The design of the property

Description

Our bed and breakfast stands in the peacefull Oltrepò Pavese, in a detached house that has been recently tenovated. It hosts three large bedrooms with en-suite bathroom all on the first floor. The rooms can be set as double or twin and two of them can accomodate a third bed.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or in the garden, if the weather allous it. A confortable lounge were guest can read and converse is also available. The B&B has also a wide enclosed garden were guests can relax and children can lay safely. Internet connection is available. Internal parking area available upon request.

The B&B building is located within the ouner's winwey. Wine and food tastings are available upon request as well as tours of the vineyards and cellars. The ouner will accompany guests in the tours throughout the year, to let them experiencethe seasonal changes that contribute to vines and wines evolution.

In the area surrounding the B&B there are both rough and paved roads, perfect for fascinating walking or mountain-bike tours.

the high Oltrepò s easily accessible and full of charming villsges and castles.

The historic city of Pavia il 30-minutes by car from the village in which B&B is located. The A"! Torino-Piacenza highway is about a 10-minut s drive.

Milan is about 70 Km from the B&B

The B&B Gli Acini is located within the Antonio Dellabianca winery, which was established in the late 1800s. Since then, it has been passed down from father to son. It is a small company where vineyards and wine production are carefully managed, combining ancient traditions with modern technologies.

Guests of the B&B can, upon request, enjoy guided tours of the vineyards at various stages of the grape-growing cycle. They can also visit the cellar and taste the wines produced by the company, guided by the owner who is not only an agricultural expert but also a sommelier certified by the Italian Sommelier Association.

Nice hospitality without formalities. Unfortunately, rain and bad weather did not allow me to appreciate the location. Having to move daily towards the Po and return in the evening, not knowing the area and the roads well, it seemed a bit tortuous to me.

We stayed at the B&B Gli Acini in the context of the 'Cantine Aperte 2015' event, what to say? The owners are exquisite people as much as their spectacular wines. The structure, recently renovated with all the comforts, is located in a hilly landscape that can easily compete with the Tuscan one. Highly recommended for couples but also for families with children.

It is one of the most welcoming establishments I have ever been to. The cleanliness is impeccable, the quality of sleep is excellent, the rooms are spacious, charming, and well-heated. The picturesque setting in which it is located and the courtesy of the owners complete the excellence of a B&B dedicated to those who want to travel a few extra miles to relax and feel like a welcomed guest.
