Anna was very attentive to my requests. I appreciated it very much. For instance, the water pressure in the shower was weak, which was fixed immediately after I mentioned it. There is a good supermarket around the corner. Milano Centrale is a 15-minute walk away. I am glad that I chose Hotel Malta.

Very nice hotel and the hosts are welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, although the bathroom would benefit from a ventilation fan. Good location near the Loreto stop, with many places to eat and drink nearby. In the evenings on weekends the atmosphere is a bit lively, but for Milan it's not a big deal.

Excellent location, very helpful and welcoming owners. Unfortunately the property is spread over several floors and the hotel has no elevator. My room was small but basic and had everything I needed. It had a few minor flaws, but nothing disabling. The only real drawback was the shower, which was very uncomfortable: it had an old annoying curtain and the water flow was weak and inconsistent.

Small hotel located in an excellent area. About 200-300 m on foot you can reach the metro that connects the red and green lines, and in a few minutes you can reach the city center and the main points of interest. The furnishings are sparse and dated. The room is small, as is the bathroom (very modest). An essential courtesy kit and a hairdryer are provided. The cleanliness and the kindness, courtesy and helpfulness of the staff (perhaps the owners) are excellent. The price-quality ratio is appropriate for the hotel's star rating. Ideal for very short stays (1-2 nights) for personal or family needs. Considering the location of the property, the quietness of the area, the ease of reaching the metro on foot, and the courtesy of the staff, renovating it to make it more modern and functional would allow the property to gain at least two more stars.

We spent only one night at Hotel Malta and it went very well, starting with the very kind and friendly hosts, who were very helpful in providing information and suggestions. The hotel and the rooms are simple but very charming and above all clean; our room had a beautiful little terrace overlooking the inner courtyard, surrounded by greenery, with all the Christmas lights. It was therefore very quiet. The area is perfect, a 20-minute walk from the central station and with all services (bars, restaurants, tobacconist, etc.). The street is also quiet. Truly everything was perfect and at a super competitive price.

The owner was very, very unpleasant. We had to leave our suitcases in a room with little supervision. At night Luis Fernando attended to us and he was much friendlier. The accommodation is fine, although we only stayed there for about 7 hours. There is no elevator. It is open 24 hours and is 20 minutes by metro from the Duomo.

We liked Anna a lot; she is a very friendly and warm person. The location was good, although not in the middle of the city center, but still within walking distance. I am sure that public transportation could help, but we were not confident using it.

The hosts are very friendly, helpful and give great tips on how to enjoy the city. A few hundred metres from the metro (two lines), you can easily reach any place. The neighborhood is nice and lively and you can find everything you need in the immediate vicinity. Thanks for everything, Anna!

Nice, clean budget hotel. Good Wi-Fi. Host very friendly. Great location close to the main station, the metro station and a local Carrefour. You can walk back after a night out. A few downsides though: very thin walls so I recommend bringing earplugs, no elevator and very few power sockets in the room.

This property is run by two wonderful people: Mrs. Anna and her husband are very helpful, kind and accommodating with any request. If you need to travel by train, the location is excellent: there are very close metro stations, shops and supermarkets. The room was clean, minimalist but very welcoming. Perfect property for a business trip, medical appointments or study. There is no elevator, so it is fine if you have little luggage. I highly recommend it: if you need to spend a few days in Milan, this is the right place.

Located a few steps from Corso Buenos Aires, the property is modest but clean and its owners were very welcoming. For being a hostel, it's great. The room is functional but has everything you need and is very clean, very well located, just 8 minutes from a lot of subway stations that take you to the center in 10 minutes and to the central train station you arrive in 5 minutes, there are only two stops away, around there are many bars and restaurants. For everyone who finds themselves in Milan without asking too much, it is a great value for money alternative, close to the Loreto stop. Yes, there is no elevator and the bathroom is a bit tight, but we make do with it. It is also true that during the day you are out and about in the city and only return to sleep. I can say that I rested very well. I think I will return if I have the chance, recommended.

Anna was a wonderful host, always communicating very punctual before arriving and very friendly and helpful during my stay. When I arrived it was unexpected hot for the time of the year in May. Unfortunately the airconditioning did not work that time of the year. This is the only disappointment. Luckily after the second day I got a promotion to a beautiful room on the first floor with a great view of the garden. All in all a great place to stay.

