B&B La Vecchia Tipografia

I have stayed in many guesthouses, inns and hotels for work and also on holiday, but I must say that, in its small way, it is in no way inferior to the best hotels. The room was very nice and cozy, well furnished and above all very clean and pleasantly scented. Breakfast was excellent: nothing was missing. Thanks to Mrs. Loredana who welcomed us very warmly and for her availability. What can I say? Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

I highly recommend this establishment. The rooms are comfortable, cool, and the bathroom is spacious. The hostess welcomes you with excellent and varied breakfasts, always ready to give you advice on the areas to visit, where to eat, what to do. We had a really great time.

Attention to detail and excellent hospitality in every sense. The friendliness and great passion shown by Loredana give a magical touch to this place rich in history and stories.

Abundant and well-stocked breakfast. Clean, spacious and well-lit room. Available staff and well-prepared on the territory in terms of sports, food and attractions. Highly recommended.

I can only give the highest score to this property. We spent a beautiful weekend in this B&B: well-kept furnishings, impeccable cleanliness, and a super abundant and delicious breakfast. The location is perfect as the lake can be reached in a few minutes. We especially appreciated the kindness and availability of Mrs. Loredana, we felt at home 🙂 We will definitely come back!

Very well renovated B&B, large and very clean room, halfway between the town center and the lake (both within walking distance). SUPER breakfast. And what can I say about the owner Loredana... fantastic person, advises you in everything, really kind and prepared. In short, we will definitely come back.

The structure has been recently renovated. All spaces, both common areas and rooms and their bathrooms (we visited all three), are spacious and tastefully furnished. The owner, Loredana, is very kind, passionate about her work, and provides advice and information about places to visit. The breakfast is excellent. Recommended.

Structure in a strategic location, just a few steps from the main street and a 5-minute walk from the lake. Excellent welcome from the manager, attentive and very helpful to the needs of the customers. Excellent attention to cleanliness. One can feel the homely atmosphere thanks to their kindness. There are no mosquito nets and air conditioning, but the place does not require their presence.

The structure was an old Printing House recently renovated excellently. The interiors are spacious, bright, and with modern and tasteful furniture. The bathroom is very spacious and comfortable, equipped with every comfort. The breakfast is really excellent, abundant and with fresh and seasonal products. The owner is a very welcoming and helpful lady. She provided us with various indications both on places to visit and on restaurants where to taste typical dishes. A beautiful place to stay and enjoy the wonders of the surrounding area.

It's the second time we stayed at this beautiful B&B. I gave all 10 because in my opinion the structure is wonderful, the rooms are very beautiful and well taken care of in the small details. They love to pamper the guests, it's also evident in the breakfast, there's everything even for those with intolerances, it's close to the lake and can be reached on foot, I hope to come back soon, all very welcoming and clean.

We felt very comfortable in Loredana's accommodation. The room was very beautiful and recently renovated with great attention to detail, it felt like being one of the first guests because everything still seemed so new. It was super clean. In addition to the room description, we also had a small fridge, perfect for always having cool drinks in the very hot summer conditions. Very nice, modern bathroom. Wi-Fi had a brief glitch, but was quickly brought back up and running. Vespa parking in the garage, we also really liked that. The breakfast offer was better and more extensive than in some hotels. We can wholeheartedly recommend Loredana's accommodation. Many thanks for everything.

The structure is very well cared for in detail. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. Beautiful and spacious bathroom. Excellent accommodation if you want to spend a few days in the area of the lake and the adjacent valleys. Thanks to Laura and daughter who entertained us with information about the place and the history of the carnival in Ponte Caffaro: the Balarin are not only in Bagolino.

What to add new in addition to what has already been indicated by those who have been here before? Everything is excellent, starting from the courtesy and availability of Mrs. Loredana and her family. It is an hour's drive from Brescia and a convenient starting point for many itineraries in Trentino and beyond.

