Located in the heart of the historical, artistic centre of town, our family run bed and breakfast is the ideal location to discover Bergamo and its region. We, Enrica, Lela and Lucy will be very glad to welcome you and pamper you in every possible way: that is our goal, giving you a personally tailored approach to the site so that you can feel like a local, a Bergamasco. Giving you personal suggestions is what we really like.

Relaxing, strolling around, discovering plenty of hidden secret areas, centuries away from the bustling city is a charming way to spend time in Bergamo. Breath and be absorbed by the Italian way of life, sipping a cappuccino on one of the terraces on Piazza Vecchia, taking a romantic walk towards the breathtaking San Vigilio vista point, or just enjoy the slow pace life of this part of town.

Our two no smoking, very attractive apartments are located in a medieval, charming and completely renovated house, still keeping the fascination of the old good things, where the family and the dog Gigia live.

Simplicity and tastefulness are characteristic of the interior design, which perfectly suits the rich in history walls and vaults.

In the summer our sweet and savoury breakfast is served in the medieval courtyard, surrounded by a tasteful garden. This can be a quiet refuge for many of our guests, seeking for peace and privacy.

Breakfast

Our breakfast, sweet and savory, includes in addition to hot drinks and fruit juice, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit, bread and croissants, butter and jam, cold cuts and cheeses, eggs.

It is served from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday we will advise you where to enjoy a delicious Italian or continental breakfast.

We serve breakfast from Monday until Saturday between 8 and 9, 30 in our common room or in the garden, depending on the weather.

PAY ATTENTION PLEASE: we don’t serve breakfast in the Christmas time, in the mid-August, in all national holidays and at particolar times of the year:

If there is a Garden of Eden, then it is at Enrica's B&B Entro le Mura in Bergamo. The absolute highlight of the accommodation for us was the dreamy garden with a magnificent view. Our apartment was absolutely to our taste: a mix of old walls and the comforts of modernity. From the bed you had a wonderful view and could already hear the birds chirping early in the morning. Everything was absolutely clean and in good condition. The apartment was cleaned and the beds were made every day. Breakfast was served in a room with 17th-century walls and it was very nicely arranged. Besides Enrica there was another very friendly staff member. The old town and the surrounding area are an absolute dream for culture and nature lovers. And the best: hardly any German tourists. You can enjoy the authentic flair of Italy undisturbed.

Very beautiful property in an absolutely central location with a small garden. Enrica is very nice. The breakfast was really lovingly prepared and absolutely fair at €7. You should book the parking garage through the apartment; it is just around the corner and costs €20/day.

The location, price, and overall experience at Entro Le Mura were amazing. Located within a 1–5 minute walk of anything you could want to visit in Città Alta and a 10-minute walk from the bus stop that takes you to the airport, I honestly cannot imagine a better-located place to stay. The garden has an amazing view that catches the sunlight all afternoon. The host was kind and available via WhatsApp for any queries or recommendations. I couldn't recommend this place more; I had a truly wonderful stay.

I had a great time. Everything was great. It was clean and beautiful, and everything was within walking distance. If I go to Bergamo again, I will stay at this hotel. If you have large pieces of luggage, it could be difficult to walk with them on the roads.

Pleasant stay, comfortable beds, good location and above all a beautiful building. The owner makes you feel at home and provides many conveniences. We had not booked breakfast because we were going out later, and at the last minute she offered us breakfast (which was very varied and good). The apartment had only one minor drawback: it was on the ground floor and there is some vehicular traffic on that street, so if you are very sensitive to noise it may bother you. I suppose the apartments on higher floors will not have that small nuisance. Otherwise, it is a perfect place. It's a pity that the cold did not allow us to enjoy the excellent backyard garden with views.

We had the perfect stay in Bergamo. The host was very helpful and always available for advice and assistance. The room was beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable. I chose this B&B to host relatives and to let them discover the beauty of Città Alta. The property has an excellent location, 200 m from the main square, and only a 4-minute walk from very convenient paid parking. Mrs. Enrica was very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!

Enrica was very kind: she registered us for entry into the ZTL and gave us directions for parking. Although we stayed only one night, the stay went well. The only negative point is that the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy.

Atmospheric property located in a historic building in the centre of the old town. We had an apartment on the ground floor with direct access to the garden. Great place to rest and unwind. It provides decent comfort even on hot days. Unfortunately we happened to be there during a holiday period when breakfasts were not served. The only minor drawback(in our apartment) was a very weak internet signal.