I was in this place with a friend. I was surprised by the really spacious room! Definitely quiet and clean. Great value for money. I would have given ten stars. Just two minor issues: the bathroom, despite the two dim lights, and the shower which is difficult to use due to an old showerhead that needs replacing. But nothing serious. Breakfast was sufficient, but more than acceptable for me. Too bad there is no option for a minimum choice of savory items. Other than that, we were very satisfied overall with the price and quality offered. I think I will return in the future! A good reference point.

Anna was very kind and helpful from the first written and phone contacts. Impression also confirmed in person by Antonio and Fernando. 24-hour concierge service. The property has an excellent quality/price ratio (which obviously varies according to the market and the hotel occupancy level). For our needs, we particularly appreciated the proximity to the Loreto metro station just a few minutes away on foot (double green and red line. In 15 minutes you can reach the Duomo) and a convenient multi-storey parking at the agreed rate of €20/day or paid blue lines on the street. Overall, a nice area that also seemed quiet. Breakfast was not included and nearby there is a good availability of bars, bakeries, and various shops. The renovated rooms (except for the bathroom) are very clean. Very satisfactory short stay!

We just returned from our weekend in Milan. We chose this structure after wandering around various sites and I must say that we will recommend it to anyone who asks us where to stay in Milan. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, our room overlooked a quiet courtyard, and the bathroom towels were very soft. We were pleasantly surprised by the presence of a sink in the room since there is no necessary space in the bathroom (a nice solution). The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. As someone who is allergic, I tend to be a bit obsessive about dust and such. We had a great time and if we were to return to Milan, we would definitely stay in this small and delightful hotel just a short walk (5 minutes) from the Loreto metro stop (both red and green lines) which connects to Duomo, Central Station, and even the Navigli in about 10 minutes.

I have been returning to Anna and Antonio for two years now. They are always kind and helpful, and I feel great. We really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Malta. Great location and easy to walk and use the metro to get to all areas. The room was very comfortable, quiet and very clean. The hotel owners were lovely and made us feel welcome. A great cafe for breakfast was a 2 minute walk (great coffee) and a supermarket a 5 minute walk.

Red and green metro very close and convenient to reach the different areas of the city. Convenient structure to reach San Raffaele hospital. Too bad about the air conditioner's position blasting onto you as it's in front of the bed. It's a risk of an accident. The lack of an elevator is a real shame, although the steps are not high and didn't cause me problems for the two floors. I would come back for my trips to Milan (probably on Friday).

I stayed in this hotel for a concert at the La Maura racecourse. It is very convenient as it is close to the Loreto stop on the red line. Anna and Antonio were exceptional, friendly, and welcoming. I cannot give anything but the highest rating, there really was nothing to criticize. The fact that the room was on the third floor without an elevator could certainly be a limitation for some guests, but it was anticipated and therefore not a problem for us. If we then consider the number of stars of the structure and consequently the price, it deserves praise! Thank you for the stay, we will definitely be back.

Although it is a one-star hotel, the cleanliness of the single room and the proximity to Piazzale Loreto make it attractive. This Hotel was perfect for our needs. It was a basic hotel as we expected, but very clean and very comfortable hotel. The area was very quiet so we got a really good night's sleep. The room and the ensuite were both very spacious. Shutters, bedside lamps, lots of convenient electrical sockets and good supply of toiletries. It was about 17 mins walk from where the bus dropped us off from Bergamo airport, and about 3 minutes walk from a metro station to take us back into central Milan in the morning. It had a 24 hour reception which was great because our flight got in late, and if there had been any delays we would have arrived after midnight. Friendly, helpful staff who allowed us to leave our luggage for the day until we were leaving Milan at 5pm. Very happy with our stay.

Our stay at the Hotel Malta was a nice and pleasant experience. Hosts are very kind and helpful. The service is excellent, meeting the highest standards for cleanliness. The rooms are relatively small but charmingly designed. One thing that is missing is a common area. The garden is beautiful but not used at this time due to the weather. The location is excellent. Thanks to the two metro lines, it is well connected to all parts of the city, and you can also reach the city center with a pleasant walk. The neighborhood is nice, areas off the main street are lively, with lots of restaurants and bars in the area.

