structure, not only for the furnishings but also for the hospitality provided. The owner fluently speaks different languages, so I recommend the B&B to those coming from abroad as well. I will not fail to stay at K34 Milano on future occasions. Truly excellent judgment.

This is a gem of a B&B not only a short walk from the central train station but owned and run by the wonderful Stefania. She is what this place is all about, it is an oasis within mediocrity in this sector. The welcome was fantastic after a long travelling day and her travel guide experience invaluable. Ok, it might take 45 minutes or so to walk to the Duomo but this is Milan and there are plenty of things to see along the way. If you want to just get to the city then the metro is less than 5 minutes walk. The room was a home from home with lovely touches here and there that made such a difference to simply 'staying' and enjoying an experience. By Italian (and many other countries) standards the breakfast was a veritable feast. If you left there hungry then it is your fault not Stefania's, such choice and freshness. It set us up for the days roaming in this fascinating of cities. Thank you Stefania, the only downside was we had to leave so soon, but hope to be back. Adrian and Jane.

Hotel-like services and warm home-like hospitality. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, with quality bed linen and bathroom sets (hand towel, face towel, bath towel, and bathrobe!). The breakfast offers a wide variety of fruits, yogurt, cereals, croissants, honey, jams, and chocolate. The property is just a stone's throw away from the Red and Lilac metro lines. From here, you can easily walk to the beautiful directional center of Piazza Gae Aulenti (less than 15 minutes), and through a nice walk through the Isola district, you can reach the art gallery in a little under an hour.\n\nLast but certainly not least, you will be pampered by Stefania, a wonderful owner who embodies an extraordinary mix of hospitality quality, discretion, and friendliness.

Located just 300 meters from two subway lines (the yellow and the lilac) and a 15-minute walk from the brand new Piazza Gae Aulenti and the Isola district, this B&B is located in a charming building with an internal garden where, weather permitting, a rich breakfast is served (croissants, biscuits, juices, fruit, yogurt, milk, cereals, jams, various types of tea, coffee). Room, with private bathroom, clean, bright, spacious, and with air conditioning. The main strength is naturally Stefania, the owner, kind, helpful, and attentive to any request (usually there is not even time to ask). A great experience that I highly recommend to all those who want to stay in a warm and familiar environment with an excellent value for money.

My wife and I stayed from 26th August 2015 for 3 nights, in this delightful and peaceful B&B K34. Immaculately clean and very well maintained room, with blue curtains matched to the blanket, which relaxes you and gives you tranquility, from the window the view of a leafy tree that gives you the feeling of being immersed in nature. The B&B K34 is in an ideal position to reach, with public transport, metro, buses, trains, etc., any place in Milan and its surroundings. What can I say about Stefania, a very sweet, exquisite, extremely helpful, prepared and informed person, to advise you on everything that may interest you. Stefania gives you those attentions and cuddles, making you feel at home. Abundant breakfast and excellent coffee. I hope to come back.

We enjoyed relaxing at K34 Milano before or after Expo Milano 2015 or historic center visits. Rooms and facilities are great, as is the breakfast. It is so easy to park cars for the entire journey and access the underground, which is very clean and secure. In conclusion, the owner is fantastic with people and also with languages. We will book again.
