Located in Milan, just 1. 8 km from Santa Maria delle Grazie and 2. 3 km from MUDEC – Museum of Cultures, House of Frames is an intimate B&B set within an early 20th-century Milanese home, in a quiet residential neighbourhood with easy access to the city centre.
There are just two guest rooms, both air-conditioned and overlooking a peaceful inner garden. Each has its own character and has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, with free WiFi, slippers, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The Double Deluxe Room is ideal for couples or solo travellers who enjoy a little more space, while the Single Superior Room is designed for those travelling alone.
A few things worth knowing before you book: House of Frames is also my home, where I live and personally welcome my guests. There is one shared bathroom, used by guests staying in the two rooms and by me. It is spacious, spotless and carefully maintained, with a double washbasin, shower, bidet and a selection of bath and body products.
The apartment is on the third floor of a historic building with no elevator.
De Angeli and Wagner M1 metro stations are approximately 550 and 600 metres away, offering easy connections to central Milan and Fiera Milano Rho. CityLife and MiCo are nearby, while San Siro, the Tortona Design District, MUDEC and the Darsena are all within easy reach. Milan Linate Airport is approximately 12 km away.

Because I love travelling, meeting different people and cultures.

House of Frames is located in an elegant, residential and quiet area of Milan, between Marghera, Wagner and De Angeli. The house is set on a side street between pleasant tree-lined avenues, in a neighbourhood much appreciated by locals and rich in restaurants, cafés, gelaterias, shops and services.
The city centre is close by: the Duomo is about a 30-minute walk away, with Santa Maria delle Grazie and Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper, as well as Corso Magenta, along the way. CityLife and MiCo – Milano Convention Centre are also nearby.
To the south, the Tortona Design District, MUDEC and the Navigli are within easy reach, offering some of Milan’s liveliest areas for restaurants, bars, aperitivo and nightlife.
The location is also particularly convenient for San Siro Stadium, home to major football matches and concerts, with a direct connection from the area on tram 16. The M1 metro line also provides a direct connection to Rho Fiera.
For those visiting Milan for study or to visit students, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, IULM University and Bocconi University are well connected to the area.

I stayed at this property for B&B Day. It is located in an excellent area, well connected and full of amenities. Very safe and quiet even when returning at night. The owner was very helpful and kind, a wonderful person to know. The room and the bathroom are very comfortable and nice.

I had the pleasure of discovering this small structure full of charm, design, quiet, and very clean while staying for just one night. The central location allows easy access to the metro and public transportation. The hostess is exquisite, friendly, and discreet, making you feel welcome and at home right away. I spent one night in Reka's beautiful apartment at the end of July 2020. Located in a very elegant area and well connected by the metro, the house is well furnished, well-kept, and very clean, and the room is very bright and quiet, useful for those who want to regenerate. The breakfast is excellent and Reka is a good host, very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

What can be said that is beautiful and positive that has not already been said about House of Frames? A little gem nestled in a fascinating reality of the Milan of unforgettable times. Delicate, courteous, pleasantly reserved hospitality. Attentive, precise, absolute cleanliness. Elegant, well-kept, sober accessories and furnishings. Aspects that make this place the best that a traveler, for business or pleasure, alone or in good company, can, in my opinion, desire and expect from a choice of this level.

The house is very clean, which is fundamental for me, and original in the renovation; Mrs. Reko is discreet, cute, particular like her house. An encounter worth having.\nIncidentally, despite the lack of an elevator (not a serious issue), the building has its own romantic charm and is in a beautiful neighborhood.
