Description

Our B&B is situated in Virgilio, an area with great archaeological and architectural value, in a place with a spectacular view of the countryside. Our guests will have the opportunity to walk and cycle, taste local products thanks to food and wine itineraries, participate in numerous cultural events, visit the beautiful Mantova, the cradle of the Renaissance and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, getting lost in its charming historic centre.

There are many other nearby places to visit, such as Polirone and Sabbioneta. Our structure is the ideal location for a dream holiday in a romantic and discreet setting, for those looking for peace and tranquillity in close contact with nature, far from the noise and bustle of the city. Our customers have access to rooms with different bathroom options (private, exclusive, shared), free Wi-Fi, heated rooms, the freedom to return at any time of the night, and parking.

The Martin Pescatore B&B was born out of the desire of owners Cristina and Giuliano to share with others the place where their dreams and desires have taken shape. A place immersed in the tranquillity of the Mincio park, where every detail has been carefully crafted with taste and simplicity to make every moment of the day serene and relaxing. Our hope is that you too can experience, in the refined simplicity of the surroundings, in the attention to detail, in the genuineness of the breakfasts we will prepare for you, the same feelings that we have experienced and continue to experience every day.

There are numerous opportunities for leisure and entertainment nearby. A few hundred metres away, it is possible to cycle along the bike path that leads to Lake Garda and, passing through Mantova, other renowned places in the upper Mantovano area. Our structure is located within the Mincio Park, and it is possible to walk and hike along the riverbanks and wetlands and observe the rich flora and fauna. Finally, there are many historical and artistic destinations that the whole province of Mantova offers. Lastly, about 1 km away, there is a large and well-supplied outlet where you can make exclusive and convenient purchases.

Homemade cakes, muffins, biscuits, jams and bread with us with high quality products from the territory or from our garden / orchard, using the eggs of our hens.

This is what will welcome you when you wake up, in the tables prepared in our garden or by the pool. but if it rains, don't worry. The large breakfast room will give you the same sensations.

On request we prepare breakfasts for celiacs or people with food intolerances.

Very kind hosts. Cozy house and a fantastic pool. Very close to the Ciclabile del Sole bike path, an excellent stopover for us since we arrived by bicycle.

Countryside house with a very well-kept and clean pool. Large comfortable room with attention to every detail, friendly, professional, and helpful managers. Beautiful pool in the greenery, an oasis of relaxation just a few minutes' drive from the city center and the highway. Breakfast served by the pool with all the exquisite artisanal products! We highly recommend it and we will definitely return when we can! Of course, we gave a 10 to every question in the questionnaire!

Highly recommended! Enchanting place located 10/15 minutes from Mantova. The B&B is truly beautiful, a restored mansion with the first floor dedicated to guests. The room was very clean and quiet. The hosts are really kind people, especially the lady with whom we exchanged words upon our arrival. A special mention for the breakfast, abundant and delicious, all made with homemade products personally by the owner. I hope to stay there again. Keep it up!

We booked the accommodation spontaneously, which was not a problem. The house is very special and charmingly decorated, and it's great that there is a swimming pool available. There was also a possibility to store our bikes. The location is somewhat remote and in the small village there are not many options for dining, etc. I would like to particularly highlight the breakfast, which is prepared very lovingly with many homemade delicacies. The hosts were very friendly, so we felt very comfortable.

We also had the opportunity to have dinner at the property and everything was delicious. The managers were very kind and super welcoming. Perfect B&B for those who want to visit Mantua and sleep in tranquility, and in case, have access to a beautiful and comfortable pool! Clean rooms, our bathroom is new and functional. We had the room with the loft, ideal in case you want to go with children (a bit older due to the stairs). The managers are very kind, excellent breakfast with mostly homemade products, excellent! Recommended!

It has been a really beautiful experience and lovely stay. We just stopped over on our way to Tuscany. But his place was really worth it. The family room requires only older children - my wife "volunteered" to sleep on the top bed.

A paradise, friendly, nice and sporty owners, knowledgeable about bike routes. It was our stop during the Po river cycle path. Beautiful structure that exudes love and care in every detail. TOP breakfast with homemade products. Quality-price ratio: excellent.
