Description

Campaciol is an old cottage, first built in 1864. The renovation, completed in 2010, has given new life to its centenary wooden rooms. Great attention has been paid to recovering original materials, using eco-friendly goods and renewable energy.

This mountain lodge is located at the border of Livigno, at 1900 meters above sea level, 5 km from the town center. The bus stop is just 20 meters far away so that you can hop on the free bus at any time of the year to get to the village and the ski slopes in a matter of minutes. The so called "Sctua dala Pigna" is the heart of the house! Surrounded by the warmth of a stone stove, you can have your breakfast and enjoy moments of relaxation and entertainment.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building and there is also a cosy reading corner for you. Just outside the chalet, you can enjoy the pristine nature of our valley during all seasons.

From Campaciol you can access directly the cross-country trail as well as numerous walks that lead to enchanting places all year round.

The breakfast at Campaciol allows you to taste ancient flavors, it is abundant and above all genuine!

Campaciol is located at an altitude of 1900 meters at the southern end of the Livigno valley towards the Forcola pass that leads to Switzerland. In the vicinity of the house, there are walks and trails to explore on foot or by bike to suit all tastes. Enchanting forests, streams, alpine lakes, and waterfalls, as well as mountain roads, quickly lead to both the center of the town of Livigno and the nearby Engadine or Bormio with its renowned thermal baths. Right in front of the Campaciol house, in winter, the cross-country ski trail starts with a loop immersed in silence and framed by mountains!

Great week spanning the New Year in this splendid rustic setting. The scent of the wood and the warmth of the pellet stove in the anteroom and the stove in the stube helped soothe the pleasant returns from the walks my wife and I took and from the children's daily ski outings. The very good cakes prepared by the Zini family with typical local products at breakfast delighted the palate from early in the morning. The herbal teas and mint liqueurs made by Livia and, above all, the lack of a TV encouraged evening reading. Thank you for everything.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. Beautiful property decorated with vintage objects and photographs from the Livigno tradition. Spacious and welcoming room, new bathroom equipped with everything. Comfortable beds and impeccable cleanliness. The host is helpful and polite. The breakfast is not very plentiful, but still satisfying.

The bed and breakfast Campaciòl is a special accommodation, different from the usual hospitality structures. It is a renovated and restored house according to its original layout, dating back to 1864. The interior is a magical place, it feels like going back in time. The location is a bit decentralized but precisely for this reason you experience a unique experience: the silence upon waking, the peace of the place, the free buses every 15 minutes that take you to Livigno (6 km). The manager, Lorenzo, is very friendly and always ready to give you excellent advice to help you have the best holiday possible. The breakfast is abundant and intimate (the structure has only 3 rooms and the hall is not crowded), surrounded by wood, stone, and in winter by the typical stove of the place. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone. We will definitely return. Best regards.

If you've been there, you can't wait to go back. Clean, warm and decent environment; abundant breakfast with cereals, cookies, yogurt from Latteria di Livigno; fabulous sandwiches with their homemade jams, Nutella for the sweet-toothed and a different cake made by them every day, different because they are so good that there's none left for the next day. Panoramic view from the rooms of the mountains not to be missed. All this at a fair price. I left the owners for last because Lorenzo, his wife and their three little kids deserve an applause and a special recognition. Extremely kind and helpful at all times. Thanks again Lorenzo and we hope to see you again next year.

Very relaxing stay immersed in nature. Manager very friendly like the whole family. We noticed that in Livigno construction has increased significantly (unfortunately), the mountain atmosphere should be maintained and the town should not be turned into a city.

We had a holiday just as we dreamed, in a 'timeless' structure. A renovated chalet skillfully maintained to keep its 160-year history alive, with all the details of the era in place. The hospitality of Lorenzo and his family allowed us to feel at home, pampered and independent at the same time. The cycle path starts from the house gate and leads everywhere in the valley; from here, numerous paths start for wonderful walks. You can forget about the car and feel part of nature. The breakfast is rich and abundant, with local zero-kilometer products. We will definitely come back!

Thank you Lorenzo for the perfect welcome. We appreciated your kindness and availability! Your Bed & Breakfast is a true oasis immersed in the snow of the beautiful valley of Livigno. Just a stone's throw from the center of Livigno, easily reachable with the free bus! Very familiar atmosphere: we met your beautiful family, heartfelt compliments! The warmth of the fireplace, which welcomes the guest every evening, warms the soul and mind! The structure has 3 very comfortable and spacious rooms. We had the quadruple room with attic loft: an ideal solution for a family of 4 people! At breakfast there was everything one could expect: homemade cake, various types of bread, jams, butter and yogurt from the Livigno dairy, cereals, local cheeses and, not to be missed, the typical Bresaola! We licked our lips. Thank you again for everything, we will definitely come back.

We booked our little vacation at the B&B Campaciòl with our 3-year-old child. We had a great time, the accommodation is very nice and cozy, the staff is family-friendly and very helpful. The only small flaw was the scanty breakfast. Otherwise, I highly recommend it to everyone! Thanks again to the very kind and friendly owners.

A true house in Livigno style, with well-furnished, comfortable, welcoming rooms and a magical scent of Swiss stone pine! Located in a quiet area, away from the chaos, it is ideal for those seeking tranquility and peace, as it is on the road to the Forcola Pass, which is closed in winter. Congratulations to the host for the extraordinary alpine breakfast, ranging from sweet to savory. Many traditional and curious objects placed here and there, books, photos, rocking chair: the children were happy! More than positive experience, we will definitely return! Very beautiful!

I was a guest for a short time and I must say that I left reluctantly. The environment is unique, from the outside it looks like an old cabin with shelter for animals, but as soon as you enter, the furnishings catapult you into the history of the mountains. You immediately perceive a skillful conservative restoration. The warmth of the furnishings gives you a sense of protection towards the harsh external environment, pampered by very comfortable beds and duvets, renovated bathroom equipped with all comforts and independent heating in all rooms. To conclude, the kind manager and the excellent and genuine breakfast enriched with all local products, enjoyed in a splendid all-wooden room.
