Unfortunately my impression was negative. The room was not tidied up. The bathroom is external. Prepayment was requested. I wanted to pay in cash but I was not allowed to. The manager was not present to respond to requests (it was hot and there was neither air conditioning nor a fan). The room was lacking a TV and a table with a chair (the manager allowed me to access the room previously used for breakfast).

Spett signoragni Forse non se ne è accorto ma il bagno, che non è esterno ma di lato alla camera, e la camera veniva pulita tutti i giorni. I pagamenti sono sempre anticipati e vengono sempre fatti con sistemi di tracciabilità, è la mia regola. Il condizionatore c'è, doveva solo chiedere il telecomando. La camera da lei scelta era sprovvista di tv, è scritto chiaro nella prenotazione e ha avuto accesso al soggiorno delle colazioni con 2 tavoli e 6 sedie. Se vuole una struttura con trattamento a 5 stelle deve spendere un po di più di 60 euro a notte, i posti che le piacciono non mancano in zona. Claudio, beb IL CORTILE.

Claudio is a great host, talkative and nice always ready to help with any questions. He gave us tips on biking, hiking, parking and swimming all around the lake Como. He showed us many places on the maps and even borrowed us his own. The house is in a quiet area with parking places on the property, there's a grocery shop, ATM and other shops nearby. The apartment is clean and spacious, the only thing I missed in the kitchen was cutlery and some more pots. We had ours, so no problem for us. There was a quite strong odour in the main bedroom, but we couldn't figure out what exactly it was.

The maximum availability of the manager and friendliness struck us immediately, as well as his dog who kept us company for two days. The premises were very clean and tidy, in a quiet location. Everything allowed us to spend two pleasant days and New Year's Eve together with friends. A beautiful experience for which we thank Claudio and Betty.

One can only express the very positive opinion about "Il Cortile". The tranquility of the place, the cleanliness and order, the courtesy of the manager are the strengths. As a non-smoker, I also appreciated the ban on smoking in the rooms. Recommended to everyone.