The hotel is in a great location, near the metro and the area is nice and safe. Walking distance to the Central train station - about 20 minutes. Nice cafes for breakfast around, shops and restaurants. Very clean room. Minus - the beds are really uncomfortable, unstable (it looks like they just put a mattress on the so-called "bed", but they are not made for each other, different sizes) and a bit narrow. For a bigger person, it would be a torture. And also - every time you leave the hotel, you have to leave the key at the reception. Every time. Which was very weird and it wastes your time. For this price, I would stay again at this hotel if the beds were better.

I believe that finding a hotel in Milan in this price range, a stone's throw from the very convenient Loreto, with such care and cleanliness and tranquility (the traffic is a few dozen meters away) is impossible: don't let yourself be influenced by the sign and the entrance, and let yourself be welcomed by Anna and Antonio. I was pleasantly impressed by the structure! The location is excellent and very close to the M1 and M2 metro junction. The structure is renovated, welcoming in its simplicity, and very clean! The structure is beautiful and the rooms are clean. Price within the norm. However, unacceptable behavior of the "porter" totally inadequate for such a role. We wanted to pay immediately and he refused, telling us we had to pay the next day. When asked to kindly book a taxi for 6 the next day, he replied that he would take care of it the next day and that the taxi would arrive in 4 minutes, however the next morning he was unable to call any taxi and made us risk missing the train we had at 6:45, luckily I managed to call the taxi just in time, and we boarded the train. Attitude totally to be reviewed, terrible.

It's not the first time we stayed at Hotel Malta. Outside the hotel there is a sign that says Hotel 1 star but I think it deserves many more. If you arrive from Central Station you can reach the hotel on foot in about 15-20 minutes. It's very easy to visit the whole city both by bike, by bus, and by subway given the proximity of Loreto station just 5 minutes away. Anna and Antonio are exquisite hosts. The rooms are very functional and room cleaning is done every day. There is a night concierge service, so you can sleep peacefully. Breakfast is not included in the price but Anna recommended a Bakery/Café on the corner of the same street, spectacular. Thank you Anna and Antonio. See you soon.

Comfortable room, with good furniture and extremely close to the subway station. You can also walk to the central train station, not too far. The only inconvenience in our case is that the room is on the 4th floor, without an elevator. Also, the water from the shower was not hot enough, as it was a hot day it was not a big problem, but I leave it as a note.

Clean and welcoming structure a stone's throw from Corso Buenos Aires. The boy who welcomed us was very kind. Mrs. Anna proved to be immediately available and affable, which certainly cannot be said of her husband (I believe) or of the gentleman who was there. Once we checked out, we left the structure as agreed at 11:00. We returned at 14:45 asking if we could stay in the structure until 17:00 in the small hall. Too bad he responded curtly saying that he had to work, as if we had asked to use the room after checking out! The fact is that despite the 45 degrees in the shade and after his very annoyed response 'what should I tell you', I took my suitcase and left. It was a gesture that I didn't like and besides, Mrs. Anna had already told me I could stay.

I booked for one night at Hotel Malta. The room assigned to me was on the third floor, a bit inconvenient because there is no elevator and it could be difficult if you have a heavy suitcase. The room itself was not bad: single bed, sink in the room, and a small bathroom with shower and bidet. I found the mattress on the bed a bit too soft, clearly it's a subjective matter. The courtesy set provided included a bar of soap and 10ml of shower gel-shampoo. Apart from this, I recommend Hotel Malta. It is centrally located and the price is optimal. For the price paid and for the location (Piazzale Loreto) is excellent. Certainly, being 1 star, it is penalized by the sink outside the bathroom and therefore directly in the room at the foot of the bed. Finally, good physical activity as there is no elevator and the steps are quite high, and if you end up on the third floor (which then there are 4 floors to climb because the reception is at -1) like me, you arrive with your tongue hanging out.

The Hotel Malta is nice and very clean. Unfortunately, it does not have an elevator, but it is written in the description. I didn't notice this detail as it is at the bottom of the page. They gave me a room on the top floor and I had difficulty going up. Patience, next time I will pay more attention before booking. In my opinion, the lack of elevator should be included at the beginning of the description and not at the end. The managers are friendly and kind. Very helpful.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and I wonder how it is possible that the property has only one star! It deserves much more! Always clean structure and super kind and friendly staff. Great location: close to Metro Loreto. Well-trafficked area and very peaceful. If I had to go back to Milan, I would definitely like to stay at the Hotel Malta again.

