B&B La Torre

The B&B La Torre is located in the historic center of Crema, inside the Franceschini palace, next to the sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Campo di Marte gardens. The structure is the result of a careful restoration of an ancient monastery from the second half of the seventeenth century, of which the architectural layout, the inner courtyard with the fountain, and the bell tower have remained. In 1797, with the suppression of religious orders and the confiscation of ecclesiastical property by Napoleon, the convent life of the building also ceased, the bronze bells were removed, and it was transformed into a private residence. Today, the rooms still preserve the materials and details of the ancient era, combined with modern elements. Despite being located in the heart of the city, the structure is very quiet and offers its guests elegant and bright spaces, equipped with every comfort: underfloor heating and cooling, soundproofing and thermal insulation for maximum comfort, natural oak flooring, marble bathrooms with Venetian spatulate walls, and WiFi internet connection.

We will briefly describe the internal structure of the B&B "La Torre" in Crema. From a reception entrance, welcomed by the fresco - Ave Maria a trasbordo - by Giovanni Segantini, you can also access a large living area dedicated to both reading and conversation, as well as a generous breakfast, where you can relax in tranquility and enjoy a fantastic atmosphere enhanced by the frescoes of Giovanni Segantini, The Return from the Woods and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. You can also climb the tower, from which you can contemplate a stunning panorama: an aerial view of the city of Crema with the Cathedral, its numerous churches, and its suggestive medieval and Renaissance buildings.

The B&B "La Torre" has three welcoming areas, three rooms with private bathrooms:
- Primula rossa: double room with a '900 art deco walnut bathroom.
- Stella alpina: double room with a modern Tyrolean-style painted fir bathroom.
- Genziana: loft suite with three beds, Lombard style from the mid-19th century, decorated with poplar wood and exclusive use of the terrace.