We stayed for a week in an apartment, everything went very well. The daily cleaning of the rooms was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden with a panoramic view where hearty breakfasts are served. If arriving by car, remember to book nearby parking and request an authorization to enter the Città Alta(ZTL). Enrika takes care of everything. The property is very well located for visiting the city of Bergamo, Verona and the lakes of Garda, Como and Maggiore.

Great location to start the Via delle sorelle, in the heart of the citta alta. Nice room, great breakfast. To name two setbacks: other guests put off the switch for hot water so I got a cold shower, and the traffic in the narrow street gives a lot of noise.

A perfect address for a visit to Bergamo. Very well located, almost in the center, just steps from the main street. The accommodation is impeccable, there's no refrigerator (a little decor might be welcome, but that's really nitpicking). The garden is pleasant and very welcoming. Enrika is very responsive and caring. She reserved the parking for us, contacted the town hall to register our car, and provided all the information we needed. She answered our questions at any time. In short, there is nothing to say, we will definitely return and we can only recommend this accommodation.

This is a lovely place. We stayed in the downstairs apartment, it was clean and well laid out with everything we needed for a self-contained break. It has a lovely garden with beautiful views, and the B&B is in a great location for Bergamo Alta. Enrica was very helpful and welcoming and was available to answer questions promptly. She helped in booking an airport collection for one of our party and driver Michele was courteous and friendly. Overall I would highly recommend this venue.

The B&B Entro le Mura is a very very nice place to stay: very well located in the high city of Bergamo, close to the main points of interest of the city. It is an old and very well-preserved traditional building, with a very nice quiet big garden where it is very pleasant to rest after a day of walking in the streets. The room is big and very bright, very quiet at night as it is just above the garden. The bathroom is also big and modern, everything works well. There is also a big room to relax in the building. We had breakfast at the place and it was a fantastic breakfast with fresh fruit salad, eggs with ham and cheese, fresh bread and croissants, and everything you could want. Additionally, there is Erica, our host who was perfect during the booking and information process, answering quickly and clearly to all the questions we had, giving us a lot of good advice especially for the parking which is very close (very important to book before arriving), and who welcomed us very nicely and gently when we arrived. In summary, a perfect stay in a very nice place, we felt like at home!

Excellent location to visit Bergamo, especially Bergamo Alta. Impeccable Mrs. Enrica who manages the property; particularly appreciated the attention and care towards the guests. Downsides: the bathroom temperature in winter was a bit cold, especially after showering. Useful info: finding parking near the property may not be very easy, even for a fee; it is also advisable to contact Mrs. Enrica for the courtesy of requesting temporary transit permission which, although not necessary to reach the B&B, can prevent unintentional trespassing from incurring unexpected administrative burdens (fines). Quality of stay: excellent. Highly recommended. The possible flaws of the property are mostly attributable to the ongoing renovation works which, however, do not affect the quality of the stay.

Despite the ideal location and undeniable charm of this residence, the welcome by the owner was rushed, the room overlooked the reception area leaving no room for intimacy and was also noisy. But the most unpleasant thing was to find out upon arrival from the owner that breakfast was not provided, even though by the very essence of the concept, breakfast is an integral part of the service. The most disagreeable thing is that we were not informed in advance of this significant inconvenience. Moreover, the owner was not always very clear about the cost of the services... In short, a disappointing experience even though the surrounding town and the establishment itself were perfect for a bucolic stay. I do not recommend if the owner does not make an effort to take care of their guests.

This was a lovely property with a great host and good location. My only complaint was the lack of clear instructions to reach the B&B from the bus. The Google Maps directions were not helpful and it was a chore to find our way there.

The B&B Entro le Mura in Bergamo Alta is in a great location. Located in an ancient building, it has spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms. It also has a nice little garden that unfortunately, due to the season, we couldn't fully enjoy, but I believe that in late spring it will be delightful. The staff is very kind and attentive. Good breakfast in a friendly environment even with other guests. Excellent value for money.

We stayed one night in this beautiful ancient palace in the center of Bergamo Alta. Strategic location just a stone's throw from the center, we were assigned a mini apartment with 2 bedrooms and a garden view. Very quiet, clean, one note on the old bathroom with a radiator to be painted and a shower curtain that we didn't like. Good abundant breakfast with both sweet and savory options. An excellent stay, I would happily return. P.S. The very courteous owner will provide you with passes for the historic center and a detailed itinerary to reach the property.

Nice and charming bed and breakfast with a good inside temperature even in summer. It's a nice location with big walls that keep a good and fresh temperature even in hot weather. This is very important in Bergamo. The mattresses were just fantastic for a great sleep. In general, very good place to stay, with a charming garden for breakfast and a very friendly and helpful host. Place to recommend.