The maximum score is the minimum that can be given to a structure of this kind where courtesy, kindness, and good manners are simply part of the service. One cannot fail to appreciate the cleanliness and the taste with which Loredana has furnished all the rooms of B&B La Vecchia Tipografia, which is truly commendable. I think any other words are unnecessary to describe a wonderful stay in a B&B that has nothing to envy to many superior hotels, but they truly have nothing superior because the attention to detail by Loredana and her family really makes the difference. We truly hope to return soon.

Excellent, we have already been there 3 times. Loredana with family is very friendly. You arrive and immediately feel at home. Great praise. We will make more motorcycle trips and hope for a room from Loredana. Room and bathroom are very clean.

We were absolutely delighted by the 3 booked rooms and especially by the hospitality of the owners and the breakfast provided.

Excellent bed and breakfast in a strategic position to explore Lake Idro and the surrounding valleys, as well as Val di Ledro and Lake Garda, although located in a small village, Ponte Caffaro, which, despite having restaurants and shops, does not offer nightlife. The bed and breakfast has been recently renovated and is located on the top floor of a building a few minutes from the center and the lake shore, without an elevator but with the possibility of sheltering motorcycles and bicycles indoors. Convenient parking available for cars. Breakfast is above average, carefully prepared by the owner who is always available for any request and advice. The rooms are spacious and quiet, with excellent cleanliness. Great value for money.

The room we had really looked like the pictures. The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean and tidy. The breakfast was really well-prepared by Loredana, who is a very kind and wonderful person. It was not a problem that we could not communicate in Italian, Loredana made up for it with her sympathy and creativity. We can fully recommend this B&B in Ponte Caffaro. Some distances: Lake 8 minutes by walk Via ferrata: 10 minutes by car (Sasse), 30 minutes by car (Crench) Bouldering in Val di Daone: 30 minutes by car Gardaland: 90 minutes by car.

A truly excellent B&B, the owner Loredana with her family were very kind treating us very well. Our room was clean, spacious, and with a splendid bathroom. The breakfast was abundant with fresh croissants and seasonal fruit, coffee, milk, cappuccino, juices, and much more. The location is strategic, immersed in peace despite being a 2-minute walk from the town center and all the shops, 5 minutes from the lake... of the kind where 'I forget the car'. Definitely worth trying.

I am happy to be the first to review the B&B La Vecchia Tipografia, an excellent bed and breakfast from which many accommodations should take example! The welcome from Loredana is the first thing to highlight: always present, kind, generous with advice on what to do, see, where to eat. For her, all of this goes far beyond work, you can perceive how spontaneous and natural she is. I give her my sincere compliments for the perfect management of this activity that arises in what were previously the spaces of the family business (a printing house, in fact). From these, 3 spacious, bright, and detailed rooms have been created. A double, a triple, and a quadruple with pastel colors on the walls, wooden ceilings, large windows, and balconies. A special mention goes to the bathrooms: shower with glass, large shower head, and sink with counter space and drawers to store everything needed. In every corner, you will recognize Loredana's touch, who, being a mother of 4 children, has used her experience to make the 3 rooms cozy and truly beautiful: large spaces, LED TV to watch comfortably from the comfortable bed, safe, autonomous heating, air conditioning, and IMPECCABLE cleanliness. In the morning, a sumptuous breakfast awaits you with milk, coffee, fruit, and fresh croissants, cold cuts, biscuits with Storo flour, freshly squeezed juice, served in the bright breakfast room always available to guests. The B&B's location is enviable: 700 meters from Lake Idro (nestled among the mountains, splendid!), 9 km from Bagolino, a charming mountain village of ancient origins (go to the Traveler's Tavern) from which you can continue to Maniva and Gaver, but also close to the beautiful Valle di Ledro, Riva del Garda, Trento. In short, there is no shortage of choices for a relaxing holiday between lake, mountain, and art cities.
