Description

The B&B Garzola is a cozy Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of the lake, just 25 kilometers from Como, famous for its splendid examples of Renaissance architecture, and only 10 kilometers from Menaggio, in the picturesque village of Ossuccio, renowned for its pleasant climate, historical monuments, and natural wonders.

Surrounded by the tranquility of nature, about 800 meters from the lake and at the beginning of the historic avenue that leads to the famous Sacro Monte di Ossuccio, this enchanting place offers an ideal atmosphere for a relaxing vacation, with the possibility to enjoy pleasant panoramic walks in the mountains or along the shores of the lake. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to visit the most charming locations in the area.

There are 2 cozy apartments available. The attic (60 sqm), located on the top floor, offers a pleasant view of the lake and is equipped with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. In addition, there are 6 rooms available with private facilities, flat-screen TV, and streaming service. The accommodations, furnished according to local tradition, are spacious and always impeccable in terms of hygiene. Upon your arrival, a courtesy set will be offered to you.

The property has a private parking lot for guests, just 900 meters from the bus stop that connects to the Como train station. Furthermore, upon arrival or departure, you can take advantage of a free transfer to or from the bus stop or the port. The Locanda Garzola is located about 1. 5 km from the center of Lenno, which you can easily reach.

If I could have given a higher rating for the view and the host I certainly would have. Our room had a lake view and opening the window in the morning and seeing that sight is priceless. Michel is very nice and always helpful. As soon as we arrived he suggested places to see and recommended excellent restaurants. The rooms are simple and functional. Breakfast was abundant and varied, with the option to have it in the garden overlooking the lake. The garden also offers the chance to spend moments in complete relaxation.

This is a great establishment. Michel, the manager, is very attentive and friendly. The rooms were fine, the bathroom a bit small and there is a slight lack of storage depending on the room you are in. The location is uphill, so it is difficult to do everything on foot, but you have to like walking and climbing. The breakfast was excellent: there was variety and everything was good. If we had to return to the area, we would go back without hesitation.

We spent four nights at the B&B in the family room and it was great: the room was very spacious (effectively two separate bedrooms, one for adults and one for kids) and had a very large bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. Most importantly, the host, Michel, was very friendly and had loads of great advice for things to see and do. The garden had great views and having plates and cutlery at our disposal was a lovely little bonus, as it meant we were able to have a couple of evening picnics in the garden. We loved this place!

One of the best stays we've had. It was high on a hill, so if you don't have a car like us it is a tough walk uphill, but the views make it worth it. Comfortable bed, excellent views, cold air conditioning, wonderful breakfast, and a superb host. Near the Villa del Balbianello.

Fantastic location for the views from the rooms and the opportunity to go on hikes. Very comfortable in every respect and the outdoor breakfast, with a lake view and in the quiet, definitely gets the day off to the right start. 😊 The host was very polite and helpful. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back!

The accommodation has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake. The host was very courteous and helpful in welcoming us. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the very kind manager who was available for any advice about the place. The B&B Garzola is a small reality not to be underestimated: the view of the lake is spectacular, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is plentiful.

Everything perfect and uncomplicated. The host Michelle is really great. His restaurant recommendations are top-notch. We spent 5 nights there and were completely satisfied. Restaurants and bars within a 5-10 minute walk, alternatively 2 minutes by car.

The accommodation is highly recommended, you have everything you need in the apartment. The location is great, with a view of the lake and a guaranteed parking space at B&B Garzola. Hello. The hotel is remarkably located, offering a splendid view of the beautiful setting of Lake Como. The welcome is well done by an owner always available and helpful. The whole place has been recently renovated. A decent breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am. The stay will leave a good memory.