One-star structure, located in a small and pleasant neo-Gothic building recently restored on the outside and run by a kind and helpful couple. We appreciated the cleanliness of all the rooms and the friendliness of their managers. Our room was not very large, as well as the bathroom, with the sink in the room, but decent and extremely clean. The metro is located a few hundred meters away in Piazzale Loreto, two stops from Central Station. Breakfast is not provided, which you can have almost in front of Hotel Malta at a local bakery that also serves as a bar and focacceria, where you will find everything. We had a very good experience, considering that the quality-price ratio is really convenient.

The only small flaw: if you have a very large suitcase, notify the structure in advance to be placed on lower floors because there is no elevator. Hotel Malta with a great location, the only flaw being the lack of an elevator. I have traveled half the world and stayed in all kinds of hotels and I was impressed by the cleanliness, not found in the past in 5-star hotels. Truly enjoyable, compliments! I stayed for two nights at this Hotel Malta, a family-run establishment. I recommend it for the kindness and professionalism of the staff, for the fact that I found the room, the bathroom, and the other spaces of the hotel clean, and for the location, very close to Loreto metro station and also convenient to reach the central station (I walked there easily). It is not a luxury structure, but being economical it still has the advantage of being in an ideal location to reach strategic points of the city (in my case the Polytechnic), as well as public transport connections (Loreto metro). Breakfast is not provided and there is no elevator, the rooms are certainly basic (in mine there was a sink in the bedroom), but if you don't have excessive demands it's more than fine because it's very clean and well-kept, the staff is very kind and always present, and, I repeat, above all it has the advantage of being very economical.

Unfortunately, on the website the single rooms are all described in the same way. I booked the first one on the list and upon arrival I discovered it was on the 4th floor. The hotel has no elevator and the stairs are very steep, the manager didn't help me carry my luggage to the room so it was very tiring. I immediately asked if I could have another single room on a lower floor but he told me that I had booked that one so it was not possible to change, I pointed out that the floor of the room was not indicated and that in fact all the rooms were described in the same way but nothing. Going up, I find out that the wifi doesn't work, I contact him to come and check and remedy the situation but he says it works, no problems have been reported, despite all my attempts to connect being in vain (I understand that 4 steep floors of stairs are tiring to do even without luggage) he insists that there are no problems. On the last day when I'm about to leave, on the stairs I meet a lady who tells me that they checked and that the connection on the 4th floor doesn't work... it's hard not to feel fooled.

We stayed at Hotel Malta due to a concert in Milan. The doorman and the owners were very flexible with our schedules, both for the delayed check-in due to some of our delays, and on our return from the concert. Very clean facility. A 5-minute walk from Loreto metro station (red and green lines). We will definitely return for the next concert.

Important to note: - late and early check-in not really possible - people are expected to leave the room to allow them to be cleaned daily - not accessible for people with a wheelchair or with reduced mobility (many floors). The Hotel Malta is in a very convenient location if you arrive by train, close to the red and green metro lines that allow you to reach the whole city. My friends and I stayed here for a concert at San Siro and the staff was super helpful in holding our backpacks before check-in and staying open late at night when we returned. The area is very quiet and safe even after midnight. Since we had an early train in the morning, the caretaker called us a taxi that arrived immediately. The recently renovated room is very clean and there are also 3 towels for each person and air conditioning. If you want to find a flaw, there is no elevator but it was not a problem for us.

Quality-price ratio not adequate even though it was during the furniture week. The price of the double room was 225€ and the single room was 125€. I had a great time at Hotel Malta, especially because it is located in a strategic point, at the edge of the city center, yet still in the center. Very close to the metro station, Loreto, from where I could reach everything in 10-20 minutes. Another advantage is that it is very quiet, even though it is in the middle of the bustling center, which is always essential for me. So I was able to rest very well at night. I had a balcony overlooking a garden full of flowers this season, which cheered me up a lot. The cleanliness quality is impeccable. Anna, the owner, is very helpful and friendly! Everyone is very welcoming and available. They immediately offered to help with my heavy suitcase, so I didn't have to stress or bother about it. Nearby there is a supermarket, a stone's throw from the hotel there is a greengrocer, there are also pizzerias, restaurants, a bakery, and coffee bars for the morning coffee. Furthermore, comparing accommodation prices in Milan, it turns out to be an affordable accommodation. Previously, looking for accommodation at this price I only found hostel dormitory beds, which did not suit me at all. Instead, here at Hotel Malta, I had a room all to myself with a private bathroom for almost the same price! I am very happy to have chosen Hotel Malta, I was calm and serene. I heartily recommend it to all those who want to visit Milan, spending fairly and having everything they need, and a little more! Excellent choice!

