"Bed and Breakfast e Movimento" is located just a short walk from the Bernina Express train station in the historic center of Tirano, at the Milanese Gate, the ancient entrance to the walls of Tirano.

It has 3 rooms, including 2 double rooms and 1 twin room with single beds. 2 rooms have a private bathroom, located outside the room. Bed and breakfast formula with abundant Italian-style breakfasts.

Bicycles are available free of charge for all guests who wish to explore the Valtellina trail or any other off-road route in the area.

Tirano is an excellent starting point for food and wine, landscape, sports and cultural tourism.
From Tirano you can catch Bernina Express Train (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the famous panoramic train that crosses the Swiss Alps and reaches St. Moritz.
In Tirano you can visit the Sanctuary of Madonna di Tirano, a pilgrimage destination for the apparition of the virgin in 1504. You can also visit the historic center and its palaces, including Palazzo Salis.
Tirano is located in the middle of apple orchards and vineyards, which make Valtellina famous for its fine wines (Sforzato and Valtellina Superiore) and offer beautiful walks (from Tirano along the Wine Trail) that also reaches Teglio, where you can taste pizzoccheri, buckwheat pasta topped with bitto and casera.
Tirano is also along the Sentiero Valtellinese, the cycle path that from Colico also reaches Bormio, famous for its thermal waters.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying with Mrs. Anna in her lovely home. Our train arrived in Tirano close to 22:00, but Mrs. Anna still waited for us. She greeted us and after finding out we hadn't eaten yet, she warmed up some milk and plated us cookies to eat ☺️ Truly the kindest and most hospitable host. We woke up to a delicious homemade breakfast every morning. The house is clean, in a central location, and is definitely cozy. Felt like we were staying at nonna's house. Thank you Mrs. Anna for your warmth and generosity. She made our stay unforgettable and even more special 🤗

Family B&B, you feel at home. Mrs. Anna is very kind, attentive to guests' needs, and excellent company. She gives great advice on where to eat and what to visit with the Bernina train. The B&B is located 5 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes from the center of Tirano. We never used the car to move around. The property offers an internal parking where you can leave your car. Attached to Porta Milanese where you can refill your water bottles with delicious local water. Great structure also for bikers, Mrs. Anna can recommend routes to take with suggestions on how to face them. Definitely if we were to pass through Tirano again, we would choose this place. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed for two nights in a double room. The room is exactly as in the photos, cozy and comfortable. The location is central, excellent for going to the station and taking the Bernina Express tour. Mrs. Anna, very friendly and kind, greeted us very well.

Structure in my opinion and preference really beautiful and comfortable, as well as discreet and in a quiet position away from the traffic noise, even though it is a 2-minute walk from the historic center.
