Let me introduce myself, my name is Veronica, for friends and family "Vera, and since you guests will be part of it you can call me that". being in the center of the city of Brescia, in the close vicinity of points of interest and indispensable services. Are you wondering what is the origin of such a particular name? Well, it is well known that human beings always follow their feelings and her emotions. For this reason I wanted to dedicate my accommodation facility to the memory of "Gioia". Gioia was my sweet little cat, she loved cozy, peaceful and quiet places just like my B&B. My family and I will do our best to make you feel at home, protected in a warm and welcoming Cantuccio. I will be available and attentive to your needs as much as possible. For any information or advice you can contact me with a simple Whatsapp and I will try to help you or meet your needs. My only rules are: Respect and Education.

Veronica and her husband are passionate hosts, and you can see that in the care they put into the details in the room and the welcoming environment. The breakfast is amazing, just the way I like it, a small buffet but with a nice variety of sweets. It’s a beautiful place in a perfect position. The host is very friendly and helpful. Everything about this place was great. A piece of advice if you are going by car: If you are not an excellent driver DON’T PARK in Autosilo1. Don’t even try and go in. But it’s about the parking and not the accommodation.

The property is located in the center of Brescia, just two minutes walk from the shopping area and 5/10 minutes walk from the main points of interest in the city. The B&B is very nice and well cared for in all details, the bathrooms have excellent personal care products available, and the rooms are nice and quiet. The breakfast is varied, super fresh, with pastry brioche, homemade cakes, and savory options on request. The host is very kind, super available, responds quickly, and tries to accommodate the guests' needs. The only negative note is that the apartment where the B&B is located is only accessible by stairs, which is not practical for people with mobility difficulties or with children in strollers.

The structure is beautiful, well-kept as it has just been renovated and close to all the points of interest in the center. Veronica is a very helpful, kind girl who knows how to make you feel comfortable. Our room had the toilet in a different area from the shower and the sink, which was open instead. A beautiful solution, but not very comfortable. Overall, it was a nice discovery that we recommend. Thank you, Ilaria and Francesco from Osimo (AN).

Veronica welcomed me like a friend, with kindness and care. The room was quiet, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with homemade products and a wide choice (I love savory food but often cannot find it in Italy!). Not to mention, the location was super central and strategic for my commitments at the theater. A plus were the high-quality products for personal care available in the bathroom. Great B&B in a perfect location to visit Brescia. It is easy to reach by car and to park nearby. From there, the pedestrian area begins and it is possible to walk through the entire historic center. The owner is ready for any of our requests.

The structure is beautiful, in a good position, very close to the center. We stayed for two nights and were surprised to discover that the room was never cleaned and the change of towels, although we left them in the shower on the first evening, never happened. It seemed very strange to us. What a pity.

This is the first time I have given 10 for everything in a review. For us this property was clean and comfortable and the room we had was very quiet even though we were close to the city centre. The breakfast was Italian with a selection of very good local products including the host’s home baked cakes. The host was charming and very helpful. I would happily recommend this B&B to friends.

Veronica is an exceptional host. She was very responsive in communication and personally welcomed us to her B&B. The B&B is well located in a central but quiet location with nearby on-street and off-street parking. Our room and the B&B's common areas were well designed and immaculate. Charming room and area. Very clean and comfortable with nice bed linen. Lack of directions for parking, which made life difficult. A printed page or email for the map and directions would have helped. Contact was pleasant but not sufficient. The key had to be left in the room, but that also meant we had to close the street door and run upstairs to leave the key in the bedroom. However, the front door downstairs blew shut, so we had to retrieve the key! Keys were a bit difficult to use. Having a person available for entry and exit would have helped. The new air conditioner in room V had a faulty noise that was so loud it woke us. I hope it can be fixed as this is a nice place. I would stay here again in another room.

