Beautiful structure just a few minutes from Pavia. Very welcoming environment, spacious room, and clean and tidy bathroom. Excellent abundant breakfast with a wide choice. Francesco is a caring and super-kind host.

Francesco is a great host. Nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, fresh fruit, ham, cheese, ricotta, melon, croissants, cake... everything is top notch.

We stayed only one night but we had a great time, the room was clean and very spacious. Mr. Francesco was very kind and accommodating to our needs. My daughter is celiac and was able to have a good breakfast. It is very close to Pavia.

Highly recommended place. The owner is kind and thorough with any request. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, believe us, we are cleanliness maniacs. The buffet breakfast is rich and very good. Room with minibar stocked with water kindly offered by the owner, kettle with tea and various herbal teas, table where you can comfortably have breakfast in the room, towels (shower towel, bidet towel, and hand towel) clean for each guest in the room (we were 3). Do we really want to find a flaw? 😂 There were no hair caps. Everything was truly perfect.

The structure is convenient for accessing Pavia and the clinics in the area without entering the city, which leads to parking problems and high prices. There should be a sign indicating the rooms located on the 1st floor but without an elevator.

The structure is new and clean, convenient both to the highway and to reach the city of Pavia. Soundproof rooms equipped with double windows that do not let you hear the noise coming from the provincial road. Our room, a quadruple, was very spacious. Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful managers.

The structure: our room: comfortable, cozy, and very clean, a modern and bright bathroom with a French window and a balcony, a large breakfast room, a private parking behind the house; nice furniture everywhere. The breakfast: well presented and abundant, with cakes, croissants, jams, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juices: what more could you ask for? And the welcome? Five stars! Francesco is a discreet, very active, effective, and caring host. You are not just welcomed: you are pampered! I recommend it!

We stayed as a family with a dog in the blue room, a spacious room with comfortable beds. The house is located on a thoroughfare, so it is too noisy with the window open. For traveling and a detour to Pavia, it was perfect. Francesco is a attentive host, the cappuccino was delicious.

Francesco welcomed us very well, large comfortable room and impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bed and plentiful and quality breakfast. Easy to find and quick access by car to Pavia. We recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

We booked this B&B for one night and everything was more than good. The hospitality, the room, and the breakfast definitely deserve more than a 10! The room is super clean.

House and room impeccable. Warm welcome. Very tidy room with antique furniture, air conditioning, balconies and large bathroom. Parking at the back. Close to large shops and supermarket. 10 minutes from the city center, very easy to access. Good value for money.

Structure located 10 minutes by car from the center of Pavia; the room and the bathroom are very spacious and clean, the breakfast is abundant and varied, the host is a very kind and helpful person. I highly recommend it. Excellent value for money.

All good, kind people, complete breakfast, clean and pleasant rooms. The only downside, if you can call it that, is the location on a very busy street and the limited parking.

Apart from the location, which is not central, I can only express myself positively. Excellent management, spacious environments, rooms equipped with everything necessary: minibar, air conditioning, bathroom products, kettle for teas. Comfortable bed, nice balcony, clean room.

We had an extremely comfortable and large room, also a very large bathroom, even equipped with a balcony. A warm and friendly welcome and an excellent breakfast leave nothing to be desired. I can wholeheartedly recommend this B&B. The inner city of romantic Pavia is just about 3 km away, however it is not walkable, as there is no sidewalk along the road, which anyway passes through a commercial area (there might be an alternative sidewalk, but we didn't inquire, as we had the car anyway). The car, by the way, can be parked in the courtyard, or if the four spots are taken, there is another space right next to the house. All in all, excellent.

B&B Paola e Francesco I would say perfect! Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, double windows for noise reduction, air conditioning, mini fridge in the room and kettle with herbal teas available, TV and parking. I would say that more services like these cannot be asked for! It's the first time I find mattresses and pillows so comfortable! We couldn't enjoy breakfast as we had early commitments, but from what I saw it would have been very varied and surely good. If we were to pass by Pavia again, we will definitely return. Small curiosity, antique and well-kept furnishings, which can be purchased, truly a special and very interesting thing.

We stayed the night between the 8th and 9th of December and we had a great time. Strategic position of the property to visit Pavia even though it's not in the city center. Beautiful warm and welcoming rooms and very kind reception and treatment. Congratulations to the managers. Highly recommended.

There is little to say. Everything is ok, starting from Mr. Francesco who is a polite and helpful person. Apartment equipped with all the comforts. You feel at home. Highly recommended!

