Via Giacomo Quarenghi is one of the earliest streets of Bergamo and takes its name from the famous architect that was born here. The first section of the street, where Bergamo Sottosopra bed and breakfast is located, is a dynamic area with numerous shops and restored historical buildings. Within walking distance from Bergamo's main street, via XX Settembre, it’s possible to visit the city by foot and to discover one of the many local restaurants located in the city centre. Excellent location, easy self-check-in. We had a very quiet and comfortable sleep. We also liked the balcony with its view, art books & magazines, various mocca makers and coffee for use in the kitchen. The hosts put together personal city tips that come in handy. Everything was provided and the communication with the host was personal and super friendly.

We had a very nice and clean room in the apartment. However it could have been a bit more spacious.
The location of the apartment was great. Within 3 minutes we were in the city center and the old town was also in a walking distance (ca. 20 minutes).
The owner was really nice and helpful. She provided a great description of how to enter the apartment and of the parking possibilities around.

I stayed for 2 nights and I was highly satisfied. The communication with the owner was good and the location is very convenient (11min from the train station and 15min to città alta). The hire provides basic kitchen appliances like moka pot, coffee etc. Most of all, the cleanness is the top!

The location was fantastic for visiting Bergamo. The host was very accommodating, especially as I had a foot injury and needed a shower rather than a bath. This was arranged without any issues. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. However, the hosts provided us with two fans.

It was super clean, had a charming balkony snd view in the cute backyard, we felt instantly very comfortable there! Nice and kind contact, very uncomplicated and located really central! We wer every happy with our stay.

No hustle, self check-in. Ideal room for simply staying the night, as we used all the time in Bergamo to walk the city, we only slept at the location. Never met the host in person, but they were communicative via WhatsApp and suggested a local restaurant when asked, spoke fluent English. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean and cosy B&B; we had a very good stay there. We only met one of the owners, Ambra, but she was extremely open, friendly and helpful. The rooms are decorated with love. The location is very practical, as the B&B is close to the city centre and the station, although the street itself is not the most beautiful one in wonderful Bergamo. All in all we were very happy with our choice. A few things that you might want to know beforehand: The two rooms that we had share a (large and clean) bathroom - which was perfectly OK for us. The breakfast is mainly an 'Italian stylè one, meaning that it is rather simple and predominantly sweet (cake, biscuits) - for Italy, where breakfast is not as important as in other countries, it was very good. And it is a self-service breakfast: Everything is set up in the kitchen, you can toast bread, take anything you want from the fridge, make your own coffee etc.
But once again: We thought this was a wonderful B&B at a reasonable price!

Sehr gemütliches, ruhiges und sehr sauberes B&B in Gehdistanz zum Bahnhof, der zentralen Altstadt mit Einkaufsmeile und vielen hübschen Restaurants.
Super Betreuung durch die Betreiber Ambra und Nicola (mail-Verkehr in Italienisch oder Spanisch, Empfang bei der Ankunft, Tipps und Hinweis zur Stadt, Hilfe bei Fragen,...) in charmanter und herzlicher gastfreundschaftlicher Art.
Eine voll eingerichtete Küche mit Kochutensilien, Mocca-Maschinen und diversen Frühstücks-Lebensmitteln (frischen Früchten, Eiern, Joghurt, Milch, Butter,...) stehen zur Verfügung - einzig frisches Brot muss in einer der nahe gelegenen Bäckereien besorgt werden.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen - herzliche Dank an Ambra & Nicola, jederzeit gerne wieder!

Un lugar limpio y acogedor, con multitud de pequeños detalles para que te sientas confortable y relajado. El "check in" de Ambra (Persona encargada) es muy coherente con todos estos detalles buscando en todo momento que todo esté a tu gusto y aportando información relevante sobre Bergamo, sus gentes y alrededores. Ottima l’assistenza a distanza dell’host. Il remote check-in a volte ‘spaventa’, ma Ambra è stata presente in ogni momento e per ogni necessità accompagnandomi passo passo! I proprietari sono gentilissimi, disponibili e molto simpatici. Le stanze pulite e accoglienti con con dei colori allegri. Si trova in zona centrale da cui puoi raggiungere facilmente le vie più belle di Bergamo. Tutto davvero ottimo.

Il bed & breakfast è accogliente, pulito e confortevole! La posizione è ottima. La struttura è tranquilla, le stanze sono ben illuminate e hanno colori vivaci! I proprietari sono davvero gentili e disponibili per ogni evenienza! Lo consiglio vivamente!

Struttura molto accogliente e pulita. Personale davvero gentile e cordiale (grazie di tutto Elisabetta). Posizione perfetta; l'unica nota negativa è il wifi cioè non prendeva nella stanza matisse dove ho alloggiato io però nelle zone comuni aveva un'ottima ricezione. Complessivamente, ci ritornerei, mi sono sentita come a casa!

Solo un piccolo dettaglio che non modifica il mio giudizio finale: non ho trovato il sapone in bagno. Viaggiando in aereo ho evitato di portarmi prodotti liquidi al seguito. Ringrazio ancora per la cordialità e la pazienza.