Exceptional Hotel Malta, just a short walk from Loreto metro. Very nice room, spacious enough for one person. For cleanliness, I gave a 9 simply because I found the hairdryer a bit dusty, but acceptable, nothing glaring. The lady was very kind and extremely helpful from the first messages before arrival until departure. The price quality ratio is high, even though personally I paid a lot, but only because I booked 3 days before and because I happened to be there during the days of the Salone del Mobile. If I had booked earlier, I would have definitely found better prices. Unfortunately, breakfast was not included. I highly recommend Hotel Malta to everyone.

The Hotel Malta is located about 15 minutes walk from Piazzale Loreto, where the metro stop is located, and about 20 minutes walk from Milano Centrale station. The area is full of shops, bars, and markets. The manager is very friendly and the property is very clean. It's a pity that the Hotel does not provide breakfast service.

I can't believe it's just a one-star. Perhaps it's because there are some steps and this could be inconvenient for wheelchair users. But for everything else, it's perfect. Cleanliness, silence, a floor that I would personally like in my own home, air conditioning, heaters, a very large TV, helpful staff, and wifi. Everything seemed new, starting from the windows. The location is fantastic, literally a stone's throw from Corso Buenos Aires but at the same time not so close as to be noisy. I highly recommend it, I will definitely come back when needed.

Mi chiedo anch'io il motivo perché siamo una struttura ad una stella..come ben hai visto La nostra palazzina dovrebbe avere l ascensore dal secondo piano in poi, per avere almeno un altra stella. Poi ci sono alberghi senza il bidet alquanto importante, la legge dice si.. oltre a tante altre cose. Grazie per averci scelto, vi aspetto per un altra vacanzina a Milano. Anna.

Structure not particularly new, but renovated rooms. Our stay was short but we didn't have any problems. The staff is polite and helpful. Good location, a few steps from the metro station. Really cheap price.

Family-friendly and welcoming structure, strategically central and functional. In the area, it is also possible to park and the ticket is paid until 13 and afterwards it is free. Excellent! The breakfast is affected by covid regulations but the owner's availability is total. We are fully satisfied with the choice and the two nights spent at the Hotel Malta.

Great structure, just a few steps from the Loreto metro stop and in an area full of shops, restaurants, and bars. Owner available and friendly. Spacious room with a double bed, desk with 2 chairs, coat hanger, and bathroom with facilities plus shower. Excellent value for money. I recommend it.

We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Malta, easily reachable and in a great location for parking and using the red and green Metro lines. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast leaves something to be desired, but the managers are very courteous and helpful. Definitely worth considering for a future stay in Milan. The lack of an elevator greatly penalizes the structure which, in its simplicity, is still welcoming.

Impeccably clean hotel, perfect location to move freely with public transport in Milan and surroundings. Friendly staff, made me feel at home from the moment I arrived, when I return to Milan I have no doubts about which will be the first hotel I will contact. Hotel Malta nominally a 1-star but no less welcoming than other more titled structures. Family-run, freshly renovated, clean, quiet, very cheap, in a great location (a stone's throw from Piazza Loreto, where two Metro lines intersect). Having taken advantage of a particular last-minute discount, I was not entitled to breakfast: this is very understandable, but it was not clear during the booking process that the bed and breakfast would not offer breakfast (I never received a detailed summary of the reservation made, but only a confirmation that the room was available).

Great location near Loreto metro station and very close to Corso Buenos Aires. We stayed for 3 nights. Great value for money, clean and modern rooms. The owner, along with the night guard, was very helpful and friendly. The only downside was having the room on the fourth floor without an elevator, but nothing insurmountable. We will definitely come back. Thanks to the staff for taking care of us during our stay.

With this heat, we couldn't rest anymore.