Strategic location, from which you can easily reach Pavia by car in a few minutes. The manager Mr. Francesco is professional, very kind and helpful in giving good advice to visitors. He also left us, at no extra cost, a larger room than the one booked, as it was available at the time. The environment is nice and very clean; breakfast offers various alternatives.

Congratulations on the management. It's the first time a manager has called us at home to provide us with all the information, and even once we arrived, Francesco was very helpful in giving us all the tips for our bike tours. The room was cozy and clean, as well as the bathroom. Despite the proximity of the road, in the room with the windows closed, no noise was heard. For breakfast, good and varied with fresh homemade cakes (by Francesco). Pavia is reachable by car in 10 minutes. We highly recommend it.

Excellent welcome, lovely and clean structure. I traveled with a bicycle, stored in the garage and had the opportunity to wash and dry technical clothing. Perfect. To recommend.

At the beginning of September, my daughter and I stayed at the Bed & Breakfast of Paola and Francesco. My daughter had to take various entrance exams for the University (Medicine) as well as for the Pavia student residences. I myself graduated 30 years ago from that University in Medicine. While she was taking the exams, I was cycling in the beautiful Ticino surroundings (Francesco is also bike-friendly). Besides the courtesy, competence, and seriousness of the hosts, I would like to add a little something extra. My daughter is not exactly what one would call a "bookworm", but she managed to get into that faculty, particularly Medicine and Surgery. We had a good experience and we recommend this accommodation to all students who passionately want to embark on this challenging study path. So, if you want to pass the entrance exams, especially for Medicine, stay at Paola and Francesco - purple room - and you will not be disappointed.

I stayed with my wife during the exhibition on the Lombards at B&B Paola e Francesco, the owner is a special person, very kind, extremely helpful, very cordial, but at the same time not invasive, on the contrary, very discreet. In every possible way, he tries to please the customer with requested information and suggestions. The rooms are well furnished, cozy and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. I can only hope that it remains as it is now, and if I happen to be in the Pavia area again, I will certainly return to this property. Congratulations.

I stayed at the Bed & Breakfast Paola and Francesco for 2 nights because I had to take an entrance test in Pavia. Although Pavia was almost fully booked during that period, Francesco managed to find a solution for me; not only that: he personally picked me up from the station and the next day, together with his wife, offered to accompany me and other students to the test venue. The property is extremely clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. The location is quite far from the center but easily reachable by bus that stops just a few steps from the Bed and Breakfast (you can ask Francesco for any details on which lines to take). Right in front of the B&B, there is a supermarket that can always come in handy. The breakfast is delicious and well assorted.

Random the choice to extend the day away from the crowded Ligurian August, random the crossing of the Apennines and equally the choice of the structure, located in a strategic place between Pavia and the hills of Oltrepo.\n\nIn these cases, finding a decent room available at an adequate price is already a success, especially for four people and at 9 in the evening! Francesco on the phone is kind and in person confirms this feeling. The house where we are welcomed is a small oasis of tranquility, the spacious room is furnished with personality. The coolness of the air conditioners is the ideal antidote to the summer heat of the Po Valley at this time. The services of this B&B are undoubtedly superior to what one would normally expect: comfortable beds, quality sheets and the right amount of towels, a large and well-structured bathroom, double windows that isolate from the traffic of the nearby main road, free and powerful wi-fi, a minibar in the room, a folder with tourist tips and the map of Pavia, but above all the initiative of Francesco who turns out to be more efficient than many category concierges and who, in the time of a quick shower, organizes dinner for us in a local trattoria, even though it is already quite late.\n\nAnother pleasant surprise is the breakfast the next morning, in a spacious and bright common room, tastefully furnished and made pleasant by the hum of the indispensable air conditioner. No more snacks and discount snacks, here are the homemade cakes, the small pastry shop, all of excellent quality, much more than one would expect.\n\nWe realize that the B&B in Siccomario was crucial in turning a spontaneous escape "away from the mad crowd" into a moment of relaxation and pleasure, making the mountain walks of the previous day and the visits to vineyards and wineries of the following day the ideal combination for these two days.\n\nWith cold cuts, cheeses, and sparkling wine, souvenirs of the journey, stowed in the trunk of the car, we face the views that from Bobbio bring us back to Genoa, after the ups and downs that, passing through Varzi, have taken us to the highest passes. After the summer climatic excesses, we will definitely return to these parts, now with greater pleasure, with the awareness of having a reference for overnight stays where to go "for sure".