The rooms and the breakfast room are tastefully and meticulously decorated, very well-kept and clean. Breakfast is prepared for self-service, everything is available and preferably local, although all in individual packaging, hence the slight deduction in points for breakfast. The owner is very friendly, attentive, and uncomplicated. The location is perfect, on the edge of the old town center, all sights within walking distance in a few minutes, yet located in a rather quiet small alley. Veronica is a very attentive host. She apologized a lot because of a small problem with the furniture although for me it was not a big issue. The B&B is well situated in the town center with easy access to cultural sites, restaurants, boutiques and quiet. Modern outfit. A door or panelling between bathroom and sleeping area would be appreciated. Access to shower a bit tight - particularly for not too slim persons. We did not so much appreciate the breakfast as mostly packed biscuits/rolls and drinks are offered. However a big variety of such products is available. Veronica is a charming lady doing her best to fulfill the wishes of the clients. If not in persons, calling back or trying to reach you.

A quiet structure in the heart of Brescia (just be aware of ZTL, limited traffic zones) reachable on foot all the historical points of the city and the shopping street. Tastefully furnished, very clean, quiet, comfortable bed. Breakfast with packaged products but rich and well-organized. A pleasant and relaxing stay highly recommended to visit the center of Brescia.

The Cantuccio di Gioia in Brescia is really joyful, very clean and very cute. Certainly, at least for us, very suitable for those passing through. The only downside is the parking, which is not on the street but in a paid box that is very valid and very close. Veronica is a very helpful person in finding solutions in case of difficulties. The room is very simple and decent, and all necessary services are available, if we were to return to Brescia we will definitely go back!

Il Cantuccio di Gioia B&B is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, very clean, fragrant, and super equipped. The location is very strategic, 5 minutes from the center and 10 minutes from the central station. Veronica, the owner, was very kind and helpful for anything. Overall everything was great. The room and the bathroom were really nice. The breakfast was good too. Very centrally located and all the sights were easily reachable on foot. The space was clean, quiet, and cozy. It was easy to find and in a great location. It felt like I was the only one staying there. The food options were good! great tea selection and the kitchen was easy to navigate. Some of the fruit was a little old but everything else was tasty.

Excellent location right in the center, a 10-minute walk from the station. Kindness and professionalism from the manager. Quiet, comfortable, and well-heated room with excellent fragrances and great hygiene products. They promptly satisfied our need for lactose-free products for breakfast. I stayed for only one night. Very tidy, clean, and fragrant. The only flaw was the missing toilet paper in the bathroom and there was no spare in the cabinets. The breakfast was very varied even if everything was packaged. Overall, for having been passing by, it is a good B&B.

Really nice establishment, had a room with a balcony facing the street. Outside is a small square with a church and fountain. Short walk to the city center and train station. Breakfast was self service and I decided to take it outside as there are several cafes nearby. Friendly, accommodating staff. Suitable for fun trips (no desk in room). Recommended for a short stay. Would stay there again.

We were happy to find this B&B so close to... well, everything. The windows open onto/above the plaza, and there is a balcony for sitting and taking in the activity down below. Veronica, the hostess, is friendly and efficient. While I preferred to sleep in (comfortable bed!), I noticed the day before that were a variety of savories and sweets offered for breakfast. I appreciated having the dining area to eat in late at night, and the espresso maker ready to use afterwards! (A side note: there was a door that could be closed between the bedrooms and the dining/lounge area - a much appreciated detail).

Great B&B, you feel pampered! Veronica is available and welcoming, attentive to personal needs. The breakfast is excellent considering the obligation of packaged foods due to COVID. Great facility in the center of Brescia. The owner is a very kind and helpful person. The room is very spacious and clean. The bathroom is nice and big with a window. The only two small negative points are: lack of air conditioning in the room. We didn't suffer from the heat because we stayed in mid-September, but I think in the middle of August a bit more heat may be felt. The breakfast is a bit scarce, consisting of packaged croissants and biscuits. The juices are kept outside the fridge, so they are a bit warm. No mention of a savory breakfast. Just agree with some trusted baker who brings you fresh salty and sweet items every morning. Overall, the rating I give is 7 and a half. I would gladly come back, hoping for the small changes I requested.

