Das sagen die Gäste

Reviews highlight the excellent location—close to the lake, train station, and city center—as a top feature. Guests praise the cleanliness, modern design, and overall comfort of the property. The hosts are described as friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is often rated as plentiful and tasty. Some feedback mentions smaller room sizes and strict house rules, but overall, travelers find the value for money to be very good and would recommend the property for both short and longer stays.

We had a good stay. We will definitely come back next time.

stayed from 06/19/2026 to 06/22/2026

The answer from the host:

coralie

Very pleasant stay at Marianna's. She is very helpful, everything is very clean. The breakfast is varied and very good.

Unbeatable location in Como, very close to the lake and the funicular. Four-minute walk from the Como Lago train station, close to the Cathedral and its charming side streets. The host provided many excellent restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay again.

The answer from the host:
Dear Greg...I'm sorry I don't deserve a higher rating in your review...we began our conversation months before your arrival to offer you various suggestions...what was not to your liking about our abundant breakfast? And about cleaning of your room? We accommodated all your requests and we are very sorry you didn't like it (you asked early breakfast all morning and you found all in your room)....We can't change the time of breakfast and if we arrive too early (at 7) we disturbe all other guests with the noise of the kitchen ...we must follow our rules and you found them when you choose where to book

elodie

The property is one block from the lakeside, from a supermarket and various restaurants and bars. Really great location, although very close, it is not chaotic. The room was clean, the bathroom stunning, breakfast excellent and abundant. When we arrived on Easter Sunday, the owner had left us a little gift with cookies, chocolate eggs, and prosecco.

The room is not very large, but the first impression is pretty. A lot of rules for the stay are not right, the hostess sent me about 15 messages, it is very tiring. For breakfast, good coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, old biscuits, one portion of 15 grams of butter for two, not fresh croissants, some other pastries, we did not take, and yogurt. The price for the winter period is normal.

stayed from 01/10/2025 to 01/13/2025

The answer from the host:
This review isn't right! You had the room that you choosed and you had all information about it, it was very clean and sanificate before your arrive so i don't understand the vote for the cleaning of your room. The breakfast is a large italian breakfast with fresh food from the backery and we haven't any old sweets, you choosed only croissant, panettone and bread...you ate everything without any complaints and several cups of coffee (if you wanted more butter why don't ask me other butter?) Our rules are normal rules about time of check out, breakfast...i sent only the messages to arrive and enter and i don't still stress our guests I don't understand your bad review and i'm very sad to read your words.
