Description

The Fiordiloto B&B is located in the city center, in the area of Piazza Virgiliana, 100 meters from the parking lot and 300 meters from Lake Mezzo. It is within walking distance of the Ducal Palace and the San Giorgio Castle: its convenient location allows easy access to the main tourist attractions in just a few minutes on foot.

It is situated in a quiet and peaceful narrow street, in a restricted traffic area.

The premises are distributed on the ground floor and first floor of a 700s cottage, which have been completely renovated and inaugurated in April 2014. The expansion was completed in 2018.

The rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and elegant, furnished with refurbished antique furniture skillfully reinterpreted in a modern style.

The ceilings are very high and the windows are large.

The B&B consists of an entrance, a cozy breakfast room, two large rooms on the ground floor, and a suite, on the first floor. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, which are newly built. There is no elevator.

Bicycles can be stored in the courtyard.

Garage parking is available for a small/medium-sized car at an additional cost.

Feeling at home is the deepest impression. The house is very close to the center, right next to a tree-lined square where you can rest upon returning. The setting is very quiet and peaceful. We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism. The manager, while respecting privacy, was always present for any needs. We chose to have breakfast at the facility and even in this case we couldn't have been treated better. We will definitely recommend this B&B.

The staff is very kind and friendly, very helpful. The room is very beautiful and clean, the bathroom spacious and comfortable. If I were to return to Mantova, I would certainly want to come back here. I did not review the breakfast because I chose an option without breakfast included.

We stayed at this B&b on the occasion of New Year's Eve 2024/2025. The structure is very beautiful and welcoming. The cleanliness of the rooms is very good. The owner, Mrs. Cristina, is very kind and helpful. The location of the B&b is optimal: with a few steps, you reach Sordello square. Highly recommended.

Great location: a stone's throw from the center and parking nearby (Piazza Virgiliana). Perfect cleanliness. Decent breakfast. Unfortunately, the mattresses were uncomfortable for us and the pillows were too low, two each but insufficient. However, thinking back, the price is a bit high.

Like at home! Mrs. Cristina, with her smile and her courtesy, immediately makes you feel welcome! The structure is very well cared for, thanks to the attentive and present owner, but with gentle discretion! It was a pleasure to meet her and I definitely recommend this house as a base for visiting the city. Moreover, it is just a stone's throw from the center and the parking on the green Virgiliana square is very convenient.

We stayed there for 3 days and felt very comfortable. The owner Cristina is very kind and helpful. Once in the mornings she prepared the breakfast (coffee, cappuccino), otherwise we managed very well on our own. The room and the kitchen are very well equipped and everything worked. Every day Cristina prepares the room, great service. The B&B is centrally located and is 10 minutes walk from the Palazzo Ducale. We will gladly come back.

The structure is very pleasant and very clean (the area is quiet and you sleep very well), the owner is very kind and very helpful, the only downside is the not very central location: to walk to Piazza Sordello and all there is to see you have to walk just under ten minutes. However, it remains an opportunity to see other things like the Virgilian Gardens and the Lungomincio.

I stayed for 4 days and I had a great time. The owner Cristina is very kind. In the morning she prepares breakfast (coffee, cappuccino) and also provides cakes. The structure is very nice, well furnished, and the services are working. Every day the lady empties the bins in the room and tidies up the room. The B&B is a 7-minute walk from Piazza Sordello and 15 minutes from the train station. It is close to the beautiful Piazza Virgiliana and the walk along Lago di Mezzo. If I were to come back to Mantova, I already know where to go with confidence!

Very central location near Piazza Virgiliana, very convenient for parking as the property is located in a ZTL zone. This makes the place very peaceful. New and very clean structure, and the highlight is Mrs. Cristina who welcomes you excellently and makes you feel at home. In the morning she prepares a great and abundant breakfast and gives you advice on where to eat and what to visit. We recommend it to everyone for a holiday in Mantova. We hope to return soon.

The only problem is the sound isolation of the rooms: you can hear even the words of the occupants in the adjacent room, especially since the B&B Fiordiloto is located in a very quiet area at all hours.

I booked the Fiordiloto B&B for my father during the All Saints' Day weekend and I must say that both my father and his partner were very happy with the chosen accommodation. The owner of the property is really kind and super attentive to everything. The breakfast is very abundant and varied. The B&B is very close to the center of Mantua and the train station. Structure to recommend. The only problem is the internet, especially in the room, it doesn't work. Fantastic location, just a stone's throw from the Ducal Palace and therefore from the center. Quiet and peaceful alley, you sleep very well. The owner is very kind. It was a pleasant stay.

Excellent location with public parking about 150 m from the B&B, the lady came to welcome us and give us suggestions. New, renovated, clean apartment and fully equipped. Convenient to explore Mantova on foot or by public transport, purchased Mantova Card, which offered discounts and free access to museums, buses, and more in Mantova and Sabbioneta. I recommend this B&B, the 'Al Quadrato' Restaurant Pizzeria for seafood, pizza, and Mantuan cuisine, and the visit to Sabbioneta.

Clean, welcoming and very close to the city center, nearby car parks. The managers are really kind and helpful, always ready to help and advise. Spacious room, with all the necessary comforts (air conditioning, TV, plenty of linen). Rich breakfast, possibility to manage it as you like. Very affordable price!

Our stay at Fiordiloto was perfect: Cristina, the owner, is helpful, polite, and prepares very tasty and varied sweet and savory breakfasts; the B&B has a great location, both for its short distance from the train station, which is within walking distance, and for its proximity to Piazza Sordello and therefore to Palazzo Ducale and all the attractions of Mantua (just a few minutes on foot). The property is definitely clean and quiet, with all the amenities.

Cristina welcomed us very well. She spent some time explaining and helping. Very nice room and house, in a typical Italian place. Quiet and comfortable thanks to the nice air conditioning during our hot temperature stay. She also managed our car access through the ZTL very conveniently. Many thanks to her! Even if her French was poor, she did her best and we have appreciated. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

We spent 4 pleasant nights in this establishment. The room was very clean, the shower very nice, everything was prepared with care. We also liked the small adjacent kitchen, where we could make tea, there was room in the fridge for our snacks. The room is located on the courtyard side, which guarantees peace and quiet. There was a good place in the locked courtyard for our 2 bicycles. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. Mrs. Cristina was very kind and nice and also surprised us with a homemade cake. The proximity to the center, the train station, the promenades along the Mincio river, and a beautiful large park is very convenient. We were very satisfied.

We stayed at the B&B in the winter season, the owner was very courteous from the moment of booking providing us with all the necessary information and clarifications we requested. Upon our arrival, she welcomed us with an aperitif and showed us the room. It is located in an ancient building but the room is very modern and well furnished, excellent cleanliness and privacy as it is isolated from other rooms. Breakfast can be consumed directly in the room thanks to the presence of a kitchen and biscuits, snacks, and hot drinks of all kinds, furthermore the owner brings fresh bread in the morning and if desired takes care of the room cleaning. In conclusion, I highly recommend staying at this Bed and Breakfast also for the excellent location in which it is located.
