Description

Located in the beautiful countryside, our place is perfect for a relaxing vacation. However, we are also close to Peschiera del Garda, with its marvelous beaches and charming parks. Our cozy B&B has been renovated with energy-saving principles and used to be the home of our grandparents. We are just 2 km away from Peschiera del Garda, surrounded by the greenery of the enchanting morainic hills. In the vicinity, you can visit famous amusement parks, natural wonders, and thermal baths. The hinterland is dotted with ancient villages, churches, and castles that you can easily reach using the cycling paths. Our philosophy is to make our guests feel at home, in an informal environment and in close contact with nature.

Hello, our intention is to make you discover our area, perhaps by going beyond the classic itineraries of the lake, or by combining the fun of the parks with easy excursions to appreciate the hinterland of Lake Garda from an alternative perspective.

We know that visits to the lake usually last two or three days with a very fast pace, precisely to be able to see many things in a short time.

Our stay was very pleasant. There was a rich and very good breakfast. The pastries were even baked by the hostess herself. The rooms are very lovingly furnished and one feels extremely comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and extremely eager for the guests to feel at home.

We had a really wonderful time with Federica and Ivano. It's rare to find such friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, we didn't miss anything. The highlight was the breakfast every morning, a great variety and beautifully presented. Special thanks to Ivano, who made sure we had fresh, homemade rolls and pastries every morning. Very nice terrace and outdoor area, plus the quiet location. There were also secure parking spaces for our bikes. The location of the accommodation is ideal for bike trips. Regular trains run from Peschiera del Garda to Milan and Verona. We recommend the accommodation without any reservations! Hospitality is very important here.

Federica could not have been a more lovely host. Very abundant breakfast including homemade bread & cakes, as well as eggs, yogurt etc. She loaned us bicycles (free!) to use during our stay and was very helpful with recommendations for activities. We enjoyed dinner there the first night - very reasonably priced, abundant & delicious. The room was spacious and everything spotlessly clean. We had a large terrace with the room which we also enjoyed. We felt very looked after by Federica & missed this hotel when we left it. We even had leftover cake from a breakfast and had it the next day in Verona and commented that Federica was still looking after us! Highly recommended hotel, thank you again!

Wonderful stay at this B&B. Frederika genuinely cares about the guest comfort and she is a dedicated hostess. She had good recommendations to explore the bike path and offered free use of the B&B bicycles. Location is in a quiet neighborhood, only 1-2 km from the main area of Peschiera del Garda - a perfect location for me. Room included a very abundant breakfast with homemade bread and pastries, meat and cheeses, coffee, and Frederika also made scrambled eggs.

A few minutes from Lake Garda, surrounded by greenery, you will find this beautiful house with well-kept rooms equipped with every comfort. The owner welcomed us, recommended places to see, restaurants in the area, and offers a fantastic homemade breakfast. Definitely excellent!

Second year as guests of Federica and Ivano, lovely place, convenient for trips on the lake and to the nearby larger cities. The owners' advice on various activities to do and more or less known attractions to see is always valuable. Familiar and never taken for granted welcome, superb breakfast with excellent quality products and always served with a smile, which never hurts. We had 4 great days at B&B Il Grande Salice (Bike Friends). We were warmly welcomed by Federica who provided us with nice information about the area. She is a very helpful and friendly owner and we were pampered every morning with a delicious extensive breakfast with many fresh products. Great location with a lovely garden and it's fun to explore the area around Lake Garda by bike. Bikes from the B&B can be used by guests. Federica was an amazing host. A lovely and peaceful location so close to Peschiera, a beautiful and bustling town by Lake Garda. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of homemade pastries and breads, and fruit grown on the property. Federica had bikes we could use as well to ride down the cycle paths alongside the river. We had a fantastic time and will stay here again when the opportunity arises.

It is the second year we come back here, the atmosphere thanks to Federica and her husband and family and you can breathe a homely air. The breakfasts are abundant and carefully prepared down to the smallest details, the rooms are very clean and tastefully furnished. Free bike rental, I recommend taking them for a nice ride on the Mincio cycle path nearby. We highly recommend it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. We were welcomed by Federica who made us feel immediately comfortable and always very helpful. The place is a 3-minute drive from Peschiera but at the same time it is immersed in greenery where you can breathe a homely and relaxing atmosphere. The room is well-kept, comfortable, and very clean. Not to mention the breakfast, homemade sweets and biscuits (by Federica and her husband), savory, fruit... Truly fantastic! Highly recommended!

If you wish to visit Lake Garda Desenzano, Sirmione, Peschiera, etc... (and inland the nearby cities of Verona and Mantova) then this B&B is really the place to be to escape the tourist crowds. We booked 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sympathy, friendliness and helpfulness of Federica, the hostess who takes care of her B&B with love and passion. Not luxurious, but a neat, well-maintained room with a beautiful large private terrace and... a very tasty and varied breakfast! All this for a very fair democratic price. We think this B&B deserves a big 10 out of 10 points! We were 100% satisfied and hope to come back here next year.

A single piece of advice: go there if you need to visit Lake Garda. The structure is new, clean and located in a very quiet yet strategic place to reach the points of interest (from parks to cities). Federica, the owner, is extremely helpful and in the morning she prepares a super breakfast without missing anything. The excellent reviews are truly deserved! We were very pleasantly surprised by the overall package. Location, lovingly furnished rooms, bathrooms all top, quiet and rurally idyllic yet very central between wonderful towns and sights. But everything is overshadowed by the hostess Frederica. In a very pleasant way, she provides great tips from museums, parking lots to gastronomy. Whether it's a small fridge for the room, a wine opener or a sun lounger, Frederica has fulfilled all our wishes. The best for last: Italian breakfast can sometimes be a bit meager. Not with Frederica! Here we have a generous buffet! Freshly baked bread from her husband, fresh fruit, a fresh omelette etc... simply a dream start to a new holiday day. Thank you for everything!

