Description

The B&B "I Melograni" is located in an 18th-century turret in the garden of a historic residence, surrounded by ancient trees. It offers a relaxing atmosphere with modern comforts, just a few kilometers away from Lake Garda.

The B&B was created from an ancient 18th-century building called the "dovecote" due to a series of small openings where pigeons found shelter.

It is a three-story turret made of stone and bricks, with a marble staircase that has been almost completely restored.

The main residence, also dating back to the 18th century and originally part of a complex of different buildings, faces the turret and is separated from it by a large shady garden.

In the converted cellar with stone walls and exposed beams, Mrs. Virginia serves breakfast. The adjacent kitchen, fully equipped, can be used by guests whenever they wish.

The environment is unique and original, combining the charm of ancient materials with the availability of modern comforts.

The double rooms are bright, furnished with antique furniture, and equipped with a private bathroom with a shower and linens.

Late spring is undoubtedly the best time to enjoy the explosion of colorful blooms, but during the summer, the garden at night can be an ideal place to enjoy the refreshing and regenerating power of a cozy corner of nature.

You can immerse yourself in the relaxing atmosphere of the green hinterland of the lake and reach the Riviera within a few kilometers. You will also find recommendations and directions for visits to nearby art cities such as Brescia and Verona, as well as to the numerous castles of Valtenesi, which can also be reached by bicycle.

The place is really beautiful, inside a tower. Quiet and well-kept. Extreme kindness. The room is very nice, cozy and definitely pleasant. If I happen to return to Bedizzole for a few days, I already know where to go... To the Pomegranates!

We do not usually visit the same places twice, but we returned to the wonderful I Melograni, after 13 years! We could not forget that our hosts always made us feel at home, but also that we took advantage of the "strategic" position of I Melograni to visit the fascinating beauties of Lake Garda. A special appreciation for the dedication with which the historic tower with the living rooms was renovated, the care for details and for preserving the medieval charm - but maintaining the standard of modern comfort. Also, the delicious Italian-style breakfast is unforgettable, as is the garden that surrounds the property and delights your eyes from the early morning hours. We wholeheartedly recommend B&B I Melograni and wish the Tessadori Family much success in the future.

My partner and I stayed 1 night, well-kept place, with a large garden, private parking away from the 'classic' places of the lake. Room as in the photos, clean and essential. We often stay in B&Bs but this is the first time we slept badly. If I could give advice to the owners, I would say to change the mattress and pillows with others of a new generation, eliminating feather pillows and a mattress stuffed with a poorly defined material that reminded me of my grandmother's. Simple homemade breakfast without many expectations.

The B&B I Melograni is located in a historic residence and the rooms are tastefully furnished. The location of the B&B is very convenient for visiting both historical and art cities. Furthermore, a few kilometers away are the shores of Lake Garda.

We stayed at this property for a horse riding competition. The location is strategic as the equestrian center is easily reachable on foot. We stayed in 2 rooms located in the tower: the new spiral staircase with non-slip steps, rooms with antique furniture, exposed beams, and thick walls that keep the rooms cool (the managers have also installed an air conditioning system, but we didn't use it). SUPER welcoming and SUPER availability.

A dream structure. A small tower (which was the ancient barn) transformed into a cozy B&B. The lady, her husband, and their daughter are delightful people, individuals of such kindness seem to no longer exist. Our room was in the “dovecote” on the top floor. A very cute room, well furnished, with exposed beams, terracotta floor, a small but well-equipped bathroom, an old but very comfortable bed, well heated and also equipped with air conditioning for the summer. Breakfast is served on the ground floor of the tower: homemade cakes, coffee machine, fruit juices, jams… in short, everything is there. The lady even tidied up our room during our stay. The building is located in a very quiet area. There are no noises, and rest is guaranteed. You can park your car easily inside the property, to which you have access with the remote control that the lady provides along with the room keys. Less than a hundred meters from the B&B, there is a restaurant (Ristorante Mediterraneo) that serves very fresh fish at very honest prices. It's a pity that Bedizziole is not a place you return to very often because the structure really deserves it. A little gem seasoned with the love of those who manage it.

The structure is in a nearby and convenient location for Desenzano del Garda. It's very nice, quiet, and private. The room is very cozy, clean, spacious, and allows for a comfortable stay. The owner is very affable, kind, and helpful. We will certainly come back to visit her.

My wife and I stayed at B&B I Melograni on New Year's Eve. Due to an evening at a nearby restaurant, we didn't want to drive back home, risking maybe our license for a glass too many. The owner was very kind to welcome us in the afternoon of the 31st and very helpful in preparing breakfast for us the next morning, with the necessary flexibility in timing given the particularity of the previous evening. The structure is very beautiful, located in a perfectly restored ancient tower, with a small "reception" on the ground floor that also serves as a breakfast room. There are three rooms, one on the first floor with a nice balcony, the second and third accessible by a steep and narrow spiral staircase that reminds me of those of medieval towers. Our room was in the attic, featuring beautiful exposed beams with terracotta flooring, vintage furniture, and a truly evocative look. Large and clean bathroom, all very well maintained although a little touch-up here and there wouldn't hurt. The only downside is the presence of pigeons outside that keep quite some company, although I must say the bed and pillow were very comfortable and we slept very well. The following morning we were served a plentiful breakfast without particular demands, I would say more than acceptable. Outside, there is a beautiful garden, with convenient parking available. In addition to the keys, the gate remote control is also provided. We will certainly return even though it's only forty minutes away from our home.

Mrs. Virginia, the B&B manager, was very kind, both during the booking of the stay (since it was not certain that I could confirm the dates quickly) and during the stay. The breakfast consists of biscuits and cakes rigorously made by her, delicious. Also a fantastic location to then go to the lake, 5 minutes by car. See you soon Melograni. Marco.
