Description

"Il Glicine" is a lovely house in the countryside at the foot of the Valtenesi Hills, the region of the Southern part of the Garda area ideal for those who love good wine and good food.

It is the perfect place for those looking for tranquillity and it is located between Lake Garda at 8 km and Brescia (beautiful art city) at 16 km.

It offers four large and comfortable bedrooms.

Under request it is possible to use a private kitchen.

Inside the garden, there is a parking for the guests' usage.

A rich and delicious breakfast is served in the bright dining room with a view on the village of Bedizzole and on the surrounding hills.

Wi-fi in every room and in the garden.

The owner, Ms. Lucia, is very kind! Excellent location, convenient from many points of view: as a starting point for lake tours, visits to Sirmione, visits to Brescia, but also as a stopover on trips towards Venice and beyond.

Excellent structure on the hills near Desenzano, clean and welcoming rooms, and Mrs. Lucia always smiling and fully available to guests. Strategic location near the highway and a few minutes from the center.

We spent 2 nights at Lucia's place and she pampered us and gave us many tips about the area. The B&B is in a great location not far from Desenzano. The good breakfast was accompanied by conversations about the day we spent, it was very pleasant. We felt at home.

We were greeted very warmly. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The breakfast table was lovingly prepared and the breakfast very delicious. We were warmly greeted again and well taken care of.

Mrs. Lucia is a perfect host, always present and precise. The accommodation is in a convenient location by the lake, a spacious room with a bathroom, vintage but well-kept decor, internal parking, and wifi included in the price. Very pleasant contact and conversations with Mrs. Lucia who personally prepared a varied and abundant breakfast. Good value for money.

Spacious accommodation in an old but beautifully renovated house in a quiet location. The breakfast was wonderful and our hostess, Lucia, warm and friendly. Her tips for activities and restaurants were very valuable.

Cercavamo un posto tranquillo dove trascorrere due notti a due passi dal lago di Garda per poter fare delle gite e vedere dei posti caratteristici sul lago, non potevamo scegliere di meglio, la titolare signora Lucia ci ha fatto sentire come a casa dandoci anche degli ottimi consigli sui posti da visitare e su dove andare a mangiare! Se torneremo da queste parti andremo sicuramente a dormire in questo B&B anche per tornare a trovare la signora Lucia.

Bellissima villetta su due piani con stanze spaziose e letti comodi. Colazione dolce e molto varia, direi magnifica almeno quanto la proprietaria che ci ha accolti come una mamma. Ottima esperienza.

Grazie a Lucia e alla sua casa abbiamo passato un'ottimo weekend. Eravamo due famiglie sistemate in un camera ed in un mini alloggio. Cercavamo tranquilità ed indipendenza e ne usciamo soddisfatti. Se ce ne sarà l'occasione tornerò sicuramente. Grassie nè. Come si dice dalle mie parti.

Ho soggiornato in questo B&B per vari periodi negli ultimi anni, gustandolo in tutte le stagioni. Lo consiglio vivamente in primavera, quando il magnifico giardino del B&B è al culmine del suo splendore ma anche d'estate, quando si può godere il fresco della sera (arriva la brezza dal lago) sotto il gazebo. Il Glicine è un posto speciale che rimane facilmente nel cuore, in primis per l'accoglienza straordinaria profusa dalla proprietaria Lucia, che non si limita solo a consegnare le chiavi e a dare le indicazioni minime, ma ti riceve con cordialità di altri tempi (senza però mai cadere nell'invadenza) e dà molti consigli precisi su luoghi nelle vicinanze da visitare nonchè altre dritte utili (ad esempio per muoversi o per mangiare nei dintorni o zona lago di Garda). Il Glicine è disposto su due piani: al piano terra vi è un miniappartamento con arredamento abbastanza moderno e funzionale. Al piano superiore vi sono diverse camere, spaziose e eleganti. L'arredamento del piano superiore, classico e di buon gusto, è per larga misura originario di quando vi abitava stabilmente tutta la famiglia e dà subito un piacevole impatto di calore familiare. Il salone è molto grande e luminoso, con un grande divano e diverse poltrone, ove si può passare del tempo con tv, libreria e giochi in scatole. Vi è la possibilità inoltre di utilizzare la cucina, che dispone di tutti gli utensili necessari (nonchè di frigo con cella freezer, opportunità molto comoda per organizzarsi la permanenza). In 15 minuti d'auto si raggiunge il lago di Garda. Infine le stanze si presentano sempre pulite e il B&B è situato in una zona molto tranquilla, non ci sono problemi di rumorosità.

E poi la vita ti mette di fronte ad incontri con persone che, dopo tanta frequentazione, fatichi a considerare nella categoria quasi riduttiva degli ospiti. Come nel tuo caso, Marta. Entrata discretamente nel tessuto affettivo della famiglia, della casa, del giardino, anche se dopo anni che venivi ancora non sapevi dov'era piantata la salvia (...), sei diventata via via una presenza ineludibile. Grazie a te per la tua vicinanza in tutti questi anni, per la tua gentilezza, l'ordine nella tua camera e negli spazi comuni (non sono ironica) e per l'amore che hai dedicato anche ai nostri animali, i mici Pelér, Balì e Ghibli (detto Ghiblino) e la gallinella Vinessa. È pleonastico dirti che ti rivedrò sempre volentieri.

Abbiamo trovato un'accoglienza d'altri tempi, Lucia (ed il marito Mario) sono persone che ti ospitano in un'atmosfera amicale ma soprattutto simpatica, pulita e di gran classe. Abbondante la colazione. L'arredamento nella sala colazioni è lodevole, si possono ammirare quadri ed arredamenti molto intonati allo stile della casa. Complimenti ancora ai gestori Lucia e Mario per aver saputo cogliere il vero spirito del B&B.

È come stare in famiglia. Mi sono fermato in questo B&B quattro giorni e da subito sono stato accolto con la massima cortesia e gentilezza dal gestore Lucia che è una donna fantastica e brillante. Mi sono trovato in una casa tranquilla e senza rumori. C'è un comodo e sicuro parcheggio privato. C'è internet. Ho pranzato e cenato in casa perchè c'è una cucina a disposizione. C'è un bel salone elegante per vedere la tv e dove viene servita un'ottima e abbondante colazione. Si trova a pochi km dalla bellissima città di Brescia e nelle vicinanze del castello di Sirmione. Tornando a casa, una sera, la signora Lucia mi ha invitato ad un dopo cena offrendomi un dolce ed un ottimo bicchiere di vino della zona. Il giorno dopo mi ha anche accompagnato in una nota cantina per acquistare del vino. Insomma mi sono trovato come a casa mia. Consiglio vivamente a tutti il B&B Il Glicine.

Il B&B il Glicine è un luogo confortevole e tranquillo dove sostare per un weekend o anche dove passare settimane e mesi! Il calore del posto è paragonabile a quello di una casa! Lucia è sempre molto gentile e disponibile. Oltre al buon gusto dei locali e ai vari comfort anche il paese in cui si trova offre pace e tranquillità e allo stesso tempo è a due passi da cittadine più vivaci e dal lago di Garda.

Ho trascorso con la famiglia una sola notte al Glicine, perché di passaggio, e siamo stati benissimo. La Lucia ci ha fatto cominciare bene le vacanze.
