"Bed and Breakfast e Movimento" is located just a short walk from the Bernina Express train station in the historic center of Tirano, at the Milanese Gate, the ancient entrance to the walls of Tirano.

It has 3 rooms, including 2 double rooms and 1 twin room with single beds. 2 rooms have a private bathroom, located outside the room. Bed and breakfast formula with abundant Italian-style breakfasts.

Bicycles are available free of charge for all guests who wish to explore the Valtellina trail or any other off-road route in the area.

Tirano is an excellent starting point for food and wine, landscape, sports and cultural tourism.
From Tirano you can catch Bernina Express Train (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the famous panoramic train that crosses the Swiss Alps and reaches St. Moritz.
In Tirano you can visit the Sanctuary of Madonna di Tirano, a pilgrimage destination for the apparition of the virgin in 1504. You can also visit the historic center and its palaces, including Palazzo Salis.
Tirano is located in the middle of apple orchards and vineyards, which make Valtellina famous for its fine wines (Sforzato and Valtellina Superiore) and offer beautiful walks (from Tirano along the Wine Trail) that also reaches Teglio, where you can taste pizzoccheri, buckwheat pasta topped with bitto and casera.
Tirano is also along the Sentiero Valtellinese, the cycle path that from Colico also reaches Bormio, famous for its thermal waters.

Anna was a welcoming, discreet, helpful, and friendly host. She provided us with a lot of useful information and was flexible and available throughout the stay. The apartment is typical, comfortable, and with a wood stove that gives an indescribable charm and feeling of warmth and comfort! We will return.

Family B&B, you feel at home. Mrs. Anna is very kind, attentive to guests' needs, and excellent company. She gives great advice on where to eat and what to visit with the Bernina train. The B&B is located 5 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes from the center of Tirano. We never used the car to move around. The property offers an internal parking where you can leave your car. Attached to Porta Milanese where you can refill your water bottles with delicious local water. Great structure also for bikers, Mrs. Anna can recommend routes to take with suggestions on how to face them. Definitely if we were to pass through Tirano again, we would choose this place. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed for two nights in a double room. The room is exactly as in the photos, cozy and comfortable. The location is central, excellent for going to the station and taking the Bernina Express tour. Mrs. Anna, very friendly and kind, greeted us very well.

We were greeted very well by Anna who gave us excellent advice on which stretch to take of the Valtellina cycle path and on the places where to have dinner. The property is very close to the center and we had the opportunity to leave our e-bikes safely stored. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night at the B&B e Movimento run by Mrs. Anna, just a stone's throw from the Station, ideal for those traveling with the Bernina Express. The hostess is very hospitable and can give you all the necessary advice for your stay in Tirano. I would go back and recommend it.

Anna, the owner, is an incredible person! Helpful and friendly. The B&B e Movimento has a great value for money and is just a stone's throw from the square of Tirano. Covered parking spaces available for motorcycles. I felt like home.

Anna's house is very large yet intimate. Anna welcomes you and makes you feel at home, at any time. Furthermore, the house is close to everything you need: restaurants, supermarkets, bank, pharmacy, train and bus stations. We had a great time and even my daughter did her homework!

Beautiful experience for those who want to spend some time in nature and silence, getting away from the city chaos, great hospitality from the hosts and very friendly. Calore umano e simpatia nella persona che ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo, ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. La location è in una posizione ottimale per la sua vicinanza al centro di Tirano, l'ambiente è pulito e spazioso con tutti i comfort necessari. Inoltre la disponibilità della signora Anna da ampio spazio ad eventuali richieste personali. Al mattino poi, è davvero piacevole gustare per colazione le torte fatte in casa da Anna insieme al caffè, latte, yogurt e cereali. Insomma, decisamente consigliato!

Struttura a mio parere e preferenza davvero bella e confortevole oltre che discreta ed in posizione tranquilla fuori dai rumori del traffico anche se a 2 minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Gestita da una persona ammirevole per gentilezza e disponibilità oltre alla sua grande carica umana, se mi è permesso dirlo. Struggenti (a mio modesto parere) gli interni da casa antica ristrutturata. Da consigliare e arrivederci a presto!
