Casa Melina is located in the enchanting setting of Lake Como, perched on a hill in the village of Viano (a fraction of Tremezzo). Viano is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and can only be reached on foot, making it an oasis of tranquility for those who want to spend a relaxing vacation.

The property offers a spectacular view of the lake surrounded by majestic mountains. It is a starting point for trekking, including the 10km long "greenway" where you can admire beautiful views of the lake. Interesting bike routes can also be taken (e-bikes are recommended) with the possibility of renting them in nearby Tremezzo.

Casa Melina is of particular scenic interest and a strategic starting point for visiting the important neighboring towns: Menaggio (6 km), Bellagio and Varenna (reachable by lake), Lenno (3 km), Como (25 km), Lugano (30 km).

In Tremezzo, you can visit the beautiful and famous Villa Carlotta, surrounded by its spectacular 70,000 square meter garden filled with tropical plants and an extraordinary citrus pergola. In spring, it is famous for the blooming rhododendrons and over 150 varieties of azaleas, a unique flower show that colors the entire park. Inside the villa, you can enjoy the museum featuring valuable artworks by Canova, Hayez, and Thorvaldsen.

In Lenno, you can visit Villa Balbianello, owned by FAI, located on the tip of the peninsula surrounded by its beautiful English garden and a simply unique lakefront terrace that offers breathtaking views.