Grazie mille caro Marco, innanzitutto ci tengo a dire che siete stati veramente molto educati e rispettosi di tutta la struttura, e questo per me è già motivo di gratitudine. Per quando riguarda l'aria condizionata - partendo dal presupposto che sono contraria al suo utilizzo in primo luogo per via dell'inquinamento dell'aria dovuto ai condizionatori, l'effetto serra cresce e come ben sappiamo abbiamo delle ricadute negative non solo solo sull'inquinamento atmosferico (più arai fresca generiamo e più il nostro pianete si surriscalda) ma anche sulla nostra salute. Tuttavia questo è un mio pensiero, in quanto da sempre attenta al tema ambientale. Ovviamente non pretendo che i miei ospiti lo condividano, anzi.. Ma il motivo principale per cui non ci è stato possibile installare i condizionatori classici è il rispetto di alcuni limiti imposti da regolamento. Il nostro è un palazzo in pieno centro storico e non ci è consentito installare i motori esternamente purtroppo. Sicuramente ci siamo e ci stiamo attivando per trovare una soluzione alternativa per la prossima estate, al fine di soddisfare le esigenze di tutti i nostri clienti. Per ora abbiamo optato per dei ventilatori a torre più potenti di quelli classici. Per la colazione.. tengo a precisare che in realtà erano e sono presenti non solo brioches e biscotti, ma anche cereali, fette biscottate, marmellate, nutella, plumcakes, tortino allo yogurt e con gocce di cioccolato. Il discorso inerente ai prodotti confezionati (comunque di alta qualità, non posso citarne i marchi per ovvie ragioni) è legato all'impossibilità di maneggiare alimenti a causa del Covid, (la normativa attuale prevede questo) tra le altre cose è ben indicato con un avviso anche sul piano in cui viene preparata la colazione, che è tipicamente Italiana e che quindi non comprende alimenti salati. In realtà ci avevo anche provato a mettere a disposizione una colazione anche salata, ma la nostra clientela per circa il 90% non ne usufruiva, causando così un grosso spreco perché poi ovviamente gli alimenti venivano buttati, e questo non è contemplato nella mia idea di Host. In ogni caso, perché no, potrei pensare di offrire una colazione salata su richiesta. Mi hai dato un'idea! Apprezzo molto l'opinioni degli ospiti perché da qualche critica si può sempre trarre qualche spunto per migliorarsi.. e di migliorarsi non bisogna stancarsi mai!! Grazie mille ancora. Experience to repeat as soon as possible with my family. Spacious bedrooms and a very cozy breakfast room, all furnished with a sober style that makes it immediately familiar. A balcony full of flowers overlooking a lively square with useful services for a traveler. Il Cantuccio di Gioia B&B is a welcoming and well-kept structure. Vera is a super helpful person and has always been present to take care of both the structure and our stay. Excellent choice.

The Cantuccio di Gioia B&B is very central, clean and set up with love. It has everything one needs including a nice bathroom with hygiene products, Wi-Fi, TV, comfortable beds and a little breakfast. We enjoyed our stay!\n\nOnly negative point that should be considered if you are travelling by car: there are no private parking lots so the public ones have to be used. They are free from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. but if you are staying several days you will have to move the car during daytime...

We have different choices between croissants, plumcakes, pies, biscuits, jams, nutella and rusks. Then there are fruit juices, milk (in the fridge) and coffee. I'm sorry you didn't find anything to your liking. As for parking, we actually have our own private garage and this is only available by reservation and subject to availability at an extra cost of € 15 per day. The garage is large, but can only house even a large car. Sorry if I didn't tell you but I thought you read it. Thanks anyway for everything, you were very polite and excellent hosts. See you soon.
