Description

The Bed and Breakfast “Cascina delle mele” is located in an ancient farmhouse, recently renovated reclaiming the original materials.

We offer our guests four spacious, quiet rooms tastefully furnished, each one with its private bathroom, tv color and Internet connection. The self-heating in winter and self-cooling in summer guarantees a wonderful comfort the all year round.

We serve breakfast in our welcoming dining room and, during the summer, in the large loggia of the farmhouse.

At your disposal a large, free car-park.

We are ready to give our guests a ride to Vittuone’s train station, from which you can get to the Rho Fiera fairground in a 15 minutes journey.

In each room you will find:
Bed linens and towels, changed at least every 3 days
Hairdryer
Kettle for tea and coffee
Set of soap, shampoo, body wash and body lotion
Option to add a third bed or a crib.

Breakfast

We offer tasty cakes and desserts, bread, jams and yogurt. The fruit comes from our orchard, and the honey is from our beehives.

We are pleased if you enjoy your breakfast! You can choose between espresso or long coffee, decaffeinated coffee and cappuccino, different types of tea and herbal infusions. The milk is always fresh.

Our homemade yogurt goes well with our preserves.

And apple or orange juice is always on the table.

A few years ago, I made the decision to move from the city of Milan to the countryside. Together with my husband Stefano, we found this large farmhouse with a hectare of land, which immediately won us over because, despite being close to the city, it is immersed in the countryside. Additionally, on clear days, you can see the Monte Rosa mountain in all its splendor.

The farmhouse has been completely renovated, and we live in it, sharing the building with a young family.

The space is so spacious that we thought of using some of the rooms in the house for hospitality.

This is how the B&B Cascina delle mele was born.

The hectare of land has become an orchard, so we can offer our guests organic fruit produced by us, as well as homemade preserves.

Being only 10Kms from Rho Fiera fairground, 12 Km from Milano, 30 minutes by car from Malpensa Airport and at a walking distance from il Destriero Shopping Mall, la Cascina delle mele is very conveniently located.

The farmhouse is in the middle of the Parco Agricolo Milano Sud, an agricultural area surrounding the south-west side of the city of Milano and it is close to the Ticino river with its wonderful Natural Reserve (il Parco del Ticino) and its network of waterways (i Navigli) with Robecco, Gaggiano, Cassinetta di lugagnano, Morimondo and Vigevano.

I stayed for work reasons, unfortunately I couldn't fully enjoy this splendid place. The sisters who manage the Cascina delle Mele are very friendly and efficient. The structure is clean, welcoming, and spacious, I would gladly return. Buy their preserves: they are sublime.

The structure is a bit out of the way, the access road does not give much hope, but once you arrive everything changes. A beautiful complex recently renovated, immersed in greenery, a stone's throw from Milan. Rooms always clean and tidy, breakfast included in the price is excellent (you communicate to the lady at what time you want to have breakfast and it is prepared promptly). Nothing to say about the beds, the mattresses are very comfortable, and the tranquility of the place ensures a peaceful sleep.