Abbiamo trovato questo B&B solo qualche ora prima di pernottare. Federica è stata gentilissima ad accoglierci e ospitarci. Anche se il nostro bagno privato era fuori dalla stanza, abbiamo avuto comunque la nostra privacy. Colazione abbondante e ottima con dolci fatti in casa. Pulizia impeccabile. Inoltre Federica è molto preparata e disponibile ad indicare luoghi ed itinerari caratteristici della zona. Assolutamente consigliato!

Il mio compagno ed io abbiamo soggiornato in questo graziosissimo B&B solamente una notte, giusto il tempo per rilassarci un giorno a zonzo nelle zone limitrofe, e un giorno di divertimento a Gardaland. La struttura è situata in una zona molto tranquilla, verde e priva di caos ma da qui è semplice e veloce raggiungere i parchi divertimento e le zone sul lago. Ci si rilassa davvero. I gestori preparano un'ottima colazione e propongono quindi torte e pane fatti in casa, yogurt, frutta e affettati freschi oltre a latte, caffè e tè. La signora poi è disponibilissima per informazioni sui luoghi da visitare nei paraggi. La struttura e la stanza sono degne di nota per la pulizia. Davvero un bel posto in cui soggiornare. Lo consigliamo vivamente!

Abbiamo soggiornato, di passaggio, una sola notte ma già al momento della prenotazione effettuata il giorno precedente l'arrivo, mi era sembrata una buona soluzione (immagini viste on line semplici e piacevoli, prezzo abbordabile). Le impressioni della prima ora si sono poi rivelate fondatissime trovando già la sera un'accoglienza cordiale e la sistemazione (LAVANDA) molto piacevole, e soprattutto svegliandoci la mattina e trovando, dal terrazzo, un bel panorama della campagna (essendo però a 5 minuti dal lago) e in cucina una gradita colazione così varia semplice e genuina. A presto quindi.

Un B&B piacevole come non ci saremmo mai aspettati. Fuori dalla città, leggermente in campagna, è un ambiente estremamente curato con camere pulitissime e molto carine che danno su un giardino idilliaco con un grande salice al centro. Abbiamo usufruito della struttura come punto di appoggio per andare a Gardaland ed alle terme di Colà, raggiungibili entrambi in pochissimo tempo in macchina. L'accoglienza dei gestori è stata impeccabile, disponibilissimi e cordialissimi; la colazione è stata una delle migliori mai fatte, con dolci fatti in casa davvero gustosi e la compagnia della proprietaria sempre disponibile, ma mai invadente. Consigliatissimo.

Ho soggiornato presso il B&B IL GRANDE SALICE con la mia ragazza per due notti consecutive. Eravamo in cerca di una struttura posizionata nelle vicinanze di Gardaland e dei vari altri parchi presenti nel lago di Garda. Ci siamo imbattuti in un luogo pulito, ben arredato e ben attrezzato; colazione abbondante e varia con la presenza di pane e dolci fatti in casa, deliziosi. Punti a favore sono anche dettati dalla cortesia dei gestori. Immerso nel verde per una vacanza all'insegna del relax. Consigliato.

Ottima l'accoglienza e la disponibilità della titolare e di tutta la famiglia, ambiente particolarmente adatto alle famiglie con bambini che possono giocare nel verde, cura dei particolari delle camere e del giardino, luogo silenzioso e ameno, comodo sia al lago che a Gardaland. Il prezzo è onesto e tiene conto del "quoziente familiare"! Se capita ci torneremo volentieri.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura io mio marito e mia figlia di 3 anni solo per una notte in quanto il nostro obiettivo era quello di passare una giornata a gardaland. Ottima esperienza presso questa struttura. La coppia che gestisce gentilissima e disponibile. La pulizia impeccabile. Torniamo sicuramente a settembre. Ci hanno poi consigliato anche su dove cenare. Tutto è stato perfetto a parte un terribile temporale che poco ci ha permesso di sfruttare lo spazio all' aperto di cui disponeva la struttura. Andateci. Fantastico per coppie in cerca di relax e per bambini.

Ottimo B&B. Molto vicino a Peschiera (<5 min) e alle altre principali mete sul lago di Garda, situato in una bella zona verde. La titolare è presente e disponibilissima. Camere ampie, pulite e ben arredate. Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio a tutte le persone che fanno vacanze anche brevi in zona lago, Gardaland.

Struttura ottima, dalla pulizia alla posizione assolutamente tranquilla immerso nel verde, camere ampie pulite dotate di tutto. Colazione ottima e disponibilità dei proprietari a qualsiasi richiesta. Posto ideale per famiglie i bambini possono giocare fuori in giardino. Che altro aggiungere. Tutto perfetto!

Siamo una giovane coppia che ha sostato in questa struttura solo per una notte. La Signora che ci ha accolto é stata davvero gentile e disponibile, la struttura é immersa nel verde ed é molto curata, la nostra stanza era essenziale ma con tutto quello che ci serviva, pulita e in particolare ci ha sorpreso il bagno spazioso e curato con una doccia enorme. La colazione é stata davvero eccellente oltre che abbondante. La collocazione della struttura é ideale per chi si sposta in auto, visto l'ampio parcheggio, la vicinanza con le principali arterie stradali e lontana da caos e traffico dei centri turistici limitrofi. Nota di merito il rapporto qualità/prezzo, davvero l'ideale per i giovani che vogliono visitare la zona lago senza grosse spese. Sicuramente ci ritorneremmo e lo consigliamo!
